Ref : Wagonr -LXI(MRD) -DOD.12.3.06 from Varun Motors(4603)Visakhapatnam.Vehicle No:AP 31AM/2126.

Purchased above said vehicle from Varun motors with 1 year extended warranty and there after all my periodical services were under going from Varun motors till date.

On 5.3.10 vehicle was given for servicing, after 2 days informed that the Head Assembly Cylinder was found crack and replaced with new. The vehicle was only 28000 km used and surprise to note that, the replacement of head assembly cylinder with charging of Rs.22,896/- against inv/no.BRO 9008728 DT 18.3.010.

when i asked how it is possible a crack on HAC in spite of my periodical checkups from them, absolutely there was no justification from them except paying my bill. And i strongly believe it is a manufacturing defect.

Therefore, bringing to your notice to look into this matter seriously investigate and see a reimbursement of my money back.

I am one of your prevailage customer since 1995, purchased Maruthi 800, Wagonr & swift and never faced a problem before.

Hope you take appropriate action on this and reimburse my amount.

    My car TN-01 AB 4033 (Swift Vxi) has been at ABT service centre, Guindy, Chennai, since 04.03.10.
    On 08.03.10 it was shifted to the body shop for some tinkering / painting & change of the rear bumper.

    a) Tinkering / Painting of rear RHS quarter panel
    b) Tinkering / Painting of rear LHS quarter panel

    I was told to come and collect my car on 19.03.10.
    When i came to collect the car on 19.03.10, i found the following problems.

    1) Paint on the seats : Front Drivers Seat and Rear Seat.
    2) Paint on the steering wheel.
    3) Rear bumper was not alligned to the body panel.
    4) Paint / Patti stains on the rear LH & RH door.
    5) Paint / Patti stains on the rear bumper.
    6) Front LHS fog lamp cover missing.
    7) Front bumper lining torn.
    8) Car had a full layer of dust on it.
    9) Paint which was scrapped off the Reah RH and LH quarter panels was all over
    the wheel rims, under the wheel cover. The car was not even dusted, forget about it being water washed.

    I was told by Mr. Ganapathi (Customer Care Manager) that the car would be ready on 20.03.10 at 2 pm.

    On my arrival at 2 pm on 20.03.10 I found the following problems.

    1) Paint on the seats - front seat and rear seat.
    2) Paint on the steering wheel.
    3) Paint / Patti stains on the rear bumper.
    4) Front fog lamp cover missing.
    5) Front bumper lining torn.
    6) Additionally I found that my front and rear seat had been torn in an attempt to get the paint off it.

    Now I would like to ask you 2 questions.
    1) Am i paying a premium and going to a dealer to have my car and me treated in this manner?
    2) Do you expect me to accept the car as it is?

    I require you to change the seat covers on my car to any one of the following options.
    1) Original seats of the Swift (Colour Black only)
    2) Leather seats in (colour Black only)

    If the paint on the steering wheel is not taken off, I will require a new steering wheel as well.

    Also, I have been informed that the poor guy who has made the mistake will have to pay for the parts.
    I would like to let u know tht i think that is very unethical and it is the responsibility of ABT and Maruti to
    train the person on how to do a good job. If he had brains enough to do what is necessary without being told,
    then he would not be working for you. He would be running his own service centre.
    It is highly unfair that ABT Maruti enjoys the benefits of the profits made, but when a loss is made due to a mistake
    it is shifted entirely to a technician who works very hard to make his money.

    I too had an almost similar experience at ABT service centre, Guindy, Chennai. I have decided never to go that service centre for any assistance again. And I also request all the readers to refrain from going there too.

      Subject :- Delivery of Swift Dzire ZXI model


      I have booked Swift Dzire Zxi model on[protected] from M/s Satya automobiles, Bilaspur, Chattisgarh state. During the time of booking, delivery time was mentioned as 2 months. Since I am working in PSU, I have given priority letter also in this regard. When I enquired about the likely date of delivery from the dealer on 27th February, I was told that he does not have any details regarding the delivery of vehicle.

      After I raised my complaint, I got the message from the dealer that the vehicle shall be dispatched on 8th March’10 and it will be delivered by 16th march. Then I closed the complaint no: [protected] based on the assurance given by Maurti representative from Raipur.

      Once again on 15th March’10 when I talked to the dealer, to my surprise I was told that vehicle is not yet dispatched and I was told that zxi model of some other color has been dispatched. I am not able to understand how many times I have to raise complaint to get my vehicle. I have raised one more complaint on 16th March’10 (Complaint no: [protected])

      Still there is no answer from the Maruti representative that when my vehicle shall be delivered. I lost my hope on maurti's customer care in resolving my issue. This is the state of the affair.
      As I am associating with Maruti since last 10 years, I know that yours is a customer friendly corporate. To maintain this, I would request you to kindly let me know the time of delivery as stipulated time of delivery as mentioned by your dealer is already over.
      I request you to instruct the responsible person to resolve my issue and deliver vehicle at the earliest.

