Dear Sir/Madam,

My Landline No. is 27186647. I booked an Broadband Internet connection: 56900001. My Internet Broadband connection was activated on 30/01/09 when i made several remainder to SDO and other officials (including S.S. Jain ([protected]), V.K. Sagar ([protected]) and at GM Office too.). Get the List of Number dailed by me from 27186647.

Internet worked for few days then after wards problem was prominent and i booked several complains and informed personally to Govt. officials directly on this contact No's (SDO, AM, Sub-Divisional Officers)

Phone was dead from 14/02/09 to 03/03/09, means neither phone nor internet was working.

Response time for resolving a complaint is 24 hrs.

I had called to Narender Kumar-SDO[protected], S.S.Jain - Area Manager([protected]), R.A.Gupta - GM Office[protected], 23328823,[protected], N.K.Mehta - GM Office[protected],[protected], Sanjeev Kumar - DGM Office[protected] on daily basis. My telephone record support the fact.

After making hundred of remainders to officials stated above no action has been taken uptil now. On daily basis official states to me that we going to look into this matter, but i don't understand what action they had taken and why our MTNL paying to them.

After so much calling and remainders, Mr. Pramod ([protected]) on 17/03/09 visited the site and looked into this matter. After analyzing, he suggested that there is some problem in Modem, i remainded to my Narender Kumar (SDO) and S.S.Jain(Area Manager) about this finding but Narender Kumar(SDO) insisted me to visit the MTNL office by taking the Modem for replacement but i requested him to visit the site, replace and test at site only but he in its ignorance, told me that he visit the site tomorrow, which he was doing since 07/03/09 from when i started looking into this matter seriously.

I had not availed any service since 02/02/09 from MTNL and invested more than 150 calls to resolve this matter, still it is pending. Why a subscriber will pay when he had availed the service. So, look into this matter to adjust the payments too.

I request to you, take to appropriate action to resolve this matter and take appropriate action against concern officials and make sure that this will not repeat in future.

Please do not take any broadband from mtnl as they only collecting money in the name of cheap service inoccent people are the victime

    I have taken the MTNL BB connection almost 2 months ago and every this was going on perfectly fine, since Friday the 13th of March 09' the speed for dowloading and uploading data drop to 3 to 5 kbps from 227 to 235 kbps, I spoke to every possible people from all BB department. I started making complaint on the 1504, this no is for internet issues i was given the complaint no 2087, nothing happened for 24 hrs, then I again called up and on the same no 1504 and spoke to the customer care executive she told me that out technicain will visit to your place and will check the problem, then after 30 mins or so someone from BB technician dept named Abhay called up and he told me what is the issue, i told him everything about the slow speed issues, he made me do some changes in the network & connection option, the changes was he change the option to obtain IP automatically from the static IP address and ask me to not to change ant thing in the DNS setting, then I asked to restart the machine, no thing happened it was same as before, then he is telling me that there is a problem with the pc it might have got some virus, I told him that i am using the registered version of Symantec Antivirus and its gets updated on daily basis, and he started argueing and was very rude on the call too. then he disconected the call bluntly. Then I called up to the connection dept and talk to Mr. Chawdhary he takes care of the new connection as well as the old modem setting issues, after talking to him he suggested me to format the machine and then check it, if there is any probl;em he will come and check the same. After formating the machine still bo joy it was the same. I called him again and told him everythign he replied as for as you are able to get the internet connection its perfect from our side and i cannot do anythign about it and he told me to get in touch with the speed issues dept and the no to that dept was 23488810 i spoke to the person on this no and he checked online from there end is was perfectly fine and then he ask me to do a complaint on 198 and select option 1&3 and technician will come and check th line as there might be some problem in the line and its been more than 24 hours and nobody has some to check the line, I have been callin since 13th March 09 and no action has been taken as of today, I have 999 unlimited plan and i pay almost more than Rs 1000/-for the internet conection and of which i am having hard time to work with this slow speed connection since almost a week...I know that this is India and it takes time to react but what about the customer sentiments they care the damn of it. If we make the payment 1 day after the due date they straight away take the charges from us but there is issue since a weeks times but not compensation will be provided to me...if this thing continues and nothing is been done by the end of this week i'll discontinue with the service

    I totally agree with above person.
    I am facing the same problem. Even after paying up Rs 999 for the unlimited plan, whenever i try to download the speed reduces from 80kbps to almost 100bits per sec.. and then the download stop...

    why is this happening.
    Is mtnl fooling people around. Even i tried calling each and every call center of their and they all say that call this number or that number as this is not their department.

