I purchased a flat in L&T South City based on the false promisses by their Marketing team and brochure that showed a 12 acre park and huge road as part of property. The sale deed also contained 34 acre land, including the park as South City. Now, BBMP, BDA claim that this land was relenquished to them in 1996. How a company can cheat even on a registered document about the land that never was part? The surprise is a company as big as L&T does not even have maintenance accounts available for scrutiny. The maintenance of the premises is sub-standard and construction filthy (may be the company itself has mediocre staff, so leave it out). I bought in this gated community only for security and lung space that the huge open land provided. Now, both are gone as the compound walls have been bulldozed down by BBMP and no lung space also as the 12 acre park is now a BBMP office. Very sad that a reputed (?) company like L&T also turned out to be as cheats as local goons and land mafia. I feel unfortunate and helpless with the highhandedness and utter disrespect to their customers that L&T is showing. I demand a responsible solution from L&T to the crime they have commited and worthty to be booked under law (if they manage not to pay bribes and get away).

I bring your kind attention that I served in Larsen &Toubro Ltd(L&T) for three years.The resignation letter had been given by me on 3rd Feb2011 and also I got the site clearance where I was working.But still now I have not my PF amount.When I am asking the HR manager about my PF amount , he is demanding three months basic salary amount of my salary.


Please suggest me what to do.

This is A.K.Nayak here. I was working in L & T ECC division in Ahemedabad region from 2003 to 2005 as a departmental staff in Safety dept. (SSPL pipe line project,Zinc Expansion Project)

I have left the job since 2005. In July 2009 I had applied to withdraw my PF amount through L & T Ahemedabad regional office. In 21st Jan;10 when I written him a mail regarding the status of my PF. They told two docs are not submitted, send it to us.After sending this two docs againg I written mail to L & T office regarding the status(22/01/10). They told me we will submit it on Mar 10.Today (3/3/10) when I asked regarding the status now they are saying PF office is not accpting the PF form.

My PF A/C no-GJ/26388/54632.

Kindly help me what to do.

I retired from Larsen & Toubro Mumbai-72 , on[protected]. I requested to avail this facility through SBI Ambala Cantt-133001, Haryana. The pension paper kit No. HR/pension/MH/424/8238 was forwarded to SRO-EPF Office KARNAL in the month of october 2009. Karnal office is mum on the issue.
Now there is no response from Karnal office to start pension

Refund ffor the assessment year 2008-09

Auto Rickshaw meter showing faulty reading
Dear Sir/Madam,

This is regarding an auto rickshaw which showed faulty reading on its meter.

I took an auto rickshaw when i was coming back home which is at Akashwani Colony (near Malwani Church) from Malad Station (W).When i reached my destination i was shocked and amazed to see the reading in the meter as 6.30 which amounts to Rs. 62 where as in reality it costs around Rs 42 to Rs 45 the max. I knew reason of this faulty meter reading. This happened because in meter there are three numbers (0,1 & 2) which are missing literely. I didn't noticed this initialy. When I asked the driver also to justify the reading to me but instead of justifying he got offended and said that this could happens and he would not take money less Rs. 62.

I request you to please take corrective action on this rickshaw whose number is given below. Also requesting you to please keep me updated with the progress of this complaint if possible.

i had quit L&T Infotech in the USA in Dec,2007, till date i have not received the PF dues. I am given to understand that the same is presumably adjusted against my NOtice period , which is not fair from PF Rules. This cant be adjusted against any PF dues. Hence request the forum to take it up with L&T infotech to refund the same.( My ac no 720793)

He blatantly refused without even giving us a reason and told us to search for another rickshaw. But he happily agreed to take another passenger who wanted to go to a place of his liking, and sped off, leaving us stranded. The rickshaw's number was MH03 M4297. L&T is a well known Indian Brand in whole world.

All of its branches are recruiting college students as trainees for apprentiship & these students are trained under BTC (Basic Training Center) and are then sent to the respective departments.

But the managers in BTC try to harress these trainees by treating them worst than a prisoner.

I dont have words to say, but feel what they do with small students... Most of them are just 18-.

Mr. Karnik, Mr.George etc are the harrasing officers.

I have shifted from my previous organisation "Cyber Marine Knowledge Systems Ltd., C B D Belapur, Navi Mumbai" to "Larsen & Toubro Limited, Powai, Mumbai". My new organisation has sent the request to transfer PF from my old organisation in May -2007. After not receiving the transfer, Larsen & Toubro has sent a reminder letter in Feb-2009. There has been no reply from PF yet.

Docket no 92156 dated 09.5.2009 booked from Rourkela to Jamshedpur. Document contains Road permit from a very reputed PSU. As per your Kolkata office document reached Jamshedpur on 11.5.2009
But till date it was not delivered to our Jamshedpur address.

No feedback from your Rourkela office / Jamshedpur office / Kolkata office on this issue.

Kindly confir delivery status.
