I GOT MY NEW WAGON R LXI ON 18TH MARCH 2010 & AS IT WAS MY FIRST CAR I DID NOT KNEW TO CHECK MY WHOLE CAR BEFORE DELIEVERY & NEITHER THEY GIVE ME P.D.I.(PRE DELEIVERY INSPECTION) AS THE COMPANY CLAIM THAT THEY GIVE IT TO EVERYONE BEFORE DELIVERY.
THE NEXT DAY WHEN I SWITCHED ON THE A.C. IT WAS NOT WORKING & I CALLED THE DEALER THAT IT IS NOT WORKING THEY SAID ME TO COME UP TOMORROW THAT IS SAT, 20MAR SO THAT THEY CAN CHECK UP.
I WENT TO THEM NEXT DAY & FROM SERVICE DEPTT. ONE MECHANIC CAME & CHECK & SAID THAT IT DOES NOT HAVE A.C. GAS SO HE TOLD ME TO COME ON MONDAY & THEN WE WILL CHECK & KEEP IT FOR FULL DAY.
I HAD GONE TO DEALER ON WEDNESDAY GAVE MY CAR FOR CHECK-UP.
& THEY GAVE ME CAR IN EVENING WITH MY A.C. WORKING
I ASKED THE GENERAL MANAGER HOW COULD THEY DELIVERED A FAULTY CAR & THEY SAID MAY BE ITS A MANUFACTURING DEFECT.
I GOT SUSPICIOUS & KNEW SOMETHING WAS FISHY SO I CALLED THE SERVICE SUPERVISOR TO TELL ME WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED.
I TOLD HIM I WILL KEEP YOUR NAME DISCLOSED HE TOLD ME GENERAL MANAGER SALES ALREADY KNEW ABOUT THE FAULT & THAT CAR WAS STRANDED IN THE DEALERS PREMISES FOR MANY DAYS.
AS AN AMATEUR I DO NOT KNOW WHAT STEP TO TAKE SO I JUST GOOGLED INDIAN CONSUMER FORUM AND NOW SUBMITTING IT..............