    The browzing is good, but not able to download.

    I hope the right officials see this complaint and do something about it.
    i have mtnl''s 599 unlimited plan and still i m getting 35kbps instead of 512kbps. i want you to kindly check my speed and call my area manager for this issue and resolve this problem as soon as possible...

      I have a valid sim no [protected] and am at Kalpakkam tamilnadu for 2 months. I am not getting the roaming connection though it is showing full signal. A call from outside is telling as temporary suspension. I tried the helpline no but is of no use. Pl rectify

        Dear mtnl chairman

        (through the complaint cell)

        please check my call record of my telephone no 23360073 dated 15/03/2009 from 11.35 to 12.45 how many calls I called to 1500 for extension of my broadband connection from combo plan to unlimited hours, when I called to 1500 ist dial 1(hindi) then 0 to customer care executive every time they switch on the system and no response from their side similarly today i.e. 16.3.09 I again call to 1500 between 21.20 to 21.30 same time of position is happening.

        Now I want to ask is this the way to dealt with customer, who wants to get the facility of mtnl by giving PAYMENT. Why you recruited this type of non professional person to your call center, who does have any temperament to talk with the customer.

        I want immediate reply from your side to resolve the problem

          1. That I have got installed GARUDA FWT(HTT-801) Connection on 18/09/2008 and later I got activated Internet on this connection.

          2. That I was assured that this connection will give the speed of 144 KBPS.

          3. I am check my internet speed with the help of speedometer which show only 13.06kbps.


          So many times, I have contacted to your customer care, but inspite of my repeated pursuation, net speed is not being improved at all.

          But mtnl not taken any action on this problem or necessary action to improve the net speed on this connection please.

          speed depends some time on signals strength.
          In city there are many buildings & if you are using CDMA internet connection at the Ground floor you may face slow speed problem.

          I am also using Garuda internet unlimited plan & getting 144 Kbps (up to 18KBPS) speed.

          but I have to set external CDMA antenna which I got free from MTNL.

          I download torrent by this. I can watch CNBC awaz also at in.com

          only in 300 Rs month.
          sab bakwaas hai mtnl garuda me koi bhi speed nahi hai. or rahi baat floor ki so im stay in third floor. mujhe to aaj tak 50kbps ki bhi speed nahi aai.
          itna boring internet mene kabhi nahi dekha. Costumer care wale help nahi karte garuda ko apna ye internet connection band hi kar dena chahiye. garuda ke officers ko saram nahi aati isko sahi kyo nahi karbate. costumer pesa deta but usko service nahi miltee. internet kabhi bhi thik se chalte hi nahi dekha. me to time nikal kar isko band karwane ja raha hu. or sabhi costumer ko ye hi advise deta hu ki isko band karwa dena chahiye.

          and i get 19 kBps on same garuda u cant complain on speed

          but yes i am too fed up from frequent disconnection and many times the server is down
          A couple of months back garuda internet was working fine at my place (S/Delhi). However the state of internet in terms of speed is pathetic. No MTNL personnel fix it despite several complaints. I think this is high time for the Govt to remove the non-performer and recruit the talent. We can't let the tax payer's money go waste giving salaries to some bunch of joker in garuda who do nothing since last two months. The bottem line is all garuda subscriber must write to higher authorities upto the PM, Presidents, news channels about their problems. Hardly takes times to e-mail. But believe me this will work. No problem with GARUDA but problem with these Delhi MTNL jokers.

