[Resolved]  Maruti Udhyog Ltd. — Bad Service by Authorised Service Centre

Hi,

I had given my car for service and repairs at Maruti's Authorised Service Station named "Auto Tech Engineers" located at 20-24, Matiala Village, Sector-3, Dwarka, New Delhi-75 and was given an invoice no. 003941 dt. 25/03/05 for Rs. 2810.76p.

I am terribly disappointed with the service that was provided as 30% of the work that I had requested was not done and I got lame excuses for the same. Extra work was completed which I did not request and I was expected to pay for the same.

It is alarming to note how Maruti authorises their service centers when they are incapable of handling the responsibility. I, for one, am very disappinted and dis-illusioned with the response I got and am also very sure that the next car I buy shall not be a Maruti Suzuki.

i have bought a wagon r lxi in april 2009.since then i am facing problems regarding average and power steering.i am getting average of 10-11 even on highways.ihave complained many times regarding but still this problem is not sorted out.power steering is also not functioning properly.hope you will help me.

I purchased Alto LXi in July 2010 from DD motors mayapuri, my complaint is that my Alto not give average which Maruti claims, my car gives only 9-10 km per litter average, after first service I told it to DD motors Mayapuri they are not giving me the +ve response.

Recently four months back I purchased Maruthi Alto car, my remote is not working which is in warranty, when i lodged complaint to Nippon authorized service centre in Hyderabad, ph.[protected], [protected], [protected] they says that water gone in to the remote thats why it is not working & asking me to purchase new one.Strictly speaking it is not fully exposed to water because i kept it in side pocket of my paint which is wet due rain and for your information still opening is working but not closing ie locking with remote. Pl.forward this message to Nippon co. for rectification.

i would like to inform you that your executives approach me offered a zen type mirror to fit my car but, not yet today they will not give the above item.several times i call them they donot respond favourly.
one more complaint submiting at ur kind attention is that they will not give the satisfactory performa in my hand at the time of delivery of the vehicle

Dear SIR,
I have a maruti alto car.I felt a road accident on 8/9/2010 and some dammage accures.I gave the car at Narayani motors pvt.ltd. 09/ 09/2010 in garage.They have made an estimate Rs 20, 000/- to wards insurance.The delevery date was 18/09/2010.But with out discussing with me they have expenced Rs 54, 350/- & after insurance I have to pay about 35, 000/-.If they have discussed before starting work I would denied to work body section.I can allow to do only engine work.Now due to lack of such a high fund I can not take delivery car.The managerial staff of the garage dashed me into this problem.I would request you to solve the problem by which I shall back my car soon. D.D.Motor Service center — no work done during service

I am very much disappointed when I got my car after service by D.D.Motor Mayapuri on 12Dec nothing work done by them even than cleaning was not done and when I told about these irregularities

Service Department as per our conversation I am sending you my complaint in detail I read your mail I got surprised that you are telling me elaborate the issue I had already sent you the mail about my complaint the date I am mentioning whih I have sent you a mail are Nov. 22, 24, 26, Dec. 2, 11, 22, but I did not get any reply.
I purchased a Wagon R Lxi DL6 CL 2579since 31st Oct, 2010. The carelessness of your dealer is not tolerable. The fact is that the air pressure of all tyres should be in standard which you have made. But your dealer is playing with the norm which you have made & the customer is suffered. Since 20th Nov 2010 when i went to petrol pump and checked the air pressure, i got surprised that the pressure of air is 48 in all four tyres which was filled from the show room. The required pressure
should be 33 & 35 points. Can you tell me why the dealer fill over pressure in all tyres? Why this kind of lackadaisical did by your dealer? It could affect shockers and tyres & create problem after a long time technically, at that time who was
responsible for that ?Why they have not checked all standards measures

say that the complaint which i had lodged is not taking sincerely from
your side. I haven’t got any written reply from your side and the dealer
side. Why your department is not taking pain to look the matter .What

DEALER - MARUTI GETTING A BAD NAME

I am one of your very old customer, using many Maruti cars for the last 14 years. I have also recommended Maruti cars to my several friends/relatives who have bought also.