      This is the same thing going on with us from Nainital motors Haldwani Uttrakhand. We have booked Swift Dzire vxi model. And the time was of 2 months but know its more than 3 months, and we are not yet confermed about the car.

        EXPLANATION OF ACCIDENT OF RJ14CJ3595 SWIFT DEZIRE VDI

        I sushant khandelwal was driving the car and my spouse Mrs Nikita khandelwal sitting alongside with me.We were going to JODHPUR to participate in the EPCH fair on 12th March 2010.
        We were approximately 50 kms from Jodhpur when the Accident occurred.Please note
        1.My speed was approx 90-100 kms/hr at that time.
        2.Suddenly the car starting BUBBLING from the front left side.
        3.I tried my level best to control the car but couldn’t do so and our car went upside down and skid down approx 15-20 meter and finally went down approx 5-6 feet from the elevated road I was driving
        4.Luckily me and my wife were fine after the accident
        5.WE were heading towards jodhpur but our car was faced towards reverse direction ie JAIPUR when we came out of the car.
        PLEASE NOTE
        A.It was completely due to some technical fault either in the tyre or some mechanical problem in the car.
        B.I SPECIFICALLY MENTION THAT I WAS DRIVING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD AND WAS DRIVING VERY NORMALLY WHEN THE ACCIDENT OCCURRED.
        C.The tyre had absolutely no AIR in it when we saw it after the accident.The rear left side tyre also bended a bit
        D.The tyre as explained to us SANGA AUTOMOBILE next day was not punctured
        E.We have been in touch with Mr Babu Lal GM SERVICE SANGA MARUTI who explained that he has given the tyre to MRF people who have further given a cleanchit to the tyre.I fail to understand if tyre was ok and also not punctured then how it went AIRLESS.

        I am waiting to meet the right person in MARUTI INDIA LTD.I need proper explanations and a replacement of my car as soon as possible.I shall have to move to the CONSUMER FORUM if not satisfied at the earliest.

        Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire — accidental car

        Dear Sir,

        As I am a customer of your esteemed organization and I bought Swift Dezire VDI model in Nov’10 from Pasco Gurgaon number is HR29 BF 9499 .
        And I met with an accident near to jaipur.

        And I have given my car to your Authorised dealer in Bharatpur name: TM Motors as I am working with idea cellular ltd and posted in Bharatpur(Rajasthan).

        Date to deliver my car after all repair work was given by your distributor was 31st March’11 but after this date I have visited 4 time to your authirised workshop and at every visit I mentioned few pending works .
        Even to I have made a payment of Rs 4500 and taking my car back but till date I am not satisfied with work done by TM Motors Bharatpur.

          I given my car service on 12th March 2010 under accidental insurance & service. Delivery date was on 15th March 2010..... I went on 15th to take delivery...they haven't touched my car since...No service because it was under accidental...They care about customer...[censored] they care....They care about money only...

          My Insurance passed on 16th....I called at their office & asked to check update on my car...they extended date to 18th...because some more problems occured in between

          Today(17th March, 2010) i called in their office, They eventually cut my phone 4 times...even they do not care...Then I Called AGM's office, then they started working on it..

          Just think and give your car service to Maruti.....
          Maruti's service very very bougas b'coz their engineer's very rudaly behevier and they no knowledge about car's noise.
          they told the no noice in your car but their workers are agreed that in car no 9895 wagon R is noicing at speed 80 to 100
          engneer mr. J Prakash is requred to medical check-up his "EAR" We r very Very Very unhappy with maruti suziki's attitud B'coz they filed our complained without informing me.
          we are now try to go in conzumer court in short time.

          THIS IS VERY BED FOR MARUTI SUZIKI'S REPUTATION

          I AM THE MARUTI'S CUSTMOR FROM LAST 15 YEARS

            I purchase that car from above said dealer and at present in radiator fan of car does not work it may be jammed and i have extended warrenty of my vehicle also. when i meet today to the supervisor (service)of above said delaer he said that the part do es not cover under warrenty when i saw the extended warrenty clause to him in which its clearly display that all internal electronics parts are cover under warrentty then he say that we does not cover these things. i asked only one thing that if warrentty does not work then what is the meaning of extended warrentty and the said amount rec. against that warrentty.

              Engine problem in Warranty Period

              on 25th may 2009 i purcahsed swift vxi petrol model from Premsons Motors udyog pvt ltd,Kanke road Ranchi. Today i visited the Dealer for sound problem in my car. There they said that your car have some serious problem, anyone dropped acid in radiator of the car. Car is not in properly running condition.previously one month before,the clutch plate is also replced by Delear on my own cost. I have never given my car to any garage or other service...

              Dear Sir,

              I have purchased a Wagon R car in May 2009 in the name of my son Ritin Bhandari from your dealer M/s Vipul Motors Faridabad having Regn. No. HR 29 U 6534, and serviced by the same dealer and getting good response from them.

