[Resolved]  Irda — Fake bonus calls

I am getting continuously getting call from IRDA Hyderabad -[protected] Mr Anil Sharma/ Aman Agnothri regarding additional bonus on my existing policy with LIC. Asking for join Davis club membership by 25, 000/- really surprise these kind of calls for misguiding people .

I also got the same call from +[protected] saying calling from IRDA and u have bonus on your existing policy i[censored] want to withdraw it you need to take a policy from reliance and need to provide check of 20000 and one canceled check.
I asked him to drop me a mail from your official id with all the details.

IRDA need to take action against these fake peoples.

i received a phone call of mr sharma from irda office with a mobile no [protected] regarding that he make a dd in my favour of rs. 145351/- which is lying in my account as a additiona bonous. of my lic policies.so please clarify it. mukul [protected] hyderabad

I got a call from a lady posing as Nira Roy from IRDA from mobile no. [protected]. She states that one of my LIC maturity benefit is being passed to Neeraj Sharma and this is as per instruction, which is undoubtedly false.. This call from her is call for authentication.

I also received a similar call from the number [protected]. The person claimed to be from IRDA and said that he is making an insurance verification call. He asked me whether I have received any bonus or gift like laptop, sunglasses, wallets etc. When I said no and I don't even expect it the person said you must get it. I became suspicious and put the phone down. Pl beware of such fraudulent tricks being adopted by crooks.

I am getting similar fake bonus calls from various agents from Noida and other places asking me that you have lost the bonus and we will help you to get a bonus . You have to pay Rs. 20000 or so which will be refunded after 20 days along with your bonus. I get similar calls saying the caller is a manager and calling from IRDA Mumbai office. They have received my complaint about my insurance policy and they can help me for canceling my policy and getting my amount back with interest. I doubt about all these fake calls. Please ignore such calls. Where should one complaint about these callers?

IRDA — Fraud IRDA call

Please be aware of these cheats... Today I also got a call from fake IRDA Rakesh Bajaj-[protected] / Ritu Sharma- [protected] / Manju Arora - [protected] and one more # [protected].

Told me to take a Royal Club memebership of 38 k, to get that claim (1.75 lacs)

I Got Call from Fake IRDA person saying he is government official and help to clear bonus which pending in our name...first time he called i believe its true then the way he was speaking and his language I got doubt...he was asking me to give LIC insurance number...I said i can give you after 2 hours..mean while I googled about these types of calls and saved my self...when he called next time I told him that I have given police complaint and your call is tapped...then he was telling that even if you give complaint to CBI also nothing will happen...
This type of daring people and our system is like nobody can stop these people...
IRDA and LIC or our useless government should take necessary action on these types fraudulent people..

my mother got calls from one bhaskar khanna amit rawat riddhi bharadwaj about LIC bonus on her policies in the month of may as her agent who died didnt claim bonus . they asked her to invest in policies for a leading insurance company inorder to claim bonus of LIC . my mother kept investing a amount of 3.25lacs in different policies of the insurance company inorder to claim the LIC Bonus of 12lacs, they gave us a date of january 18th when our money will b credited and our policies bought for claiming d bonus will b cancelled automatically when I intervened inbetween on january 18th to send them the copy of cheques issued in our name and the receipt of the cancelled policies they stopped answering and we soon realised it was all fake calls but it was too late. these got LIC data of all lic members and still fooling people . their nos are as below [protected]

FINALLY SHE TRANSFERRED THE CALL TO OTHER PERSON IN WHICH I UNDERSTAND HE IS NOT PROFESSIONAL AND IN BETWEEN I IMMEDIATELY GOOGLED AND UNDERSTAND IT IS A FAKE CALL. BE AWERE FRIENDS THIS IS SCAM THEY WILL ASK YOUR BANK ACCOUNT NO AND LIC POLICY NO AND DO THE SCAM BE AWARE OF THAT.

I got call from a person naming Anil Sharma contact no. [protected], and today again I got a call with same number but name was Ashwani Agnihotri from Hyderabad, IRDA Headoffice and all those about bonus from LIC policies.


I request IRDA authorities to check these kind of fake calls and aware the people

I got similar calls today 09th April 2014 from IRDA (Delhi & Hyderabad office) regarding
Scholarship (1.87L & 2.86L), but you don't have to pay or invest any amount regarding this

She says also Mr. Niraj Varma is the authorised person to redeem your scholarship Amount on behalf on you and she added one more we sent a letter of intimation for this regarding to verifying your file by us.She trying to confirm me to cancel the file which issued to you by Government of India..

call nos are -

She mentioned so many times name of mr. niraj varma who authorised on behalf you and he claim that amount.

