Maruti Swif Vdi - Immobiliser indication and starting trouble
Alok Singh Sikarwar

I own a Swift vdi diesel car purchased in 2010 Feb from Prem Motors Gwalior. Regn No of vehicle is MP 06-CA 1149. Off late -after the 27K km service, I am experiencing typical problem with the car which at times is creating embarrassing situations.
The first time I experienced the problem was 1 month ago and the incident was like this..." Morning when I inserted the key and switched to ON position all the indications in the odometer panel was on. But the immobiliser indication light which was supposed to turn off in 3 seconds did not turn off and blinking continue, when I cranked the engine, car taking self but not getting start with the immobiliser indication blinking. I switched off and then try again and again 30 times in a day but unable to start the engine . But sometime it starts automatically in single try . I was feeling very frustraid and immediately took the car to my service centre (PREM MOTORS GWALIOR,shivpuri link road) and they checked the car for 1 hour and said no major complaints can be identified. After that I was able to drive the car but problem is still same as mentioned earlier. I went again service center (PREM MOTORS,AG office gwalior) they suggest me for reset the coding of key but problem is still unidentified, if service center didn’t understand where the problem is exactly then what customer will do. I tried several times but in vain. They checked the vehicle two times and I did whatever they suggest but couldn’t identify the problem, it was only wasting of money and time.
There is no battery issue I am using new one and servicing at 25K.
Now present condition is that car is standing at my home and not started, I am not able to drive to go service center and try to call many time but they (Prem motors gwalior) didn’t respond well.
Hope this letter reaches Maruti and they come with a solution ASAP.

Regards
Alok-Singh
