Dear Sirs,

I take this opportunity to tell you my experience in using your site for booking railway tickets. I have been using it for quite some time. Many times I have not given my feedback, given the volume you handle and the slow ness of your servers. But at some point of time, you need to get into improvement mode to stay ahead, but you may think you have monopoly in your field. Please try to be more human sensitive and devise a pleasant outlook and operational motto.

Today, I have spent several hours trying to book one set of tickets using internet. The following information will tell you the pathetic situation your site gives to its dedicated users.

Except item no. 3, all the amounts have been paid by the respective banks.your account have been credited with the same. Due to your obsolete servers, at the end of the session, some kind of message appers and there seems to be no going forward. except that you close the screen.

Other than what is above, I had to book paying money again, so as to book the tickets.when i contacted your 139, it is never giving you any option except train number, platform etc. no option to talk to any human. ok. after try [protected] , it will ring for some time, later close. you never get to talk.
today one occasion one operator from 139 gave one chennai number to solve my problem in bangalore, but after many attempts, the line never became operational.

Another point which you need to seriously consider.
When I ask for a booking of two lower berths when your system shows over 600 berths available at that point of time, you prefer to give upper berths and side upper berths and deny a lower berth inspite of the special request put in, even to senior citizens. then may i ask whom your system is reserving those lower berths to be given to, is there any secret system of allotment of lower berths?
Please i think you should be restructuring as far as service is considered, to make it more convenient to the traveller, instead of making the memory of travel a great problematic something and booking a ticket this kind of nightmare. I dont know whether you would read these or just allow it to go to the yonder, but if you are a person with some amount of proactive approach to the general public and realise that you are also a consumer when out of railway system, please give the foregoing a thought and the importance it deserves.
My money has been debited, but there has been no ticket, not once, but four occasions, today!

IRCTC — Complaint Against 1 ticket booked but debited 3 times from my 2 different account

Respected sir,
I am JAGMOHAN SINGH . l have booked one ticket from my SBI ATM CUM DEBIT CARD last night on 15/7/10 at evening .
BUT my account has been DEBITED 3 times and i only got one confirm ticket.
However my computer was hanged between 6 to 9 pm as i entered the pin code of bank and ammount debited 3 times.
i just want 1 ticket which i got it and i want money return to me which excessively debited from my account and credited in your.

IRCTC — about not having vijaya bank as its booking card

i have an complaint that in your bank list for booking of e-ticket why don't you have option of vijya bank, it is also an nationalised bank so please include its name......

irctc railway booking — extra amount debited

I booked 5 tickets in the month of June and July 2010. in my card account there are entries like

SURCH--- i.e. SURCH letters followed by amount of tickets booked eg. SURCH1021 etc.
Like this there are 5 entries. It is not clear what are these entries. When mail is send to irctc, they never reply any mail for which some specific answer is required.

These entries have come in the bill of August 2010.

How can irctc charge something after the tickets are utilised?

irctc railway booking — Availability shown as wrongly

I booked ticket on[protected] thru irctc website ,at the time of booking from kovilpatti to Chennai ,it shows avaialbility as 96,after booking my ticked status as pqwl waiting list 94 and 95

IRCTC — Money deducted by ticket not booked

Booked ticket to tirupati from hyderabad loging into IRCTC.Booked two tickets one using HDFC visa and other using internet banking of SBI.Money got deducted from my account but ticket is not booked.
This is the third time happening.This is the serious issue.People book their tickets through this site in millions.
I don't know who is the benefiary(Bank or Railways).Please solve this issue.
If the Internet connection is the issue how is the money transaction happening?

Nagaraju — Online Train ticket reservation Error

Hi Sir,

I have tried to book the train ticket today 22-apr-11 in tatkal for 24th apr 11, journey. After selecting all options , the money is debitted from my account but the ticket is not yet booked and it showed the server error. This happened 3 times and the money got debitted 3 times. Please look into the issue. My user id for IRCTC is naga312010.

I was trying to book a ticket on IRCTC portal on 4/08/2011 ( time 10.30am)from Bangalore to Hubli on Solapur Express. The Rs 759 from my credit card is deducted but the ticket did not come, i got sms from my HDFC card saying the money is deducted from my account,

I again tried 2nd time to book the same ticket again the Rs 759/- is deducted from my credit card but ticket did not come.

IRCTC has taken two times Rs759, ie total 1498/- but the ticket has not come.

Request you to refund my money to my account.

SBI — bank debit my money but ticket was not booked

i was booked ticket at irctc.com railway online passenger booking ticket. But every time my transaction is failed/not response.

ticket was booked through internet from kiul to dhanbad for second april 2012. your information is that transaction request is sent to SBI but money not yet received whereas SBI on enquiry confirmed payment to a/c no. [protected] SBI, IRCTC COLLECT. Reference no. is [protected]/G98380547. Please look into and either get my ticket booked or refund the money (Rs. 609 ). Thanking You for reply at the earliest. IRCTC — ticket not booked money debited

hello, i went to irctc site to book a ticket. The amount of Rs. 313 was debited from my SBI account.

After the amount was debited i was supposed to be redirected to irctc site from where i can print the ticket. but it showed that the session expired. I checked booking history but thjere was no ticket issued. i called at customer care but call was not taken. what should i do now.

Sir, I started using your site irctc.co.in for e-ticket on 19 Jun 2012 from Vijayawada (BZA) to Visakhapatnam (VSKP) for 2 adults for journey by Train NO. 12718 (Ratnachal Express). Whereas first time while data fed and amount paid through my debit card, the system got hanged and ticket could not generated by your server followed with error as PAGE cannot be displayed. AT the same time RS. 203/- was deducted from my account (Debit Card NO. [protected] SBI-MasterCard) without generating e-ticket vide transaction No.[protected] on 19 Jun 2012 10:27AM followed by SMS on my mobile [protected].Second time when I checked Booking History, there was no PNR no. held in system and as such I re-entered the same data for traveling by same train on same date and I got a e-ticket generated by system duly deducting Rs. 203/- agiain second time against PNR No. [protected] Train No. 12718 DOJ:[protected]TXN #[protected] .
In view of the above, I request your honour to kindly reverse back the excess amount or Rs. 203/- against TXN. No.[protected] on 19 Jun 2012 as it was a duplicated recovery excess to journey fare. I would be grateful i[censored] can give me a message on my mobile [protected] at the earliest.

AT the same time RS.835/- was deducted from my account (Debit Card NO.[protected] SBI-MasterCard) without generating e-ticket vide transaction No. [protected] on 25 Jun 2012 . when I checked Booking History, there was no PNR no. held in system and Showing payment not received in bank,
But bank transition no is[protected].

In view of the above, I request your honour to kindly reverse back the debited amount or Rs. 835/- my SBI Account No [protected], IFSC Code SBIN0011744, MICR Code[protected]. Thanking You.