              On 15 November 2009 Mr Brijesh came to my house saying I had come from M/s Alpha Advertising on behalf of Maruti Udyog Ltd, and they had introduced a attractive scheme for the customers, by availing the same you can get following services “at your home by qualified Maruti’s persons with your complete satisfaction in front of you only” for just Rs. 500/- with the validity of said offer for two years. To use any of the free service at your home inform on the help line no at least one day in advance and booked your vehicle to get the service.

              1) Free Car Wash four times
              2) 50% rebate on 4th paid service
              3) Free seat dry cleaning with 3rd paid service
              4) Free injector cleaning with second paid service
              5) Free wheel alignment and balancing with 1st paid service
              6) Bonus Offer – one complimentary wheel alignment and balancing
              7) Bonus Offer - seat dry cleaning

              Looking the above said offer coupon which was belonging to M/s Royal Motors, I told him that you are saying, the said offer given by Maruti Udyog and the form showing for Royal Motors what it means. He has clarified that Maruti had taken the space in Royal Motors premises on rent to perform such activities. He also showed some of the filled form residing persons in my sector in which some of them had booked their vehicle for service.

              By giving such clarifications by the representative on your behalf, I had filled the form with valid no. 0186 and paid him the fee of Rs. 500/- when I had asked the receipt for the same he had given me a photocopy of his identity card and also confirmed by a phone call on a mobile no. [protected] that my registration had been registered. Copy of the form is enclosed with coupons for your ready reference.

              Now I am bringing to your kind notice that when I had booked my car for free washing than I came to know that the said offer is belong Royal Motors not Maruti Udyog and I have to send my car to them in their work shop to get the job done, not job will be done at my home as explained by the representative. I had also explained the same to the Royal Motors but they had not given me the satisfied replied.

              I just want to bring to your notice that how I had been cheated on your behalf, and I do not know how many other are also cheated. I have lost Rs. 500/- since I getting good response from Vipul Motors and I will not going to change my dealer, please look into the matter seriously because the company like Maruti having word wide image will be spoil.

                I want to inform you that in this case ,I purchased this new WagonR LXi (Petrol) on 30-11-09 and took its delivery on 02-12-09 from Eakansh Motors, Kaithal at 6 PM (approx.) and on 03-12-09 around 11 AM, I proceeded to attend a wedding ceremony at Batala (Punjab). And moreover my sad story has already been told to you wide our mail and calls. So, it is not a matter of servicing but its a sort of manufacturing defect on the part of MUL Gurgaon.

                Now, the matter of concern is the mental harassment, the inconvenience as well as the extra expenses incurred by me to reach the destination in time by hiring a substitute vehicle as it was a very close family
                wedding and our presence was mandatory. Moreover money was also spent to get the tyres and tubes repaired/replaced on the way.

                Now, you can very well imagine that its a gross negligence to leave a valve caps in between the tyres and the tubes while manufacturing/assembling the vehicle. I bought this new WagonR by exchanging my old car (Maruti-800) for the sake of reliability/comfort during travelling but in this case i have lost my faith in Maruti Products.

                Most importantly what i want from MUL is the Compensation amounting not less than Rs. 1,00,000 for the Mental harassment, Problems and the expenses faced by me due to your negligence while delivering the defective vehicle to me. I have all the evidences, proofs and the statements of the people from where i got my tyres repaired after they got punctured due to the valve that is left in between the tube and
                tyre. All these evidences and the damaged tube and the valves are kept with me as a confirmation for the negligence on your part while delivering a vehicle to your customer.Maruti says "Count On Us", Tell me how can I now Count on Maruti.

                And later on at Berkeley Motos, Panchkula it has been observed that there is a leakage of gear oil from the gear box due to the faulty parts.

                So, do look into the matter seriously and revert as soon as possible. Its already too late from your side, I want you to expedite me with the action that you are taking now.

                And do look for the photographs attached alongwith this mail that supports my statements for immediate action and payment of compensation.

                As,till now i am not able to get any satisfactory action from MUL side.

                  This has been more than two and a half month that they promise me in writing to deliever the car model'swift vdi'confirmed, on date27/12/09. And today this is 13/03/10 almost a week over the period they( jagmohan motors rohtak Haryana [protected]) told me to deliever the car. But now through some sources they are demanding 5000rs over the actual price of car as a premium amount, I am in a need of car as I have promised to gift thst to my sister on her marriage to be held on 24/03/10, should I give the premium amount or take my booking amount back after these three months faced harrasmentaly

                    To whom it may concern.
                    I own 2 Swift VDI vehicles manufactured in year 2009 december.
                    Both have same complaints.

                    1) Fuel smell after fueling.
                    I drove my car in AC mode were ever i go. Went to a fuel pump, didnt turn off my car, car running still in AC mode, stopped car and step out and closed the door. Asked the person to pour Diesel for 500Rs, [remember all the doors and windows are closed and the car is running still in AC mode], once the fuel is filled up i got into my car, and started driving. After few minutes on my drive in the highway suddenly i could feel the smell of fuel coming from the AC vents. I was forced to stop the car as i couldnt breath.
                    I reached the nearest service center and i could reproduce the same issue. I tested the thing in my second Swift VDI, this also had the same issue.

