[Resolved] Irctc — cheating with users | |
Today on 27th april 2008, i was trying to book a ticket on irctc but i was getting status as not available but when i contacted an agent he told me that there are 35 seats available (tatkal quota), isn't it chetaing with normal users why railway is providing such privilages to theire agents just for some extra money and i think this is the success mantra behind railways profit. i travelled from hyderabad to new delhi on 14th april and returned on 22nd april by AP EXPRESS.our journey was com fortable but food served was hopeless.breakfast we took upma with voda.neither upma nor voda was tasty and chetny was was hopeless.i feel that you must improve standard of catering.food should be tasty and delicious.you must also keep in mind that 90% PEOPLE TRAVELLING in ap- express are TELUGU people.so you must prepare food according to thier taste.for lunch we took vegetable fried rice in that rice is half cooked.so improve your catering services in APEXPRESS

My name is Abhilash nair, I had just made an online tkt reservation on 17 nov-08 for 2 tkts for the train no 1601 Pun-mmr passngr for 22 nov, vide transaction number [protected], against which i was transferred to ICICI bank site and made a payment of Rs 217 [Two Hundred and Seventeen], , the amount has been deducted but the next page that gives me the ERS did not load for a long time(15 mins), i closed it and then checked my booked tkts history and there is no tkt there.but the amount has been deducted from my account in ICICI,
This is ridiculous now i gatta pay again for the same tkt??
This is the crap that IRCTC gives us, to top it all as it was urgent i again tried to book just one tkt and same thing happened, the page hung after making payment and session expired, amount of 106 Rs deducted and no tkt boooked.
Well this is also one way how IRCTC makes profit, rite????

Tatkal bookings are supposed to open up 5days prior to scheduled departure of train, but please note seats getting filled up even before bookings are open. Example- westcoast exp(6627). Sleeper class (tatkal bookings) are yet to open for[protected], but already 18 seats have been booked at 5am on[protected]. How can this be explained?.

i was trying to booking my ticket on 24.02.2009 from IRCTC website but the amount is debited from my account but ticket was not booked till now my account is not credited till today, how much time it takes to credit the account
My journey date is 20/02/2009 and i have cancel my Tatkal ticket on 19/02/2009.But the amount Rs. 0(zero) will be added in my amount, after cancel the Tatkal ticket the some amount will be get back or full amount will deduct.
I am vijay kumar gupta travelling with my family for puri holiday, we are traveling in ac 3 tier dated 11.03.2009, we have find there lot of problem like blanket are not washed from last 5 days and and also lots of cockroaches and rats and no any maintanance in the coach. when i was triting top talk with the coach attendent his reply was " what can i do" i had try to talk with TT about complain book, he also reply " i cant give you"

one of your representative is calling me and disturbing frequently to take some SBI Credit card, insipte of me telling him tht i'm not interested to take the card.
He is very rediculous/and rude in communicating with me, as if i have borrowed some money from him.
i dont know his name, he called me from this no [protected], please let me know to whom where i need to report reg this. i was totally frustrated.

What can be done if a registered irctc agent demands me twice the amount of the ticket . He gave me the bill to recognise which ticket he should give to me and then he took back that reciept . And how come those agents get our ticket confirmed whet it is shown to up that there is no room . WL xxx. They charge up much more to get that confirm ticket .
