[Resolved] IRCTC Indian Railways — Train cancelled - but full money not refunded | |||
Sir, I have purchased a reservation ticket online on IRCTC. But due to Telanagana agitation train was cancelled. So, I filed a TDR for the refund. However, only half the amount was refunded. I have called the IRCTC customer care multiple times and they are giving me different telephone number each time I called them. Nobody answer the calls on those numbers. In case even if they answer also they are again asking me contact customer care. But the other half of the amount is not being paid by IRCTC. I think Indian railway is cheating everybody and making money. Trains are ovefull, suffering the people but railway is earning money with overfull trains. Why do they sale more tickets then the available train seats or bearths? Thatswhy Indian railway is the worst in the world. I rate it with one star but it is like -10 stars, it is the worst in the world. For railway is only money important but no service. In the 1st class or two tire AC´s there is no service, every where is dirty, but the complaine book is always maintained. The compartments are really dirty for the ticket fare what railway charge. Next time I will also submit the good and bad photos of train compartments, but not only on this website.

I had purchased a reservation ticket online on IRCTC. But due to fog problems the train was late more then 6-7 houres. So, I filed a TDR for the refund. However, only half the amount was refunded. I have called the IRCTC customer care multiple times and they are giving me different telephone number each time I called them. Nobody answer the calls on those numbers. In case even if they answer also they are again asking me contact customer care. But the other half of the amount is not being paid by IRCTC.
I think IRCTC is earning money by cheating the people. As per rule I should get full fare refunded by IRCTC. Now I have waited enough and will go to the police station then to the court. Railway is the bigest cheater in India.
