MY SWIFT VDI PURCHASED ON APRIL 2008, DONE 25000KM STARTED GIVING PROBLEM SINCE 10 SEP 2009. THE SVS & MALFUNCTION INDICATORS REMAINS ON DURING DRIVING THE CAR. GOT THE EGR VALVE CLEANED (FOR WHICH THE CAR WAS LEFT FOR THREE DAYS IN WORKSHOP, HAD VISITED THRICE TO MARUTI AUTHORISED DEALER: LMJ WORKSHOP, OPP. RFC). SERVICE PERSON HANDED THE CAR, CHARGED THE BILL KNOWINGLY THE PROBLEM WAS NOT CURED. WHEN I POINTED THEM THAT INDICATOR IS STILL ON, THEY SEND ME TO THEIR SECOND (PRATAP NAGAR) WORKSHOP TO GET CODE CLEARED BY TECH2. STILL NO CURE.TECHNICALL STAF[censored]NABLE TO LOCATE THE EXACT PROBLEM, TECH2 SHOWING EGR PROBLEM, LODGED COMPLAINT AT “ANY TIME MARUTI CARE”[protected] ON 2-OCT; COMPLAINT NO.[protected], STILL NO RESPONSE... RECHECKED THE STATUS ON 10-10-09, 21-10-09 & 31-10-09. THEY HAVE FIX REPLY- “YOUR COMPLAINT IS STILL UNDER PROCESS.” EMAILED THE PROBLEM TO MARUTI ADDRESS 0N[protected], STILL NO RESPONSE... TILL DATE THERE IS NO RESPONSE???? AGAIN VISITED TO THE SECOND WORKSHOPAS SEND BY THE FRST ONE, THE SERVICE PERSON THERE SAID – “LEAVE THE CAR FOR 3 - 4 DAYS, ENGINE HAS TO BE TAKEN OUT TO CLEAN/ REPLACE THE EGR VALVE & THIS WILL COST AROUND 6000/= ALTHOUGH THERE IS WARRANTY BUT WE WILL SEE WHAT CAN BE DONE”… THAT'S THE WAY THEY MAKE YOU FOOL, SIMULTANEOUSLY THEY SYMPATHESIZE YOU THAT THIS IS NOT ANY BIG PROBLEM BRING THE CAR AGAIN THE SENSOR WILL BE CHANGED / DISCONNECTED????? REGRETTING FOR PURCHASING SWIFT. IT SEEMS THAT THE MARUTI SUZUKI COMPLAINTS ARE ALWAYS UNDER PROCESS JUST LIKE THE SAID BOOKINGS OF THEIR SWIFT.
