[Resolved]  Max Healthcare — OVERCHARGED BY MAX HEALTHCARE

Dear Consumer Forum

As discussed with Mr Narinder (Managr-Customer Care, E-meditek) and Mr Gaurav Bajaj ( Max Healthcare), Please note that we are made fool by Max Healthcare and TPA Company-E-Meditek.

Max Healthcare overcharged me on 20 July ' 2012 for Rs. 8,058/-. They told me that TPA will pay us amount as it is capping not given by E-Meditek.

I discharged my Wife (Renu Chhiller) on 20 July 2012 from MAX Hospital Saket. We paid Rs. 10,725/- from our pocket whereas it shall be Rs. 2667/- for Non-Payable Items Report. Rest amount of Rs. 8,058/- extra taken from us. This amount is shown by Max as Over and Above, details for that not provided by Max and neither they are interested for the same.Max Hospital Billing section told us that the amount of Rs. 8,058/- is Over & Above charges which can be taken back from TPA-E-meditek. This was told by Ms Ekta Jain ( Billing person on 20th July’ 2012) along with Mr Sachin Bohra (Operator) at discharge counter. It was told by TPA Department at Max Healthcare, Saket.

These charges also should be included in Sanction Limit.

If we will get this Rs, 8,058/- which is Illegally taken by MAX Healthcare, we will file legal case in Consumer Court and will make Max Healthcare party to that along with Insurance Company and TPA. We will legal case for 1 crore as mental torture and harassment caused by Max and company.

Please solve this case otherwise we have to take extreme step against Max Healthcare.
