I was traveling from Mysore to Bangalore when I stopped by a McDonalds (I think it was in a Total Mall but would have to check my photos to be sure, too sick to do so now).
I ate the Veggie McPie and about four hours later got sick. The hotel doctor gave me some medicine which made me feel well enough that I could fly the next day.
Very surprised that McDonalds could let their international franchisees get this bad (I'm American). Hope for Indian people's sake they improve things.

Stopped in Baker City exit 304 went to the Mcdonalds. Eight to tem hours later started vomiting and had chills and fever. Totally food poisoning I have been sick not for five days. Please check this location for food violations.

I and three of my friends had visited the above McDonalds outlet at about 1800 Hours on Sunday, 10th April 11, 2011. We ordered for two McSpicy Chicken two McSpicy Veggie meals. The two o[censored]s who had taken the Chicken dish have been affected with severe food poisoning.
We had been diagnosed with acute gastroenteritis after visiting Fortis Hospital, Banaglore today. Based on the symptom timelines and the fact that the only meal we consumed yesterday evening was at McDonalds, the cause was concluded to be because of the meat dish. We have been advised treatment with medication and specific diet for three to five days. Currently both o[censored]s are on Sick Leave until 12th Wednesday.
This was never expected from an international fast food chain like McDonalds. We have launched an official complaint with them highlighting the areas of concern like raw food materials, cooking and handling. We are waiting to see what remedial action and preventive measures are they taking in order to deal with the damages and avert such occurrences in future.
