There is no concept of after sales service at LG. I made a blunder by fitting my home with all LG products six years back. This year one by one starting with my DVD player I have required service and it has been an endless chase. While the company is quick to sms enquiring about service satisfaction there is no urgency in problem solving. Service centres function at whim, engineers have to tracked down like ministers -- the answer after three defunct products is that Life's Good till LG products fuction the day they require service its simpler to dump them than chase LG for after paying for the visit you will either be asked by the engineer to sell him the product as it costs more to repair -- in the case of my DVD. Or in the case of my microwave be stuck with an open machine with no sign of the engineer. With the fridge I realise that the neighbourhood mechanic is a better bet. Was this information helpful? |