                    2) Swift VDI- turned off while driving
                    I was driving my swift VDI in highway in a speed of 60-80 km/hr. I need to take a right U-turn, i had to slow down to take the U-turn, Applied the brake to slow down and applied clutch to change the gear. When we simultaneously apply the brake and clutch pedal, the vehicle will suddenly turn off in the midst of the road.
                    THIS IS DANGEROUS. When i asked my service man he told the issue is with the Clutch level sensor.

                    We the customer purchase a vehicle for 5lakh without any offer and we suffer all these problems for a new born vehicle. I think the Suzuki Maruthi is not taking well care in the PDI work and in the service departments. They should rectify these issues, my opinion Hyundai's after service is much better than Maruthi's.
                    Its shame on you people that maruthi cant found the issues while manufacturing or during vehicle tests or during after service.

                    I WOULD SAY THAT THE MANAGERS BOTH IN SALES AND SERVICE ARE NOT WELL TRAINED ALSO NOT ENSURING A VEHICLE AFTER SERVICE.

                    I Agree to his point, I own an VXI and i can get the petrol smell inside the cabin after filling the tank. and it always stops while turning. Uday from chennai

                    Maruthi Swift LDI Diesel — Maruti Swift Air conditioner failure

                    Iam Usha Shob. I own a Maruthi Suzuki Swift LDI Car. after 56794 km, air conditioner fail, Evaporator leakage. my vehicle number is KL7 BG 2514
                    Kerala, Ernakulam, I have to spend 6000 rupees for rapiring. Hope this is manufacturing deffect. Please enquire this
                    Exactly correct your observation about Maruthi personals as well as the authorised service centre personals. My swift (KL01 - AQ[protected] April) had steering trouble from the beginning but no one accept that problem, but I continues my compliants to the authorised service centre and also directly to Maruthi from past more than 4 years but no one rectified that compliant, everyone try to prove there is no compliant as raised by me and till now its power steering system totally dead. and also get information that my power steering whould be replaced and its total price is Rs.26000. Both Maruthi and authorised service centre has been rejecting my claim.

                    My swift also had off while riding. but its very rare.
                    maruti is a local company. maruti swift car is a local car and fake engine.maruti suzuki is a good company. but maruti company is a fraud company in the world.maruti suzuki swift has suzuki engine there is inprint suzuki name on the engine.but maruti swift car engine is fake engine.because the maruti swift engine is local there is no inprint suzuki name on the engine. you check your car engine is it original or fake engine.

                    i had booked a maruti swift vdi white on 15th july, 2011 with Rs 10000 booking amount at Berkeley Automobiles Ltd.chd by the nameof viney jagga
                    At the time of booking, i was told that the vehicle will be deliever in about 5 months i.e near about 15th nov 2011.
                    I called the dealer in jan 12 and some person on the call answered me that vehicle is going to deliever in june 2012.I told her that they said they will deliever the car in 5 months and she started making excuses that due to the demand, the car is not available.Then i visited the dealer and talked to their employee and he told me that vehicle is not available at the time due to shortage
                    so i have demand the my quee no and which no at present you delevered but dealer is failed to provide the no and asked me that we not able to provide the exect no.

                      Hi,


                      My father had taken his car for servicing to Spectra Service Centre (Authorised Service Station for Maruti Suzuki). The customer service rep told my father its ok if he keeps his Pen Drive, Samsung Handsfree & Samsung USB in the car as there is no risk.
                      So he trusted him and when he got his car back , it was with out all the 3 items. I have already spoken to a guy called Aditya there but he is saying that there is nothing that he can do and we have to forget our belongings.
                      This is a case of robbery and i want people to know that these service centres are not ethical and they would do anything to rob us.

                      You are lucky only those items got stolen, people have had their vehicle parts removed and replaced by defective ones during service.

                      And it is true not only with this dealer but most of the dealers.
                      Roadside mechanics are more reliable is what i have come to realise.

                      We must hit back to these dealers where it hurts.STOP GIVING THEM BUSINESS.

                        In this context, I wanna take your attention to the Unbearable behviour shown by the Rajsneh Automobiles Meerut.I m having an Swift Dzire Vdi which has been purchased by me in feb'09.
                        Visting a Rajsneh automobiles again n again has become somewhat which is not at all for the same job has become my daily routine these dayz.
                        The people over here are likely like untolerable...There is no gud facilities present for the Customer i.e No good customer lounge n No Exchange Cars ...
                        This mail of mine is simply to take your attention to the unbearable behaviour of Rajsneh Automobiles.
                        The people over here are used to make false promises and to charge more against the given estimate.
                        I do wanna, that u take strong action against Rajsneh Automobile, as i thought that before ringing the doors of consumer court i should make u aware about Rajsneh.
                        Sir, as n good customer of Maruti Suzuki i can only suggest u onething that dont let people like Rajsneh to spoil or broke the trust from Maruti...

