Mobile Number Portability — Misleading on MNP | |||
I have requested for MNP for my mobile no (90254*****) to Airtel as I want to change my operator from Reliance GSM. I have submitted all the required documents with the filled form and handed over to Airtel on 15th Feb but there has been no response till date (It has been 9 days and the maximum 7 days are mentioned for this process). I called both the customer care centers countless number of times but to no avail, I did not get any satisfactory response. The airtel people are saying that the process is not happening from Reliance side (as Airtel did not get approval from Reliance) and reliance people are putting blame on Airtel that they have not received any documents from Airtel. I have two mobile phones;[protected] with Vodafone and[protected] with Idea. On March 1, 2011 I had filed applications for transfer of both these numbers to Airtel but on one pretext or the other they keep cancelling my request and neither number has been transferred til today (15.3.2011) though it was announced that transfer would take place within a maximum period of 15 days. TRAI should take action against both companies for causing the delay.
I have number [protected] of RIM and wanted to smart GSM but they are demanding 100/- for the same.while i have to pay only 19/-This is the tradition of operator.
