[Resolved]  Mobile Number Portability — Potability

I wanted to port my Airtel no. to MTNL, but airtel is giving foolish reasons that i have contract with airtel or something..
they have rejected my porting request 2 times.
please help.

Mobile Number Portability — Loop mobile rejecting port out request on various grounds

I have a Loob mobile postpaid connection & have been trying to port out to Vodafone for the past month(26 Jan 2011...today's date is 7 March 2011)

I have been rejected by Loop Mobile on 5 occasions,citing a different reason everytime.
Eg:Breach of contractual agreement(4 times)
UPC code not valid(1 time)

I have spoken to customer care & also the Nodal Offficer who have assured me that they would see this thourgh, however nothng has happened & I have been rejected once again.

I think Loop Mobile should realise that consumers have a right to choose and forcing people to stay with them is making matters worse.

I request whoever reads this to kindly do the needful and contact me.
I will share my details once I get a reply here.
I applied for portability from BSNL to Vodafone on 18 March, 11.Till date I await portabilty completion.

As I am regular Airtel usager for past 8 year, I wish to change my network from Airtel to BSNL due to bad services and unwanted VAS. But there was no response from the Airtel customer service for past 15 days. I have already applied for change of network, but never accept my request to Airtel customer care and don’t tell about the reasons. This is very disappointing feedback from Airtel as they are not ready to leave my number from their service after requesting the portability of my number. I have sent the message to 1900 requesting PORT and I got the unique ID. I also contacted bsnl to transfer my number to their service. After some days bsnl sent me a message saying that my portability request has been rejected by Airtel due to legal resean. I contacted Airtel, but they are not transparent about their service. I am really disappointed by Airtel and their service. Please someone tell me suggesting what I should do now. I want to leave Airtel. My Airtel Number: [protected].