                          I jst wanna make u knw abt the casual or unbearable behaviour of Rajsneh Automobile Meerut..
                          The people over here are unfriendly and the worst part of this service station was there customer lounge, there was no gadget present there in working condition.
                          Above all, there was No Car present for us to drop to our places,or in simple words there was No car present for Exchange...
                          I do truely believe that this mail of mine will aware u up and u will do the appropriate..As i thought that before knocking up the doors of consumer court it will better to make u aware.In last i cn suggest u onething which i personally think that it will be not gud that some people Lyk Rajsneh are breaking up the trust from Maruti..

                          Dear Sir,

                          Re: Complaint in regard to Maruti Car Model – WAGONR LX
                          Chassis No.534103 - Registration No. WB02Y 0316


                          This is to bring to your notice of the fact that the writer had purchased the above Motor Car from your authorized dealer ‘ Machino Techno Sales Ltd ‘ Alipore – Kolkata, on 2nd July 2007 by paying the Full Value as per the Invoice Raised by them. Since the purchase, the car had gone thru all suggested ‘ Servicing ‘ thru Machino Techno Service’s Service Centre located at Darga Road – Kolkata. Now incident goes as hereunder :

                          On 22nd November 2009 at around 7.30 PM, I was driving the car back home with my family members ( altogether 4 including the writer as a driver ). The car was at a speed between 30-35 km at EM Bypass Connector and suddenly, I heard a sound of soft breaking noise and the car got stopped immediately. To our utter surprise I found that the Left Wheel had come outward as the ‘Arm Assy.Fr Suspension Control’ (this technical name of the part is as per Invoice of Machino ) had just Broken.

                          On contacting thru Machino Service supervisor, the helpline was contacted and the car was towed to the Darga Road Service Centre for repair. On 23rd morning, when I had called at the Darga Road Service Centre, I was told that due to heavy Rusting the ‘ part ‘ was broken and the same got repaired against ‘ extended warranty coverage ‘.

                          The entire episode, as u can very well understand, could be a nightmare to anybody as this could have had led to ‘ fatality ‘ for all the persons had the car was on a High Speed !!

                          MARUTI being a Leader in motor car industry in our country, now the question arises, as to how come a New Car – aged about 2yrs 5 mths and covered approximately 13500 kms, only can meet such a horrifying situation ?

                          Secondly, and more surprisingly how come such a part which got ‘ so badly rusted ‘ escaped the attention of your Service Centre during there Mandatory Serving and even, in one occasion during ‘ a free servicing camp’ ??

                          Many of our friends / relative who are using Maruti Cars for years have expressed their astonishment (some of them are even using second hand cars as well !) as such an Incident can, at all, happen for a New Car!







                          Its also pertinent to mention here that my car was never washed thru water ( its rather wiped only by wet cloth ) except at the service centre, although I find the other cars in my building
                          complex are regularly washed thru water but all such owners / drivers have expressed their astonishment over such an incident could happen for a newly purchased Car !

                          The incident had, not only, a tremendous shocking impact amongst our family members and my relatives / friends at large but also shattered our level of confidence on Maruti Cars!

                          If one carefully goes thru the incident, one will have reasons to believe that the Car when sold by Machino Techno, had some Old Part fitted in it ( which the buyer – will never know ) and such incident is a definite Indication of a ‘ Lapse’ of ‘Quality Control’ for which MARUTI SUZUKI is so Proud Of ! Now only time can tell how many such Used / Old parts are still fitted in the said car!

                          On the premise of the foregoing facts, may I request u to kindly investigate the matter at it highest level so as to ensure that such incidents don’t recur to any other intending purchaser of Maruti Car which can cost lives of many.

                          And lastly, I would also request U to kindly arrange to Exchange the said Car, immediately, with a New One as I am not finding it safe to drive the said car.

                            I have purchased a Maruti Suzuki Wagon R on 4th october 09 from My car indore.
                            As My car have new dealership in Indore they commited a lot of things to lure the customers.They had commited that they will provide 4th year warranty to me as a benifit if I purchase car from them.I got a written endorsement agaist this.
                            But I have not got any additional benifit yet.I had been in touch with the agent but they are not at all interested in my issue.I am planning to file a case against my car in consumer forum.Even the agant is saying that you are free to file the case.

