Greetings of the day.
This is regarding the issue I am facing with my new maruti swift(KL 18 J 4345). After the first service , I started noticing the difficulty in shifting gear to reverse which is a major defect for a product which is worth almost 7 lakhs. The same was brought into notice while undergoing second service. Nothing was done during that service.
Recently the issue started poping up very frequently which is very difficult and irritating while in city traffic.so I took the vehicle to maruti popular service centre at madappally, vadakara, calicut on 6th march. After keeping the vehicle for the whole day, the answer I got from the service manager Mr Aravind is that he didn't find the defect and nothing could be done without identifying it which is very unfortunate . Mr Aravind asked us to get back to him if I notice the same defect. He did not understand the fact that we would not have taken it to him, if we did not find the fault.
Today I spoke to Mr Aravind as I noticed the same defect poping up very frequently when I went for a long drive yest. But the answer I got is shocking. He said, maruti cannot do anything regarding the same and its a common in all swift cars.
I would like to know a couple of things.
whether this is your service post buying.
Whether this defect cannot be rectified on a 7 lakhs worth vehicle.
I would like to get a reply as soon as possible as I hav already wasted a lots of time on this issue
