[Resolved]  Irctc — Refund of Tickets

Dear Sir/madam

I had booked the following 2 tickets from Secunderabad to visakhapatnam by tatkal on 25-june- 2012 for the following reason:-


I had initially booked by
train no:12806 (Janmabhoomi exp),
PNR no: [protected] ,
ACC-
doj:26/6/2012,
( seat no:43)

However the amount got debited immediately , but ticket was not generated. Neither there was sms confirmation nor email was sent. Infact, i am getting email today for this. ( seat no:43)

Then, since time is running out and was deparate to get the ticket on the same train, i requested my sister in law to do the booking as my system was slow from her ID and got ticket booked with

subsequently i called IRCTC on phone immediately, there was none to help and was advised by customer care to talk to Ticket Examiner on the train or give the ticket to some one and take money.

In good faith , i asked TT to help, who washed off his hands, saying he cannot do such thing. I now have teh following to ask, why would i make 2 bookings for teh same train and same date and class. I have seen subsequently , railways alloted that berth to some one else . Hence, my request is since the seat to new passenger and railway got 2 ticket fare for teh same seat. I request to you to kindly refund 1 ticket fare in good faith, i have already paid excess money by way of tatkal and there was no way i could have got refund through my user account.
Appreciate your earliest help in this regard.

Railways have washed off their hands in this case and made money two times for 1 ticket/seat

To whom so ever it may concern,

This mail is in regards to two tickets booked which I have booked on 6-Nov-2009 for the journey on 16-Dec-09 . But till the date of journey onIy one ticket out of two was confirmed. While talking to IRCTC Customer Care Executive I came to know that to claim refund of one ticket I need to undergo their TDR process and by 90 days I will get the refund.

I have done the process advise by CCE (IRCTC) but till date I have not received the refund it is almost 100 days. Also I have complain them via phones and email but no reply was given.

This is to inform you that I Jai Prakash Chaubey was being being booked ticket fromTata to Renukut(Train no.8101) on dated 05 Aug 2010 and other ticket Renukut to Tata (Train No.-8102)on dated 06 Aug 2010 But during transaction my transaction did not complete and reduct Rs 301.00 in first case and in second case Rs 226.00 without book ticket. These ticket had been boocked from different user id.I am giving my transaction informatin (05 Aug 2010 POS PRCH[protected],[protected] and 06 Aug 2010 POS PRCH[protected] [protected].
There for irequest to you please refund my amount shortly.

these were cancelled and not refunded...
sir,
i have booked two tickets through irctc website and later cancelled it on 16th august2014. The refund date for those tickets were listed as 18th august2014 on my irctc account but till now i haven't received any refund in my bank account.Inspite of repeated calls to the irctc customer care I haven't received any positive response.So, please find a solution to this as the ticket refund amount is 2620 rupees.The details of the transaction are provided below:

I had booked Rajdhani train from Ernavalam(ERS) to Vadodara Station(BRC) on[protected], but due to the Gujjar protests in Rajasthan the trains were getting diverted from Panvel and were not touching Gujarat. I had filed a TDR for the same but only got half of the ticket amount .The ticket amount in all cost me 10020 and i was only refunded 4960, i.e half of the amount.
We have booked a ticket in train no. 08798 durg premium sp from new delhi to raipur for dated 24th april 2014 (pnr no.[protected]). in this train tickets are booked only e-tickets. and once booked tickets can't cancelled the tickets. in meantime railway cancelled this train train due ti insufficient booking. and a new are published in naiduniya daily news paper this train cancelled due to insufficient booking and refund directly in the concering bank a/c.
it is comlete liabilities of IRCTC to refund immediately because they withdraw the service.
kindly take the appropiate action and refund the amount in my account with @24% interest