                            I booked a car(wagonR lxi) with 'Auto High Tech, Kolkata' on[protected], offered them pay- order on[protected], they then said, they donot have stock now and will contact me later when they get supply from the company.on[protected] they intimated me that they cannot keep the commitment now. They are asking for pay-order and telling many stories of discomfort each one is different from others. The moral of the stories are pay Rs.11000 more and take delivery at the end of january-2009.I am using a car of their made since long and I still think it is one of the best cars.I sent a message to the company on[protected] but could not get desireable reaction till now.I now think that in Maruti-Suzuki comany commitment, values and ethics has taken a back seat.Company has lost direction-Amit Bandyopadhyay, kolkata

                            Maruti Udyog — False Commitment

                            Dear Sir,

                            Myself Amarendra Singh,basically from Jharkhand, working with Star Tv,based out
                            of Madhaya Pradesh.We had word with your Company Executive Mr.Dhruv indore
                            regarding the purchase of Maruti Swift.He suggested us to take the vehicle from Standard Motors,so I have booked a Maruti Swift VDI ( Colour Silver) on 11/09/2010 through dealer Standard Motors, Jabalpur, Madhaya Pradesh . At the time of booking I was told that delivery would be within 10 to 20 days weeks by Mr.Pathak General Manager of the store.
                            However, every time I call Standard Motors they keep repeating that the company is not dispatching the vehicles and therefore they are unable to give me delivery of the same & suggested us if you are change color Silver to White then will manage to give you on time by Mr. Shukla. Can somebody please advise if there is an on-line system (besides the toll free nos. which are of no help really) to check allotments/delivery status?? How do I get a clear picture on the status of my vehicle.

                            Also, will Maruti pay me interest on the booking amount of Rs.10, 000/- for delayed delivery???

                              We bought a swift car from a reputed dealer in Mumbai - Bandra west on the 12th Oct 2007. (ALMOST TWO YEARS & SIX MONTHS AGO) MH-02-BD-4032 We were very happy on first getting the car - that was the last moment of happiness -There after it has been horrible experience - the car DRINKS PETROL like a giant - we made several complaints to the service station & they assured us results - but no use - there was no effect on the working of the car - the speed of the engine keeps increasing by itself within two days of servicing the car - THE CAR IS DEFECTIVE !!!

                              I wish to inform you that I am a media person & wish to bring this to light for other persons buying Maurti cars of the defective cars being manufactured & NO RESPONSIBILTY FROM THE COMPANY'S SIDE AT ALL .
                              I would expect an exchange of vehicle & compensation for the WASTE OF PETROL & MY ENDLESS TROUBLE Caused because of buying your product.

                              If I Do not get an appropriate reply or response in Seven working days I will deem that you are not interested & I will move in the manner I wish, with reference to the above.

                              I have no comments right now since I am awaiting delivery ( ordered on 20th Jan 2010) of Swift Dzire ZXI. My present complaint is false promise of early delivery (1 1/2 to 2 months) for the Petrol driven car. The local Agents ABT Maruti always have a ready reply that Maruti Udyog have not despatched the vehicle ! Meanwhile the manufacturer merrily keeps on increasing the price, first for Duty and now for raw materials. May be they are waiting to hike the price once more before despatching the car !

                                Hi,

                                This is bring to your kind notice that I am suffering because of some UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOUR/ATTITUDE of your
                                Team at your dealer M/S Harison Automobiles. GT Road Panipat-132103 Haryana.

                                My Car was got damamged in an accident on 28th Feb and It required some repair.

                                The Case is like that On Wednesday ( 3rd March) I had visited Harison Automobiles Panipat at around 1.30pm and There is nobody to attend the clients as lunch time was going on. So we were put down in que for next 30 minutes….

                                Just a humble query….As such Big Organisation…SHOULD THERE NOT BE AN ALTERNATE OPTION FOR CLIENTS DURING LUNCH TIME ???

                                Finally Its 2.10pm and we Met Mr. Kulbir Singh who filled my case and ask someone to see the vehicle and get ready the job card. When I asked the concerned person about the delivery of my vehicle he said very easily, you will get it on Monday and I was surprised as the vehicle was not damaged so badly.

                                Then I asked him that Can I meet your Manager please ? So he said our Manager is not available. You can meet Mr. Suresh/Sunil for the same. Then I meet both the persons and both given me a statement that they would be able to fix it by Monday only.

                                When I asked them Gentlmens The vehicle is not damaged so badly then how will it take such long time. Then they given me excuse that they have a lot of work pending to do AND YOU ARE NOT ONLY ONE CLIENT WE HAVE LONG QUES WAITING FOR OUR SERVICES. SO YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT AS NO OPTIONS.

                                Then I asked him, Pls give me this job card for a sec and I called to Karnal Motors Karnal-132001 in front of them and briefed to karnal Motor Guys that my vehicle requires such kind of repair pls suggest me that how long time you will take to fix it.. They given me time to Friday evening or max to max Saturday Afternoon.

                                THEN SUDDENLY BOTH PEOPLE START GIVING ME OPTIONS THAT THEY CAN ALSO FIX IT WITHIN SAME TIME AND THEY WILL TRY THEIR BEST.I ALSO GIVEN THEM A OPTION AS I NEED MY CAR ON VERY URGENTLY SO PLS DO NOT WASTE TIME TO PAINT THE BUMBER I WILL GET IT DONE LATER. SO JUST FIX IT.

