[Resolved]  MTNL Broadband — Erratic Broadbannd Connection

My broadband connection is erratic. Its LINK and DATA light goes off abruptly hampering download process midway and soon the connections resumes on its own. This happens twice a minute and is quite inconvenient. This problem is persisting since June, 2009 and despiting writing mails to CMD/MTNL, no improvement is forthcoming. Plz advise what to do next..

MTNL Broadband — incompetent technical staff

We have mtnl broadband since atleast 4-yrs now... whether we use the net or no the bill is Rs.700/- even when our computer was not functional from november to december 2008. basic plan and all rentals calculate to 350 maximum. no respoonse from your office despite of several phone calls. modem has been replaced atleast twice, but the link light fails appear most of the time, and we have to stick labels on the power button to keep it on.but again no technical staff is bothered. Mr. Ram is the head in our division, but he seems to be continuously unavailable and his so called assistants cant take any action. call it your incompetency to provide service or our stupity to continue in a national brand... we are opting for another internet connection from private suppliers if you fail to do anything soon. i have attached a photo which is the continuous error and every time i call and complain there is no answer. half the time net is not working from mtnl. there was a wire break due to some construction work.repairing took 15-days, who pays for not using the service and rentals without the usable dumb box called modem.
Its almost 8 months I have been complaining about the Internet Not working and everytime some incompetent technical staff is sent. Knowing fully well that there is no connectivity, month after month I have been billed for the broadband connectivity. Worst of all is the rude behaviour of Mr Patel who expects me to carry my laptop to the MTNL office. He picks on me often saying Madam how can we help you, you are never at home when i have conveyed to him that yes I am working and available on Saturdays. Consectuive four saturdays some incompetent technical staff were sent who did not even know the basics of laptop/computer handling. The linesman is witness to my Broad band conn. not working. I expect a refund for the past 10 months it was non functional and also with a request that a competent technical person be sent to my residence and if not possible, you may kindly arrange to have the same disconnected. I have no fancy for paying 199 every month. I don't think you would service usage of broad band for free. Kindly expedite.[protected]