All are fraud persons & calling many times from last years to many peoples.
what our government & police doing??? They should take strong action against such peoples/ groups.

Please aware from this all fake calls or offers..

Today I got the similar call with person telling that he is from HDFC Life and I have a bonus amount of Rs. 27960/- against my insurance policy with HDFC life. He said we have to deposit 20000/- as a security amount which will be refunded in 15 days. I thought this to be true but it is learned that we have to be double sure before giving money to anybody for strange reasons. I told him to call me after 2 hrs. Meantime I called neares hdfc life branch manager, he said there is no things like these. This is surely a fraud call. I again tried to test him, and received his call (exactly after 2 hrs ;) ). I asked him to send me an email and other details about this call. He said we are not allowed to send out emails. Then I asked that your own hdfc manager (whom I called earlier) doesn't know abt this. He said, we are not disclosing this to any branches and employees (agent in their language ) do fraud and take out their commission. So you urself have to deposit the check and all.. He told me the procedure to courier also if possible. He sent me an address which I searched on map with hdfc, it was obviously non-existent. He again called me and told me that If I dont believe in him, he will forward that call to his head manager and mimiced that he is forwarding it. (No forward tone, nothing... ;) ). His manager, talking like he is real manager, with all my details already known to him. He explained me why they are doing this for hdfc banks benifit nd all those . I humbly replied to him that I will call back them. Now, I am 99% convinced about the fakeness of this call found this link. But soon received another call from him, "what have u decided sir?" . I thought, nobody offers you money with this enthusiasm and told him. "I am going to complaint." He said, "Sir, I[censored] r not interested, don't come back again complaining that we didn't intimate you about this bonus." and disconnected immediately.

People, don't get into such troubles and be alert!!

Even I got similar call today. Person by name Vinod Mehra stated talking to me as if he is from IRDA. He asked me to take policy far payment of Rs 20, 000 far providing codes.This amount was invested. They have been cheating customers.This is to request you that IRDA/TRAI/POLICE should investigate and take strong action against these people.

Between Jan and March, I have purchased policies for over two lakhs rupees as per their advice. After that, whenever I contact them they give a lame excuse, or transfer the call to other department.
Now it is more than two months and they do not take my calls from my mob, if called from some other phone they say to wait for another week.
Checked on the internet at LIC bhaskerkhanna this is the LIC person’s name with whom I am dealing with and was surprised to find that he has cheated many more senior citizens from out of Delhi.
Now I am stuck up with these useless policies, I have tried to contact the insurance companies but they refuse to cancel them and pay the refund after deducting cancelling charges.
This is to inform all senior citizens, if you do receive, any such bogus calls do not fall in to their trap.

Future Generali Price Rs. 70, 090 (Seventy thousand and ninety only) this policy is on my daughter’s name Miss Rachel Richard D’Souza age 27 years DOB[protected], policy No. 01207857 Customer id[protected] dated[protected]

Reliance Life Insurance Price Rs. 75, 000 (Seventy five thousand only) This policy was recommended to open, but I found out that this is a bogus claim from the net.

Today I got call from person claiming is from IRDA customer relationship and complain dept. This call was from Delhi mobile no - +91 [protected].

Two different person called me saying that you have unclaimed bonus for your HDFC policy of amount Rs 175600/- and for processing of this bonus I need to submit few documents and cheque of Rs 49999/- by today. I believe this fake and fraud.

I received a call from [protected] and the person's name was Rahul Bhardwaj claiming to be calling from life insurance company, Delhi. He wanted my LIC number and the policy start date. When I cross questioned him, he was confident enough to reveal my full name and date of birth, my agent code number etc. I didn't give him my policy number and have asked him to call me tomorrow.
This seems very deceptive. Please look into this matter ASAP.

I got a similar call today from this number - [protected], offering me a "bonus" and "agent commission" on a Met life policy that I have surrendered last year. Initially, it looked like a call from IRDA but as the conversation progressed it was getting clear it was a scam call. When I began asking probing questions, the caller hung up. The person claimed to call from "Fund recovery department of India", a section of IRDA. Since this is the first time I am getting such a call, it took some time to see through the deceit.