Recently I got one of my cars MARUTI SWIFT DZIRE ZDI- DL-7CH 3878 repaired/serviced (WITH EXHORBITANT CHARGES) at one of your authorised service centre, "MAJIC AUTO LIMITED", A-93. MAYAPURI INDUSTRIAL AREA, PHASE II, NEW DELHI - 110064 on 9.1.2011. I have experienced the following problems:

1. Majic Auto charges exhorbitantly high but with very poor service
2 MY ABOVE CAR WAS NOT AT ALL CLEANED AND WAS DELIVERED IN A
VERY DIRTY CONDITION
3. THE ENGINE OIL WAS CHARGED BUT NOT CHANGED IN THE CAR
(IT WAS FOUND ON INSPECTION DONE NEXT DAY) THIS IS PURELY
CHEATING THE CUSTOMER
4. The seat covers of the car were not cleaned rather were found dirty
5. SOME PAINT MARKS HAVE BEEN PUT ON MY CAR IN THE WORKSHOP
6. SOME SCRATCH MARKS HAVE BEEN PUT ON MY CAR BY THE
CARELESS STAFF

I HAVE ALSO FILLED UP THE FEED-BACK FORM AND SENT TO THE ABOVE WORKSHOP. BUT I AM AFRAID WHETHER THEY WILL TAKE ANY ACTION AGAINST THE CONCERNED TECHNICIAN/SUPERVISOR/SERVICE ADVISOR FOR NOT DELIVERING THE DESIRED SERVICE INSPITE OF EXHORBITANT CHARGES TAKEN FROM ME.

CAN YOU LOOK INTO MY COMPLAINT AND GET THE ENGINE OIL REPLACED FREE OF COST AND GET THE OTHER THINGS DONE FOR WHICH I HAVE ALREADY PAID AND FURTHER TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION WITH A CONFIRMATION TO ME.

dear sir,
i own a maruti 800 (1997 model). I gave the car for maintenance to Bhilai (chhattigarh) servce centre ' ganpati motors' on 24th jan 2011. The main remedy sought was to stop humming (ronnnn...) sound from gear box which was not coming earleir . The vehicle was delivered me in the " as it was" condition stating that the sound is normal and would come whereas the sound was not coming just 10 days back since then. I personally alomst love my car and have great respect for maruti 800 car in particular and other maodels /cars of maruti make in general due to the 1st lovely experience i had with buying the new car and driving to the fullest satisfaction. In fact our car really brought pride for us owning such a lovely car.
My request is to kindly do needful to bring my car running back to its normalcy which was just 10 days back. thanx laxman mob -[protected]

I am not satisfied the company services. The company name is "RAJ AUTO "they charge more and their staff also not experienced they misuse the car and not talk properly.Please take action as soon as possible.

Hi, I have a Maruti Swift VDI, The jack doesnt work properly as the tommy is too small and jack runs out of capacty to lift the car. Which makes tyre change a mess. Kindly update on the same.

