[Resolved] MTNL Broadband — Internet connection | |||
Hello, I have been using the services of Mtnl Mumbai (Telephone & Internet) for quite some time. However for the past year I have been facing issues with the internet connectivity where the internet connection drips constantly and I am unable to use the internet. Even if the internet connection is working it only stays good for 10 minutes after which the modem does not have the connectivity light of PPPoE. I have raise the issue with the call centre dialing 1504 from the Mtnl landline, however they do not address the internet problem, also hang up on during the conversation without any redressal. Insipte of repeated call and complaints if the internet connection resumes, it lasts only for a day or two. I have change the internet plans for better speed with higher tariff amount to get rid of the constant internet problem, however I am still facing the same issue without any good services. The call centre employees for Mtnl Mumbai are completely helpless and non co-operative in troubleshooting the connectivity problem. I want to raise this complaint to the higher authority as Mtnl have been paying a deaf ear to all my complaints and I have to pay the entire amount of the internet charges though i barely get to use the internet when required. i m user of mtnl broad band, my telephone no is[protected], i have problem with broad band since last 10 days, some time working some time not. my wireless internet is also not working from 10 days, i was complaint about it in mtnl office and call centre many times but problem is not solved till now

My Name is Shishir Kumar and I live in New Delhi.
MTNL is worthless and it does not even bother to listen to their customers.
I have applied for a new broad band connection on 23rd January 2013 and till now it has not been installed at my residence.
I am frustrated as I have called several times to different MTNL officers and have not received any positive response from either of the below mentioned numbers. Moreover, everyone was very rude over the phone as I did a mistake calling them.

I would like to mention that Mr. Jainuddin had visited my residence for documents collection and had already collected an amount of Rs. 500 from me. I was assured that the connection would be installed in 03 working days.
Now, I am so frustrated that I do not want a connection any more and I want my money back. But, and I believe it will not be refunded as no one listen in MTNL. ( I wonder If I go asking for my money, how will they treat me. Once again, I will be asked to go here and there).
However, I would like anyone to look into this department so that no other customer gets harassed as I have been done.
Please, please, please someone take immediate action.
