I have also just received an email claiming to be one of 100 inline users to win something if I reply with al my personal details. I was aware that this is a scam due to the email addresses used to contact me. Since when does Microsoft use an email addy like. "[protected]@8u8.com " ? That immediately drew my attention as being bogus and caused my search to end up here. Please guys, be aware of these scams out there trying to defraud us. And the best thing we can do as victims/ almost victims is to warn and educate others out there who are vulnerable and excited about winning something just to be scammed.
Let this be a warning to all you mo-fo's out there who are trying to scam us- There is a WORLD WIDE WEB of info out there and YOU will NOT always get away with this!!! Leave us alone and get REAL jobs!!

I got the same e-mail about an endowment fund reward. In my case, I had apparently won $500, 000. I checked up on the courier company that they mentioned in the letter, and it was an actual company, which cought me a little off guard, since I suspeced it was a scam. Now, I don't really know what to do. Anyone got any ideas?
I think the cyber branch of Interpol should make an enquiry and ascertain facts .

It's unbelievable how much research these guys appear to do these days before sending out scams. "Just in case" I googled the address given 20 Craven park and it gives the address to a hotel in London... what a nightmare! Thankfully I have reported as spam.
