I have received an email from Sir Terry Grifth which is with coresspondance at Microsoft Award Team
20 Craven Park, Harlesden, London NW10, United Kingdom. He said Im winning prizes British Pounds Five Hundred Thousand which I can refer the Batch number: 12/25/0340 and Ref number: MSN-L/[protected] and the Winning number is: BA09788.

Yesterday (14/7/2009) at 1 pm Malaysian Time, One man name DAVID MENFORD call me which is he introduce himself as Representative of Microsoft to transfer the such amount to my account but before that he want me to pay for the Custom Declearation and after that the such amount can be transfer easier.

I check with my Lawyer, He advise me not to pay any single cents until the money transfered to my Current account the we pay any amount charge during the transfer process. in addition, my Lawyer said Microsoft wont treat their customer this way.so I refused to meet the such representative.

Please check and verify this matter and clarify to me via my email address.Thank you.

I, too, received this FRAUDULENT e-mail! As soon as I read the e-mail, I immediately went to the British Pounds converter to see "how much I won". Then I started to think, "If it seems too good to be true, it usually is." I went back over the e-mail and noticed several spelling and grammatical errors in the e-mail. My assumption was that if these people are smart enought to work for Microsoft at the capacity they are claiming, they should also be smart enough to put a sentence together correctly, use proper grammer and use the correct spelling of words. Thank God I didn't react to my greed and give these scammers what they were looking for...MY INFORMATION. You CANNOT trust anyone on the internet! People are sick and demented and have no morals, values, principles or scrupels; they think nothing of taking everything away from you, everything you've worked hard for. Unfortunately, these scammers attempt to stimulate peoples desires for instant riches and use that to attain their own. Please make sure you check everything out that seems like a fantastic opportunity, promises you the moon and asks for your personal information; if you don't, you could end up being another statistic.

We have also recently received a notification from Microsoft, regarding winnings of 250 000 Pounds, and a Toshiba Laptop. But we have 3 options to choose our winning prize collection in London, via courier and also by Transfer into a bank account. It all seems so convincing. Now I am really horrified how this is allowed to happen and that Microsoft doesn't make a statement globally that it is not associated with anything like this. Recently I also got this mail from Microsoft stating that I had won 750000 pounds. I submitted my details and they replied me stating the mode of getting the cheque, either through bank or courier services. Is fishy because those people from the award team email address are not from Microsoft, is another company etc. I will put on hold till I hear from these people again.
