A booking for Maruti Swift Dezire was done by the undersigned vide Booking Order No.9505 D 100272 dtd: September, 2009 with M/s Competent Automobile, Gurgaon, Haryana alongwith the Booking amount of Rs. 10,000/-. An assurance was given by the sales representative of M/s Competent Automobile Mr. Ashwini that the car will be supplied within 4to6 weeks from the date of booking, accordingly, after completion of 4 weeks undersigned enquired from Shri Ashwini, however, he showed his inability and said that the same will be handed-over by end of October, 2009 again on inquiry during end October, he ensured and said that positively the same will be handed-over before 15th November, 2009 and requested to wait some more time stating the reason that the supply of Swift Dezire are very less. Further again on 15th November, 2009 when Mr. Ashwini was contacted he said still the vehicles have not arrived and it may take other 15 days and promised that on 2nd December the same will be supplied. During this period many a time he was contacted but the answer was same that there is no supply of vehicles till 15th December, 2009 the supply of vehicle was not done and every time on inquiry it was informed that some more time is required. Having frustrated with the above treatment, undersigned cancelled the booking of vehicle and asked for the refund of booking amount of Rs. 10,000/-. In spite of lapses of 1½ months till date I have not received my booking amount and no interest has been shown by Mr. Ashwini for my refund.
It is needless to mention that after booking my vehicle I has disposed-off my old vehicle Maruti-800 and had to remain without vehicle for around 2½ months facing a lot of problems. The above action on the part of M/s Competent Automobile is highly objectionable and discourteous and defaming the Company like Maruti Udhyog. Till this treatment I was customer of Maruti and now I feel dejected after this treatment. I understand that Maruti Udhyog is highly customer oriented and with this complaint an early action will be taken to refund the cancellation amount and also action be initiated against the dealer.

I booked a car(wagonR lxi) with 'Auto High Tech, Kolkata' on[protected], offered them pay- order on[protected], they then said, they donot have stock now and will contact me later when they get supply from the company.on[protected] they intimated me that they cannot keep the commitment now. They are asking for pay-order and telling many stories of discomfort each one is different from others. The moral of the stories are pay Rs.11000 more and take delivery at the end of january-2009.I am using a car of their made since long and I still think it is one of the best cars.I sent a message to the company on[protected] but could not get desireable reaction till now.I now think that in Maruti-Suzuki comany commitment, values and ethics has taken a back seat.Company has lost direction-Amit Bandyopadhyay, kolkata
