Dear all, they can easily manage the security related concerns with two way verification via OTP and then they should allow to make changes now from 4th nov i am trying to login but due to some glitch in there system irctc is not going forward to make tickets without verifing my mobile number,

but i do the procedure o[censored]pdate that is give but its such complecated and not happeinng, i feel they have intentionally make it complecated for end users so that agents can make profite and a normally a passenger can not make ticket, i have seen agents app they make tickets very smoothly.

for public welfare kindly make it simple .

    1.) I Was booked Train Ticket by PNR no. [protected] on 26-Aug-2024.in Train No 22474 for Borivali to Ahmedabad.
    2.) Train was rescheduled Two Time finally Train was departed from Borivali on 28-aug-2024 1:00 AM. On 4:00 AM we got SMS that Train has been diverted due to unavoidable circumstances.
    3.) After confirmation from Station master that this train is diverted from Bilimora to Marwar jn. and cancelled for Ahmedabad.
    4.) I and my family members are left the train at Valsad Station. and reached to Ahmedabad by Taxi (by Road).
    5.) I was file TDR for vide Ref No.[protected] on 28-Aug-24 10:43Am just after Left the Train at Valsad Station.
    6.) TDR Status is showing as : EDR Repudiate . we do not get any refund till date .
    7.) Facing so much difficulty due to train diverted and not reaching at our destination.
    8.) More than double of Train ticket expenses was bear to reach at my destination by Road.

      I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration regarding the recent ticket refund request I filed for PNR Number [protected] . Despite the train being delayed by a substantial three hours, my Ticket Deposit Receipt (TDR) was unjustly rejected.

      I filed the TDR with a legitimate reason, "Train Late More Than Three Hours, " along with the fact that I did not travel due to the unreasonable delay. However, I was shocked to receive a rejection notice citing the reason as "Invalid TDR Timestamp: DELAY."
      I would like to bring to your attention that the delay of the train was well-documented and widely acknowledged by fellow passengers and railway staff. This delay caused significant inconvenience and disruption to my travel plans, forcing me to abandon the trip altogether. Given the circumstances, I find it extremely unfair and frustrating that my refund request was rejected without proper consideration.

      I kindly request a thorough review of my case and a resolution that aligns with the Indian Railways Refund Rules, as stated in the document at https://contents.irctc.co.in/en/Refundrule2015.pdf.           There are in total 2 tickets with PNR [protected] and [protected] with total 7 passengers travelling from New Delhi (NDLS) to SHMATA VD KATRA (SVDK) on the 1st of August 2024 on Vande Bharat train no. 22439. The train Vande Bharat was converted by the Railway to Tejas. We had filed TDR on the 2nd of August 2024. The TDR was reported by your website as EDR Repudiate.

          Are we not entitled for the refund of the fare difference between Vande Bharat and Tejas ?? Please advise. Thanks.

              Hi support team,
              I have booked a ticket from ANVT to STP (MFP Summer SPL - 05220) and date of journey was 26 May 2024.
              For reason train delayed more than 3 hours and the passenger has not traveled, i filled the TDR.
              For the same in IRCTC against my ticket and the status was turned to CR registered, but the amount was not refunded yet.
              I am not sure what else i might be missing to get amount refunded.
              Please let me know what i can do further or else you can drop a mail to [protected]@gmail.com

                A total amount of Rs.4100/- was deposited into the IRCTC E-wallet on 17th-Aug-2024 with Order IDs [[protected], [protected]] & UPI Ref No.[T2408170934577240965144, T2408170938587542147249].

                This particular transactions is showing 'Failed' in IRCTC statement but the amount was debited from my bank account. Copies of the transactions proofs were attached below. Please advice about the procedure.

                Kindly let me know what are the further steps.

                  Mobile number registered to a different account

                  I have been trying to resolve an issue with my IRCTC account which is registered and linked to my personal email ID [[protected]@gmail.com]. Whenever I try to login it asks me to verify my phone number but the number displayed is a random number that is not mine. In fact, when I tried to contact the person to whom the number belongs, I realized that the mobile number is not even in service anymore. Then, when I try to link my Airtel prepaid mobile...

