[Resolved]  kinetic nova — non availability of spare parts

Sir, I, kunal R. mayekar, having Kinetic Nova scooter since 2003, which is purchased & maintained at MOHOL AUTO from Vasai, Dist: Thana,
Since last 3-manth im suffering with starting problem but inspite of spending lots of amount at MOHOL AUTO there is no improvement observed, after two months there technician adviced me to chang the CARBORATOR. im ready to change to change the same but CARBORATOR is not available at service centre and they are asking about advance for the same. service centre back up Quality is very very poor there is no proper technician to guide or for servicing, to an addition account and other entire staff is very Arrogent.( e.g. Mr. Joshi- Accountant and Mr. Salim- Mechanic)
I, here by request you to kindly do the needful. ASAP.

Dear Sir, I, under sign Mr. kunal R. Mayekar, At-Post Umella Village, Tal- Vasa, Dist - Thana Pin- 401202. purchased kinetic nova scooter in 2003 from M/S MOHOL AUTO AGENCIES, parnak vasai, janki talkies, Since im maintaining my vehical from mohol auto, but with deep regrette i hava to say that the Quality of servicing, back up, feed back and over all responce is very very poor in addition to that staff is arrogant and uneducated.
Since last three month im suffering with starting problem and after spending lot of amount on maintainance they told me change to CARBORATOR, when i ask them to change the same they ask me advance to procure the part. because part is not available with them. and it will take another one month to made available after advance payment.
Please do help me immediately. waiting for your reply.

Yes absolutely.. I agree with you as I share the same experience! I also own a Kinetic Nova. Such companies should never exist! Thank god, the company is taken over by Mahindra. You can replace the carborator with a Hero Honda Splendor Carborator or probably Bajaj Discover(100cc) Carborator.

sir, I have Kenitic VOVA-135CC scooter . I am facing somany problem daily while starting because it's self starter is not working and kick starting is very problemetic and pain full .It's kick gear big size teeth is damage is not available in market.please solve my problem.I have purchase this vehical from Bharuch, Gujarat.your show room is closed.

This company Kinetic Engineering was a cheater.. They conned people. I have suffered mental harassment as well as agony since the spares have not been available from day one.
The owners should be made liable to pay the money back to the customers with Interest.

I am having a Kinetic Nova 135CC Scooter Model 2005. Till date I have spent about 20, 000/- on its maintenance and spare parts. The major problems I have been facing are Self starting, Kick starting is very problematic, Last time starter motor replaced and just after running 30 Kms it got burned and again placed another one. Now I have problem with Ball Erazer (Cone set). The parts is not available. Sofar I have been getting my service/maintenance done from the dealer/service centre GRANT MOTORS, Adoor, Pathanamthitta - District, Kerala Phone No.[protected] from where I have bot this vehicle.

I am fed up with this vehicle. Kindly help me immediately.

Years ago, I had a chance to read a featured interview in one famous women's magazine of Kerala (Vanitha). Interview was with one lady who has been taken charge as Managing Director of Kinetic Motors. She had very broad visions about Kinetic Motors. I was very impressed by reading that article and felt respect for the lady. Today, as a distressed and humiliated owner of one Kinetic Nova, I have all the right to spit on that lady's face if she comes in front of me. She has tried almost all models of two wheelers before throwing her father's proud venture into a bloody hole. KInetic Boss, Flyte and Nova are some of the examples for her crude ignorance in automotive field. Once again, women prove that they are better managers for their own homes only (sorry for the exceptional ladies). I am from Kerala and there was one time, if one lady is driving one two wheeler that will be Kinetic Honda and the vehicle was also excellent in technology. But alas, the lady came... Honda has detached themselves from Kinetic and made their own two wheeler and what a vehicle(Honda Activa) really that is technology and that is management. If that lady is reading this, I would like to request her to become a servant for some years in Honda Activa MDs home. Atleast may be she will get some ideas. I have many more things to say.. but the words coming out due to my fury will be bad . So byee... (sorry if the lady has already committed suicide)

Kinetic nova is a piece of , and kinetic company is the same too. They don't have spares available, their maintenance staff is uneducated and rude. They don't know nothing about the vehicle. I wonder how kinetic was so successful in all these years. These guys are good for nothing. There is not a single day i have regretted for buying this crap since 2003. Even the brand new vehicle does not start in the morning. I have hurt myself several times trying to start NOVA. Never ever buy kinetic even though it is taken over by mahindra.

It is true Kinetic Nova 115 is hard to start, and cannot be fixed, live with it. The brakes are weak, suspension not that great, but for the price not that bad. If you maintain it, should run 50, 000 km's no problems, I have 39, 000 km's, no problems, replaced 1 tire, 1 spark plug only

screw you guys, even i own a kinetic nova 135 cc. the only problem i am suffering from is the pick up. other than that this vehicle is awesome. its better than activa . but i do say that the aerodynamics are totally wrong, but still its reaches the speed of 100 and above.

The Nova is a good vehicle designed with women in mind with lot of boot space and good pickup. But unfortunately the finish is poor compared to Honda, I use both these vehicles; the Japanese technology is a marvel.The brake system is not stable. The switches on the handle lack durability and the electrical and lights systems need improvement. Now the most worrying problem is the lack of spare parts. There is no solution on the horizon other than send the "Scooter of the year" to scrap!! Kinetic Engineering has lost its credibility. Will they show the courtesy to provide essential spares for this machine or have they closed down?

All the above problems holds good with my situation. I also own a KINETIC NOVA 135CC (aahoo!!!). 2004. I Bought this vehicle comparing with HONDA ACTIVA, Coz comparitively, it's features were good, with spacious leg room, spacious dicky box, and night lamp in the dicky box, Mobile charger in the front, etc., ,

After wards only i came to know it has problem with self starter, hard kicker, nothing was right!! Spares not availabel in the whole Bangalore Market. Nobody is taking the vehicle!! Since past 2 years it is idle. There is no way to get is repaired. I do not find any word in the dictionery to blame KINETIC ENGINEERING. My entire amount of 55000/- to 60000/- coz I got it from ICICI Bank loan, gone. In 2004 this amount was as big as 4 lakh. I am planning to scarp the vehicle. I also got the quotation from a scrap dealer. after weighing all, he estimated for about 1000/-rs and Max 1300/-!!! WHAT A FOOL I AM!! KINETIC MOTORS CHEATED ME!!!
