[Resolved] Mahanagar Gas Limited — incorrect billing | |||
My previous bill dated 16/11/2012 showed the meter reading as 69 (A) while the reading was 34!!! My current bill dated 16/01/2013 showed the meter reading as 106 while the reading as of 23/01/2013 is 43 as attached the photograph. Your tele customer care says that the person MGL came to my house to read the bill and based on that the bill has been prepared, in fact no one came to read the meter till now!!! For my previous bill too I had lodged the complaint but it has been unresolved till now. I demand the probe into the matter and correct the billing asap and including satisfactory response on the matter within 72 hours, otherwise I will not be hesitant to go to CONSUMER COURT on the ground of fraudulent billing, malpractice and misrepresentation of the facts over the tele customer care.