                  I booked a ticket from new delhi to buxar and the departure time of my train was 1:20 pm but then it get rescheduled to 5:30 pm so i waited for few hours but then it again gets rescheduled to 9:20 pm then i call to customer support of irctc they told me to file tdr so i filled a tdr against my ticket { pnr :- [protected] } . i filled tdr on 17th of july around 6 pm and now its 1st august and i stll didnt got my refund yet, whenever i call to customer support regarding my tdr status they say they cant do anything its on process

                    I have booked a retirement room No.12 for stay at Renigunta (RU) on 27.4.24 for stay from 29.7.24-6 am to 30.7.24-6 AM and paid Rs.404.
                    (1)ID No.[protected]l, Ref.No.RURR2918746, Transaction ID : [protected] Arrived Renigunta station on 29.7.24 by train No.
                    (2)Again on the same day I have also booked room No.12 for stay from 30.7.24-6 am to 30.7.24-6 pm. ID No.[protected]l,

                    The details of my travel are:
                    (1) 28.7.24 Train No.12797 Venkatadri from KCG to TPTY - PNR No.[protected] Reached RU 29.7.24 at 6.43
                    (2) 30.7.24 Train No.16054 TPTY-MAS; RU TO Tiruthani PNR [protected]
                    (3) 30.7.24 Train no.16053 MAS - TPTY ; Tiruthani to RU PNR [protected]
                    (4) 30.7.24 train No.12733 CTR to SC : RU to SC PNR [protected]
                    Accordingly I submitted the allotment of rooms for 2 days and the details of my bookings are noted in the Register available in the Renigunta Rly station.
                    To my surprise on the second day i.e. 30.7.24 the woman attendant came to my room and asked to vacate the room as somebody has booked the same
                    room No.12. I explained the details that lady attendant but she said that the concerned officer (TTE Mr.Sudhakar, who is sitting at Tirupathi) informed her
                    and also me that my boked room was cancelled. But I did not receive any cancellation order. I donot know the reasons for cancellation. In fact the another person asked me to stay for few hours in the room, but the woman attendant did not accept the request. With tears, I had to vacate the room and I kept the baggage in the cloak room till evening and sit in the plat form. This is very ridiculous action of the IRTC tourism. How can they book the same room, when I booked the room no.12 on 28.4.24, well in advance.
                    I have been travelling and staying in RU Rly station no.of times earlier but never had a such worst situation.
                    I request the Railway authorities and inquire the case and let me know the reply early to enable me to take further action in the matter.

                      Hello,

                      I hope you are doing well. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction regarding the repudiation of a TDR Request filed on July 16, 2024.

                      I had booked a waitlisted ticket through MakeMyTrip, and after chart preparation, the ticket still showed as RAC. According to the railway refund rules, refund of RAC tickets will only be processed if the ticket is cancelled / TDR Request is filed upto thirty minutes before the scheduled departure of the train. I was unable to cancel my ticket and hence I filed a TDR request for my ticket well before thirty minutes before the scheduled departure of the train (0:33 hours, scheduled departure was at 3:10 am).

                      The TDR request showed as repudiated. In accordance with the Railway Refund Rules, I believe I am eligible for a refund. I am sharing my ticket details and other relevant documents. Please look into this issue as soon as possible. I hope this gets resolved soon.

                          1) Booking ticket for 9th Nov 2024 on 12th July 2024.
                          2) First two times it took me to enter passenger details and from their unable to proceed further showing error "Unable to perform Transaction. Please try later."
                          3) i login again in IRCTC Site and now in place of seat details of selected train (12222) class - 1A it is showing me "Unable to perform Transaction. Please try later."
                          4) it is a JOKE you people are play with normal passenger, by giving preference to Agents even for 120 Days ticket booking window?

                            I have travelled in TEJAS EXPRESS(20502) on 29 may 2024 from Delhi (anand vihar terminal) to Agartala which gets shortly terminated in Guwati due to bad weather conditions and land slide in region after guwati. so as get the refund of journey guwati to agatala which we have not travelled we fill a
                            TDR which get repudiated with the following reason.
                            NO EDR HAS BEEN FED AGAINST THE PARTICULAR PNR AS PARTY HAS TRAVELLED. The TDR refund case was registered with PNR no. [protected].

                            Requesting the refund to be approved and credited.

                                Payment deducted while booking the ticket but status showing Not booked

                                I booked a ticket from Etawah to Lucknow by Shatabdi for June 11th. The ticket was booked on June 7th. The payment got deducted from my account but the status on the transaction is showing 'NOT BOOKED'. The detail shown on the ticket is

Since morning ac is not working. Suffocating in coach with filled passengers. Made complaint to the concern person but no use.
