[Resolved]  Motor Insurance / Cholamandalam Ms General Insurance — Receiving of Policy

Dear Sir,

This mail is in regard to the Renewal of Motor Insurance Policy, which was already with Cholamandalam MS General Insurance. I am having a Hyundai Santro Xing Car, having registration Number DL 3CAL 6719. My wife is the owner of the car. The policy was supposed to renew on 14th May 2009. On first instance against cover note a cheque of Rs. 7279 was issued. By any means cheque bounced and the same was intimated to us. Again new cover note bearing number 7573294 was issued to us after having the vehicle inspected by the authorised agency agent hired by Cholamandalam MS General Insurance. For the same Demend Draft of Amount Rs. 7279/- issued by Central Bank of India was given to the insurance agency. Since the cover note was issued by Faridabad Branch. One more thing I would like to mention here, is that cover note issued is bearing date 22.05.09, whereas bank draft is valid from 23.05.09 to next six months. Now almost 60 days are over and I have not received Insurance Policy. For the same I have spoken to their executive many times.
Now for more than 60days I am running my vehicle without valid policy.
I feel that this is the case of deficiency of basic customer service by the agency. ANd even negligience on promise, where as the company initiated to approach me to avail their services.

I would like to know who is bearing the mental harrasment and waistage of time everyday staying in touch with them to know the status of policy to be issued.

Is there any helpdesk for the same to eradicate my problem with the insurance company.

Hoping to get positive response and feedback for the same.