Maruti Udyog Limited — POOR QUALITY USED IN NEW CARS

bought a new Wagon R VXI Black from Maruti Dealer T.R Sawhney on the 18th November 2010.I did my first and second services from them .No complaint were reported in the car by them . On Tuesday 5th april while driving, I changed the gear by pressing the clutch, and slowly releasing the clutch and pressing the accelerator , the car did not move. I was quite worried since I was climbing Modi Flyer over .Anyway I put the hand brakes and carefully took the card towards the left . Since I had no other number , I called Maruti Dealer T.R Sawhney . They sent their engineer within 45 mints . When the engineer came , he saw the engineer and said ! - What madam where did u get your car serviced, I told him i have got the first two services done at your place . The engineer said that he will have to drive the car to the workshop slow .Since I was getting late for work , and I assumed this is a trusted Maruti Dealer T.R Sawhney and I told the engineer to inform me what happens . I took an auto to office (paid for the engineer's travel fare as well) .Within 10 mints I get a call from the engineer saying my car will have to be towed to the workstation ... IMAGINE A 6 MONTH OLD CAR WITH STILL THE COVERED WRAPPED HAD TO BE TOWED, He said the tow charges will be Rs 800. I agreed and asked him to take the car . After 4 hours I get a call from the Maruti Dealer T.R Sawhney stating that the bearing and clutch was worn away and i have pay RS 7000. I was shocked not because of the money but because of the PARTS USED BY MARUTI . Within 6 months the parts needed replacement . I asked the engineer to start work . Its been THREE Days and still have not got the car . TO my SURPRISE , the dealer has informed me that the part is NOT AVAILABLE AND I WILL GET THE CAR ONCE THE PARTS ARE AVAILABLE . I FAIL TO UNDERSTAND THAT PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR A MODEL UNDER PRODUCTION AND IN A WARRANTY. CAN A REPESENTATIVE OF MARUTI EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT IS GOING ON . HAVE I MADE A VERY BAD CHOICE O[censored]SING MARUTI .I FELL I AM CHEATED BY MARUTI . The dealer is very clear , he blames MAURTI for the failure. I request you to take immediate action explain as to why the car under warranty dos not have spare parts in stock

I am unsatisfy with service of Simran Motors Service Center. Unskilled and hopeless staff.

On Saturday 30th April 2011 I give my Alto for service (40000 km). Mr. Sushil (Advisor) has check my car and take for service and he given time of delivery at 6.00 pm. on the same day i gone to take my car on 6.00 pm. Mr. sushil told me wait for 10- 15 minutes and take your car. I just wait upto 8.00 pm then he told me that you can not take your car some pending works were there. I told to Mr. Sushil that I want to go long drive on sunday with my family. kindly give my car, again on monday I will leave my car. for serivce purpose. Mr. sushil agree and ready to give my car. When I see my Car I got shocked because my car got Accident in their service center. dicky got dented and backside bumper dented and front side light broken and dent of bonate and front side bumper dented. I notice all damage due to accident to Costumer Care Managar Ms. Jyoti Kadam and she told me that we are going to do all work with servicing on Thursday on 5th May 2011. and ask for my Insurance Policy, RC Book and Driving Licence.

On Thursday 5th May I make a call to Mr. Warsi (Body Shop manager) and told me that your work will completed on Friday kindly take your car on Friday.

Again on Friday I meet Mr. Warsi on 6.00 pm he told me to take my vehicle on Saturday.

Again on saturday 11.24 pm Mr. Sushil told me on Mobile that your car is ready. so I gone in simran motors and meet Mr. Sushil. agiain he told me wait for 10 minutes I will give your car. I seen the same car in workshop it is not servicing properly and Bonate of backside is still broken situation and not washed. All thing notice to Ms. Jyoti (Customer Care Manager). She promised me your car will give on sunday after all camplaint fulfill.

On sunday Mr. Sushil call me and ask for car delivery. I told to Mr. sushil if it is ready then & then you call me, he said that he confirm the same. when I gone to Simran Motors again problem are same. Ms. Jyoti on leave so I make the call to Ms. Jyoti and told her all situation.

If body shop Insurance policy is their why used my own Insurance policy
from 1/05/2011 to when my car ready pay me Rs. 1000/- per day. because I used my car for Office. so mistke is your and How I can bear for this. I allready talk to Ms. Jyoti about all those thing.

Simran Motors have to Pay me Rs. 1000/- per day for hire charges of vehicle due to damage in workshop.

when my car ready then only call till Rs. 1000/- per day will be continued.

I am very disappointed with the service center staff.

Looking forward towards satisfactory response from Maruti and some strict action against Simran Motors.

