Motorola — Faulty mobile set sold/ Poor Cusmer Sevise

I have bought a Motorola EM30 on 26-June-09 from S.H.Mumtazuddin Times (P) Ltd (Kolkata).
Withinn 1 month it was not working and the set was completely dead.
I spoke to the shop manager as I bought the product on their recomendation( I wanted to buy
a Nokia phone, but somehow a salesman in that shop convinced me for the mentioned product,
basically it was a misselling by the shop), but they refused me of proving any kind of help.

I spoke to the Motorola customercare, that the phone was dead within 1 month of purchase,
they asked me to submit the phone in a service centre in C.R. Avenue, Kolkata. I submitted
the set in the service centre on 8-Aug-09, they told they would take 2 weeks as they need
to send the set to Chennai for RF Boad replacement. Atlast they returened the set after
1.5 moths on 19-Sep-09 thats too after lodging a complain with Motorola Service Centre. In
the meanwhile i had to visit thet service centre altest 5 times to check whether my phone
has come from Chennai or not, half of the time they don't even bother to receive the call.

Finally after I got the delivery of the phone on 19-Sep-09, just after 1 week ie, from
24-Sep-09 the phone is again not working, its showing some error message.
Again I spoke to the customer care for money refund or replacement of the model. They
said I have to again go to the service centre.

Within 3 moths of purchasing the set I hardly could use the set for 1 moths. Please advise.

Motorola — Faulty Mobile

I am getting very poor service on Motorolla V3i model phone. I bought this phone on dec 2007 with Bill and Warranty from Croma Belaput outlet but withing 3 months o[censored]se it went faulty for twice.

It is really sad on the mobile manufacturer where we pay good amount of money and get bad mobile phones.

I would be going to the consumer court for this issue.

1)As mentioned in my erlier complain within 1 month of purchasing the phone I has a RF board replacement, I bought the phone on 26-June-09 and from 16-July-09 the phone was dead, and it was with service centre from 08-Aug-09 to 19-Sep-09.
2)While taking the delivery of the phone the person in the service centre in C.R. Avenue Kolkata misguided me by saying if I return my Job Sheet which was the only proof of that I had a problem with the set, then only he can give the delivery of the phone, but later on I came to know that was a false statement made by that customer service executive of Motorola, even they didn't provide me any papers for the RF board replacement and changed IMEI No.If now by any chance my phone is lost I cant lodge a FIR as I dont have any IEMI no for my phone.
3)After taking the delivery from the service centre again the phone was not working from 24-Sep-09. Again I had to take it to the sevise centre in Salt Lake, they did some repairing to the phone and delivered me on 30-Sep-09.
4) After taking the delivery on 01-Oct-09 again the phone was not working from 2-Oct-09. Again I had to take it to the servise centre and got the delivery on 05-Oct-09.
5) Now the final conclusion, after lodging a complain to www.ccccore.co.in I got a call on 01-Oct-09 from two person who are in some position in Motorola Customer care dept, one some Mr Souvik and another was Mr. Ajay Chobey (I have their mobile no. with me). I told them the entier story from the beginning. The promised me that my mobile will be replaced with another model called E8 with an enhanced warranty of three months as within three moths this is third time when the phone is again not working. They asked me for some time to get the neccessary documentation from the head office. From 01-Oct-09 till 24-Oct-09 this Mr Souvik misguided me with all false promises, also gave me the option of replacing the phone with three models E8 or E6 or U9 (one of the model E8 is already an obsolate model, later on I came to know), and finaly on 24-Oct-09 he said that the PHONE CAN'T BE REPLACED.
My question is from a responsible position of a renowned company how a person can play like this with the customer. He could have told me before, he just wanted to waste time and what he did is customer harrassement not customer servise.
Also how can Motorola realese a faulty set like EM30 in the market and who has given the right to the company to play like this with the common people's hard earned money.
Please advise.