                                IT WAS SATURDAY 12 PM AND I WAS WAITING FOR A CALL FROM HARISON AUTOMOBILES FOR THE DELIVERY OF VEHICLE. WHEN THER WAS NO COMMUNICATION THEN I CALLED MR. SUNIL BHALLA AND HIS MOBILE WAS SWITCHED OFF AND NOBODY WAS PICKING LANDLINE THEN I SEND SOMEONE TO VISIT THE HARISON WORKSHOP AND THEY TOLD HIM THAT VEHICLE IS NOT READY AND IT WILL TAKE ONE MORE DAY’S TIME AS THERE WAS SOME DAMAGE WHICH WAS NOT IDENTIFIED EARLIER.

                                I SAID OKAY SO PLEASE GIVE IT TO ME BY SUNDAY NOON. AGAIN I WAS WAITING FOR A CALL FROM THEM BUT STILL THERE WAS NO COMMUNICATION FROM THEM. THEN AGAIN I SEND SOMEONE TO VISIT THE WORKSHOP AND THEY TOLD HIM THAT IT WILL TAKE ONE MORE DAY’S TIME. SO I THOUGHT IT MAY BE BECAUSE OF STAFF HOLIDAY.

                                ITS MONDAY AND ANYONE CAN UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF THIS MORNING AS WEEK START DAY BUT I WAS COMPELLED BY SUCH PATHETIC MANAGEMENT TO LEAVE MY IMPORTANT MEETINGS AND VISIT THE WORKSHOP.

                                BUT THE STORY WAS NOT ENDED HERE, TODAY MORNING I MET MR. SUNIL BHALLA WHO HAD GIVEN ME COMMITMENT TO DELIVER THE VEHICLE ON FRIDAY EVE OR MAX TO MAX SATURDAY NOON AND WHEN I ASKED SIR WHEN WILL I GET MY CAR BACK ? HE SIMPLY SAID THAT IT MAY TAKE ONE OR TWO MORE DAY’S TIME. HIS ATTITUDE WAS JUST LIKE THAT I WAS ASKING HIM A PERSONAL FAVOUR AND THIS VEHICLE IS NOT MY PROPERTY AND IT’S THE PROPERTY OF HARISONS AUTOMOBILES.

                                SORRY TO SAY BUT HE IS ON ZERO LEVEL OF PROFESSIONALISM
                                AND CLIENT HANDLING.NOBODY WAS READY TO TAKE THE RESPONSIBILITY AT THIS WORKSHOP.

                                THEN I ASKED HIM AGAIN, SIR CAN I SEE YOUR MANAGER PLEASE BUT AGAIN THE ANSWER WAS SAME HE IS NOT AVAILABLE SO I DO NOT HAVE OPTION OTHERTHAN DEAL WITH HIM.

                                NOW CAN YOU IMAGINE THE PAIN OF A CLIENT AS THERE WAS NO OPTION FOR ME BCZ OF SUCH PATHETIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.

                                ITS MY HUMBLE REQUEST TO YOU PLEASE HELP ME TO GET BACK MY VEHICLE ASAP…..

                                THIS EXPERIENCE HAS SPOILED THE IMAGE OF YOUR COMPANY’S MANAGEMENT TO ME I KNOW I AM JUST A SINGLE CLIENT AND IN FUTURE IF I WILL NOT VISIT THIS WORKSHOP AGAIN AND IT WILL NOT EFFECT THEM A LOT.

                                BUT AS PER MY EXPECTATION from COMPANY LIKE MARUTI SUCH FULLY ESTABLISHED,REPUTED AND LEADING ORGANISATION IT WAS NOT EXPECTED.

                                Needless to say, I am quite frustrated. I expected a much higher level of service from your company, and I am quite disappointed. So I would want you to look into the matter and help me get my problem fixed as soon as possible.

                                  Fed up no proper feedback about delivery date from the dealer Spectra Motors Thane coupled with very bad dealing experience with the concerned sales representative ( Mr Prasad ) , I decided to cancel my booking of Dzire VXi and submitted a cancellation letter on 27th Jan 10. However, I have neither received my refund cheque of the booking amount nor any communication from the dealer. Complaint to their Customer care department has also fallen on deaf years.
                                  I am still waiting for the refund after a lapse of more than 6 weeks and now contemplating approaching consumer court for my refund.

                                  I completely agree with the complaint posted on[protected] by Satish B Chutke. Even I am facing the same problem with Spectra motors thane. The sales team is pathetically careless in attitude, always gives false commitments and never bothers that there is a customer waiting for the feedback or status.

                                  I have booked my Ritz with Spectra only on a commitment to receive a delivery by Dusshera Oct 17th 2010. Each time I visited the showroom or spoken to them, there the same song played of "You be rest assured Sir... your vehicle will be delivered on or before Dusshera" However, you all can see, i am writing this today, the day next to Dusshera.Even when I took this matter with the respective Customer Relationship Manager, she was no good than the rest of the team. I was surprised to see who recruited her at that position? She doesn't even care in what tone and words she is supposed to speak to the customer. The Head Sales and Marketing was only there to show how busy he is in his work and meetings who never bothered to give a call back to me even after keeping several messages.

