[Resolved]  MAHINDRA XYLO E8 — Problems regarding vehicle performance

Hi,

I had purchased a Mahindra Xylo E8 version through SKS automobiles Bangalore in July 2009, and ever since then been facing innumerable issues with regard to the performance of the vehicle.

There are problems with the Engine and a clear humming noise can be always heard inside the vehicle whenever the vehicle is driven with all window panes closed.

The doors and sun films were not fitted properly during delivery itself and I had been repeatedly asking for rectification after which the sun films were replaced in January, with the door problem still left untouched.

Moreover gears and clutch levers are also posing a lot of problems and this has also been overlooked by the Mahindra service agency.

I have also been facing issues with the focus light alignment and travel through highways has always been a discomfort.

To add on to the misery, there were some mistakes in the RC smart card and the service personal had taken it for rectification after proper acknowledgement . But now the service agency has lost the card and claims that they have not taken it.

This is only a gist of the other untold defects in the vehicle.

Within the span of exactly one year of purchase my vehicle had gone for servicing atleast 15 times and I am now worried about the resale value of the product.

I have taken up all my issues through emails and in person with all high authorities of SKS and Mahindra and have still not got even a small percentage of my problems rectified.

Each time I approach the agency or the manufacturer I only get promises that all grievances would be looked into, but it had never happened.

To post my problems through India Consumer forum is my last option and I would like to get a permanent solution atleast through this approach.

Mahindra Xylo — REGARDING CAR

I Have purchased a Xylo-E8 variant from sridurga Automobiles Delhi in May 2009 Registration no DL4C NB 3899 in the name of VIPIN
From 1st Day my complaint is regarding AC, as AC of car is not working properly ,when car is stopped at red light it working as Blower.
I have complaint on every service that doors are not properly closed and it sounds too much on running but my problems are as it is.

Actually i am supposed to Buy INNOVA but due to features I purchase top variant (E-8) MAHINDRA XYLO, now I realise that It was not a right Decision.

sevice network of Mahindra is very poor as there is only 3 service centers in delhi& Ncr for every servive I have to go Thrice & sevice centre is round 25 Kms from my res.

my complaints are

1) Air conditon cooling Pathetic
2) sears & Armrest sounds very much.
3) Doors r not closed properly & sounds very much.

My all service are on Time.
