[Resolved]  LICHFL, Thanjavur — Housing Loan

Dear Sir,
I am a regular employee and presently working as Associate Professor in Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner. My total salary is about 4 lakhs (pre-revised) per annum and I have taken no loan from any of the agencies.
Recently I have purchased a plot in UIT colony in Bikaner and applied for house loan of Rs.12, 00, 000/- in LIC HFL, Bikaner on 10 Jan., 2009 for construction of a house. I preferred to take a loan from this agency as there is MoU between LIC HFL and RAU, Bikaner and secondly I was told that taking loan from this agency is convenient. Unfortunately the original patta of this plot was lost by the person from whom I purchased this plot. However, a verified copy of the patta of this plot has been issued by the Sub Registrar Office, Bikaner which is a legal document for this plot. Further, I also got this plot registered in my name. Simultaneously, I also got permission for construction of the house on this plot from UIT, Bikaner. I showed all these documents to Area Manager, LIC HFL, Bikaner Mr. Vikash Sehgal. He pointed out that original patta should have been there but suggested that a FIR in police station about the loss of the original patta may serve the purpose of mortgage to get loan. Later on FIR was lodged as per suggestion of the Area Manager. He also asked me to submit a letter from my office about regular deduction of the installments of the loan to LIC HFL. Mr. Sehgal also asked me to pledge my LIC policies if loan sanctioned, to which I agreed. I submitted all these documents and deposited Rs.1700/- as processing fee in LIC HFL for loan on 21.1.2009 (loan account No.[protected], app no.711587. After that I contacted several times Mr. Sehgal directly or through agent of LIC HFL but I do not know why my case was delayed by Mr. Sehgal. I tried to talk on his mobile but his response was not proper. Thereafter, I decided not to talk with him on this issue. I kept patience for a long time and finally on 3rd March, 2009 when I talked to my LIC HFL agent Mr. Aziz Bhati about the loan he informed me that my application for loan has not been approved and I cannot be given loan from LIC HFL. Then I talked to Mr. Sehgal and wanted to meet him in his office but he refused me to meet and suggested to collect all photo copies of documents from LIC HFL. I also requested Mr. Sehgal to give me a regret letter but he refused to give me any of letter by saying that such type of letters are not issued by this office.
I, therefore, request to kindly look into the matter and help me as it has disturbed my mental peace. Moreover, I am not able to understand why I was kept in dark for the two months, if loan was not be sanctioned. Why Mr. Sehgal asked to submit above mentioned documents and Rs.1700/- as processing fee. Besides I have deposited an amount of Rs.12, 000/- in UIT Bikaner for getting permission for construction of a house on this plot, which is also blocked.

Iam a NRI having LIC HFL loan, for these years i dont have any access to see my loan o/s, can LIC guide us where to get this info thru online to access my a/c no[protected]. this is not my first comment addressed to LIC, if still LIC cant help to settle, i will elevate this problem to higher management in LIC.

hope some body in LIC read this & settle my need.

I took loan of 3500000 lacs from LIC housing finance from Vashi branch, mumbai.
These people are real cheats. They will say lower interest rate in the beginning but those lower rates are there for FIRST THREE MONTHS of disbursement after that it will automatically shoot up by 0.5 %.
In the begnning LIC HOusing finance agent won't say that lower interest rate is valid for three months only..
Please keep urself away for such cheats...

customers should be able to check the status atleast? The website shows that this facility is available
but always comes out with errors (:

I've take over my Home Loan from HDFC to LIC Housing Finance Ltd. three months back and when i changed my Hoam Loan you was offered 8.75% and from LIC they've told another 6 months to 1 year we won't review the INTEREST rate now i've paid only 2 EMI's the third month EMI will come Autust 9th only and now with in the 3 months you've revised my INTEREST rate 8.75% to 10%. That is really unexpected then what is the point of chaning HDFC to LIC. I'm totally deappointed with your approch and begining time promissing one thing and after took the loan your approch is different.

Kindly sort out the issue other wise i'll planing to change my loan.

I dont understand why the LICHFL is not able to provide online facilities. I was transfered from Baroda to Delhi, How can I deposit the installment
My Hoursing Loan Account – 10063976 .

I had taken the loan of Rs.5, 00, 000/- ( Rs. Five Lakhs Only ) in 1998 and payment mode was through ECS from State Bank of Hyderabad as during the said period, I got Transferred to other department and as this department is not having an Bank Account with SBH and are running only ICICI Bank., In the Light I had transferred my Salary Account to ICICI Bank, And got my Salary Account Transferred to ICICI Bank. And intimation to LICHF was already given well in time .

Initially I was depositing the Cash in SBH so as to clear ECS Payments of LICHF Limited but due to heavy responsibility, could not deposit the Cash in time., Due to which I was forced to intimate LIC-HF accordingly regarding my New Bank Account in Jan2010, and later in Feb2010, Mid one employee of LTCHF contacted me and intimate me that ECS Payment procedure which they WOULD HAVE intimated at the time of first letter which I had given at the time when I open the account with ICICI anyhow I had done accordingly and given a letter to there Branch on 22.03.2010, along with my due Payment cheque which was cleared well in time. further recovery had been done from my new account which I had paid as Cash along with the Penal Interest as per LICHF Policy.

I sent regret letter for delay and assure that as my ECS payment is with my new salary A/C with ICICI Ltd no future payment will be delayed. Further I Regret for the delay cause because of my transfer to other department and change in salary account and delay for the payment.

Moreover I send all the proof of my version with the hope that this will meet the require reason for delay of payment.

But after all this they sent my name in CIBIL for non paymnet of installment which is toally wrong as 5-lakh loan is backed by registry of Rs-14lakhs and market value
of 40lakhs . How they can set my name in cibil for 2-3 installent for which well in advance I had intimated more over now 6 unintrupped ionstallment had gone but still nem is in cibil why.

Moreover they had not given any copy of registry after repeated request no on cares for customer in LICHF.

Further Interest rate told was changed after 2-3 months after loan .

LICHF LOAN MAY BE AVOIDED TOTALLY ONCE TRAPPED WILL FACE THE PROBLEM.

BEWARE WHILE TAKING LOAN FROM LICHF.

This is very true...
I am also gone through the same situation.
they hide their customer with unexpected increase in interest rate after just a couple months the loan get disbursed.
Its better not to apply loan in LIC.
Those are real cheater !

You may go with SBI/HDFC/ICICI

My loan account no is [protected], i being registed on LICHFL on line facility but presently i am unable to open my account. when i tried to open it it displays a message that ur email id is not registed what can i do?