Dear Mr. G.M. BABU,

We have purchased a Maruti Ecco (DL9CAB0260 on the Name of Virender Kumar Sharma) 4 months back i.e. on 20 Jan, 2011 from Magic Auto. We are facing a lot problems in the same since then. When the car is driven on CNG kit provided by the company itself, it keeps stopping after completing its first 10-15 Kilometers. After every service(1st 4 Free Services) the car comes without being washed. We tried to contact the service center people at Magic Auto but got no good response. From the last three days, they are keeping the car for the whole day but still no proper resolution has been provided to complete the issue faced by me.
This kind of poor service is not expected from a reputed firm like Maruti.
Can I ask that you look into this to ensure that the next service visit, arranged for 17th may 2011 resolves the matter.

This is very disheartening to inform that the quality of customer service being offered by the dealers of Maruti Suzuki at the service centers or the body shop is really alarming and disappointing.

I have always been a Maruti customer for the last 9 years now since when I purchased my 1st new car. The services were just unbeatable at that point of time but with the increasing competition the quality of customer services are decreasing day by day. I am once again sorry to say but the staffs appointed at these dealer location are so casual and unprofessional that cannot be expressed in just few words.

My car SX4 ZXI bearing registration number HR 26 BD 6008 is more often in service center due to a manufacture defect which has yet not been resolved by Rana Motors, New Delhi. They changed the entire steering assembly just 1 month back and again I am experiencing the same discomfort in driving. I complained for the same and they said that the engineer from Maruti needs to re-check the same and then it will be changed for which they never turned back. Anyways in the meanwhile I noticed that my car was sent to the body shop of Rana motors, and when I went to the body shop I found that the body shop is not Rana Motors owned but it has been further sublet to a contractor which is a separate vendor. Manager Mr.Amit Rawal is so unprofessional that he simply said that as we don’t have space hence we have hired a external contractor i.e. Rinku Motors which is a local garage and has a very bad name fame in automobile sector.I was shocked, but this is not the end to the customer services provided by MARUTI SUZUKI. Further to this…..

Now on 26th May, 2011 I met a small accident and due to the Rana motors body shops issue in Gurgaon I took my car to Pasco Motors in Sector 17/18 Gurgaon because that was the only option left for me and they said that the car would be delivered to me on 29th May, 2011. But I have not yet got my car on 31st May, 2011. Mr. Deepak the service advisor is so rude that he says that “if the work is not complete I cannot do anything, It is not my fault. Where ever you want to complain you can do that. That is our daily business to handle such complains and I am skilled for that” . He calls me every day without checking the status and when I take off from my office then he checks and says it would take another 1 day.

I wonder how such renowned company like Maruti Suzuki allows these kind of staffs and services provided to the customers???

With this kind of inhuman behavior do you expect that in future I would refer Maruti to any one or will I keep Maruti as my brand car???

It is high time guys, just wake up. Or it will be too late.

Company’s manufacture defect is not customers fault and on top of that such unprofessional people????

my eecco car no UP80 BP 6774has been serviced twice by prem motors agra &3rd service by prime motors agra but not washed at either of the services washing due written by dealer on service book leaflet my car had not been washed since purchase.

This is to bring you in notice regarding the inappropriate services provided by the Autotech Engineer (Maruti Authorized Service Station) located at 20-24, Matiala Village, Sector-3, Dwarka, New Delhi-75. Recently I visited for the Paid Service for RITZ LXI. There were some noise in driver side door, Service engineer hammered the door so badly that its locking lever got damaged and not working.

When I complaint regarding this to manager, he said that it will be replaced on owners cost. Its not our fault we have just fixed the noise of door. whereas the problem occurred during the servicing, so it will be a service station responsibility to change the part. I also told them the Car is in warranty so the part will not cost, you can replace the part.

At that time they gave me assurance that part is not in store and once its available it will be replace, but now its more than 10 days and I have contacted them several time, every time they say "part is not available, you can go to any big service station and get the part changed. otherwise you can purchase the part"

I would like to ask Maruti Suzuki, why there is no action taken against such Maruti authorized service station who unnecessary trouble the people? Kindly take the necessary action ASAP.
