[Resolved] IRCTCs e-Ticketing Service — Refund of Money for non confirmed Tickets | |||
Sir, I Purchased Waitlisted e-ticket For three persons on 14th December 2009 thru online IRCTCs e-Ticketing Service for coming from New Delhi to Asansol Jn by Sealdah Rajdhani ,Train No.2314 on 31st December 2009(date of Journey).Deatils are given below Transaction ID:[protected] PNR No. [protected] Class:3A Till 31 st december 2009 ,only one ticket got confirmed.we all 3 persons came to Railway Station, thinking that other 2 tickets may get confirmed but till the departure of the train those two tickets remained wait listed.so only I could perform the journey and i had to send back the other two persons home.After reaching Asansol , i wrote to IRCTC for refund of money.They replied that the money can not be refunded. I again wrote to them but neither they are refunding the money of Two tickets nor replying. Was this information helpful? | |||

I booked e-ticket bearing PNR no.[protected] and Transaction Id [protected] from Lucknow to Guwahati on[protected] . I have not got reservation due to rush in train, after preparing chart my current status was wait listed 06. I tried through e-cancellation but failed . Please arrange to refund the amount, and the inform the same to this e-mail address

Dear Sir,with reference to PNR no.[protected], I want to inform you that till last minute in the railway reservation chart displayed out of 3 tickets of A R SINGH,Sushma singh and uma rani Singh ,only one ticket of A R SINGH was confirmed.I had to send back my wife Sushma singh and mother Uma rani singh from New delhi Railway Station.only I could travel on that day causing lot of problems to them in reaching home. How Railways can say that Refund is not admissble.
Therefore you are requested to refund money of two tickets at the earliest without any further delay.
Thanking you and awaiting immediate transfer of money in my account.