                                  I can only state here that Spectra is no where concerned with the customers but only to make money by false commitments and careless attitude. I am sure if they dont change themselves, they are going to die very soon as the Indian Customer has also understood his rights and demands customer service more than the product.

                                  I am also one of these customers above, I had booked Ritz VDI on 12 December 2010 by paying a booking amount of Rs.10, 000/- as per the Sales Executive Mr. Vijay Masurkar who attended to me and assured me that this money will be refunded to me if, for any reason the booking is cancelled without deducting any charges. At the same time they had a scheme going on called exchange bonus of Rs.15, 000/- for the old car. I got my old car True Valued by Sidhque for Rs.58, 000/- + Rs.15, 000/-exchange bonus (Rs.73, 000/-) at that time my old car was not transferred in my name so he told me to get it transferred first and then give it to the show room. I even asked him if the True Value will remain the same if I bring it on 27 December 2010 after the car is transferred he said not a problem but the old car should be in your name to avail this bonus.After the transfer and the loan sanction from SBI I took my car on Sunday, 2 January 2011 exactly 2 weeks after booking. Mr. Vijay said after doing all the paper work the old car has to be revalued. Some person called Amit did the valuation and quoted Rs.50, 000/- including the bonus exchange to which I was surprised, I could understand if it was Rs.5, 000/- diff, it straight Rs.23, 000/- diff. which was not acceptable to me and I said I will have to see some other dealer. Truly speaking since 12 December when they first did the True value till the day I brought it after transferring into my name I did not use the car, he could have seen if he has taken the Km reading.

                                  Further, I went to Fortpoint and booked the same car and in bargin the old car fetched me Rs.68, 500/- which before giving it I called up the Manager Mr. Prasad Pandit and I told him that Fortpoint is ready to give me Rs.68, 500/- if you are ready to give me the same amount I will continue the order. But Mr. Prasad told me that if they are ready to give you more than Rs.50, 000/- then I will refund you the full booking amount without any deductions, since we dont have any buyers at that price we cannot take it but still you give us one more day I will also find out from them, the next day he found out and told me to go ahead with Fortpoint. Then I called Mr. Prasad for the Refund amount, he in turn told me to contact Riya Kamble their Team Leader regarding the refund. When I called her, what a lady she does not know how to speak what a rash lady without allowing the opposite person to speak she directly said you have agreed for 50% refund and you will get the same and that is it. At last I had to tell her Stupid, and keep the phone down because she never allowed me to say a word. Now I strongly feel that she has been recruited for this purpose only to cheat the customer with their booking amount.

                                  Spectra is forcing people and convincing them to pay the booking amount on refundable basis and later they can make money in this way even if they dont sell the cars.

                                  I request you to please look into this matter and let me have the refund in 100%, if at all any charges are to be levied then it should not be more then Rs.350/- which I am ready to bear.

                                  Your immediate action on the above will be highly appreciated.

                                  i hv buked celario vxi The service provided by spectra goregaon is really very bad they commited the date for dilivery n they did not give the car the commitment has been changed for more then 5 times n I haven't yet received my car the Person whose coordinating is turning back from his words n just speaking really bad. Because of such people n such a bad service u might loose ur customers n this may cause u a loss making company so plzz look after d service n b on ur commitment.

                                    I have spent for my car maintenance in Maruti Service in the month of January and February, 2010. But surprisingly auto points have not been credited to my auto card for these expenditures. On enquiry the representative from Maruti Service Centre apprised me that the auto card tye-up has been changed from CITI to SBI and on getting new card from SBI, the points accumulated before 31.12.2009 in CITI-Maruti Auto Card would be transferred but in between no transaction would be considered for auto points credit. We cannot expect such kind of service from a comapny like Maruti Suzuki. I should have been informed earlier for such changeover, so that I could have get the SBI Maruti Auto Card just after expiry of CITI Maruti Auto Card. This transition could have been managed by Maruti and concerned Banks in a better way to avoid such losses keeping in view of customers' interest.

                                      Sir,
                                      I Virender Sabharwal want to register complaint against my car maruti swift lxi model.
                                      Me is witnessing a serious problem agaist my car whose body has developed rusting problem.
                                      My car is just 3 years old.
                                      Me have been a reputed customer of maruti from last 11 years ,and this is first time i been facing such a big problem.
                                      Me had already file a complaint at my concerned dealer(T.R Sawhney Motors pvt.ltd.,Sahibabad branch).I have been in touch with Mr. Rajender there ,since december 2009,and in march i have got solution of just paint my car.
                                      Me had agreed on this point ,but requested a written statement from him,regarding this incident not to happen in near future but for which he had strictly denied the point.
                                      Me being a buisnessman ,didnt have much time.
                                      So, me just want a solid answer from head of maruti suzuki,that, why this problem takes place in such a small time and what is the permanent solution o this problem of mine.
                                      Given below are my car details.
