On 17/8/2009, I went to Marketing Times Okhla service station, with a car (Alto Lxi – DL 3CAG 5224) that was running in order, with no problem inside the car. It was just a routine servicing job, and I approached Marketing Times authorised station in good faith.

At the time of taking the car into service station, they issued me a detailed work to be done report. The car had run 35000 kilometers, and they charged Rs. 4536. In between the service, they informed me that my clutch plates and break disks are to be changed, which I refused.

At the time of the delivery of the car after the service, I realized that the pickup of the car was not proper. I was told that the clutch plates need to be changed for the pickup to improve and the security system fixed by Nippon (Maruti Genuine Accessory) was also broken. Earlier, the car had been absolutely fine, but at the time of service, they purposely spoilt the system just to extract money from my pocket. I had to pay 850 Rupees for repairing the security system which they themselves broke (Nippon 058). Additionally, the alarm system also failed, and they are demanding another 560 Rupees to fix the same.

I took the car to a local service station, and they fixed the pickup problem within 15 minutes, charging a mere 50 Rupees, by removing the moisture, apprantly left there purposefully.

I conclude that Marketing Times is a fraudulent organization, trying to fleece its clients of as much money as they possibly can. Its nothing more than a bunch of CHEATERS. General Manager Mr. Mittal sitting in the cabin refused to take any responsibility of the actions of their staff, claiming that the Quality of maruti car, and the security system was in question.

I would like to warn the general public to beware of the DACOITS.