            Sir,

            I have had MTNL broadband for over 2 years. Initially it functioned very well. However for the last 3 months, the ADSL light is always flickering. I have complained three times - even currently a complaint is registered under my name. Once a complaint is registered, some one calls and ask - teek hai - the broadband functions well for max 2 hrs and then it is back to its flickering ways. Even yesterday, the same problem was rectified and it worked in the evening, now again it is not working.

            MTNL Broadband — blinking of ADSL continuously

            from 14 august my brodband connection is not working. The ADSL is continuously blinking. I have very big problem "How i work on net?"

            DSL PORTAL is not working. The Broad Band Connection which was previously installed to the MTNL landline phone No. 24352601 not working properly, now we have got the no. changed from 24352601 to 23072601 still the Broad Band connection is not working.

              I have broadband connection with unlimited download plan. but this is not working since last two months. I HAVE CALLED 1504 WITH COMPLAINT NO. -6001 & 6211. Then called at GM OFFICE also, but nothing has happened till date. It seems that either concerned officials are deaf and dumb or they are operating from PAKISTAN becausethey are also not responding. I am paying for this connection as INDIANS do.

                  I have tried to lodge the complaints against the unexpected behaviour and bad language used by MTNL Customer care executive and try to send it on mtnl email id feedback.[protected]@bol.net.in. But, making a lot effort, I am unable to lodge because, the mail ids doesnot receive my complain. I wanted to attract the attention of higher officials of MTNL Delhi on the above subject that some of their customer care executive at call center using unethical and bad language while requesting for lodgement of complaints. I don't know the name of perticular executives because he didnot confirm his name and he gave me his position no, that I forgot. Yesterday, I faced such a situation while I heard some bad words used by that particular executive.

                  Hope, I will get some help in this regard from somebody...

                  I was trying my friend mtnl number its seems to be switchoff since from one month so i just ask for the call history or any number so that i can contact over their with customer care executive they used to say that you can call after sometym we will let u know but no body is answering so i just wanted to know that they will share with me or not plzz reply i will be very kind of you.

                  Idea — wrong deduction and unethical behavior of customer executives

                  you can figure out the level of my grief that i have to register a complaint about the idea services.In this whole month of july i have been forced to go through the trauma by idea as they have been wrongly charging me on my msgs inspite of an sms pack,not only wrongly but they are charging me international for local msgs.I did report this problem on 198 and it was resolved once after a lot of perseverance but then again in the same week the problem reoccurred. And what added to my grief was the unethical handling of the helpline executives, To name a few ,miss neelam,mr. shoaib, and ajeet!!! as of now i think my number has also been blocked from the helpline ,i have been trying it since the last 2 days but no respond!.With all hopes i write to you hoping that you will surely not disappoint me and get back to me as soon as possible.[protected]
                  What a worst connection, network, and customer care it has been. Moreover, since I applied for MNP(mobile number portability), the b***** have stopped my incoming.

                    I am Attaching history of Mail send to MTNL Dolphin helpdesk ID. Its useless customer care as well as useless email ID .


                    Its Been now almost a month . nothing has been done with regards to network problem . why should i pay bill to MTNL ??? you can see i have mailed on this ID in 10 feb . but till today no body is bothered to reply .

                        We are residing at Mumbai in Andheri Lokhanwala Complex and have a MTNL landline connection, telephone number[protected].

                        Over the last couple of months we have distinctly observed that between 10 am -6pm.our telephone number when called from outside just keeps ringing to caller, but the telephone becomes dead at home(cannot receive and dial calls). The telephone ring is back to normal in the evening till next day morning.

                        Inspite of the phone line being dead in the afternoon, our bill amount has been progressively increasing. We strongly believe that during the afternoons our telephone line is being diverted elsewhere and is used by somebody else. We are paying the cost of somebody else using our telephone line in the afternoons

                          I Have Registered with MTNL Broadband and asked for a change of plan
                          from Rs 199 to Rs 299 and my docket no is F5021808 when i inquired that plan is not changed (on 1504 Helpline)they gave me tel no 28690111which is out of services, The customer service is poor kindly guide me and do the needful

                          Idea — Activaction of 299 Rs. plan without asking.

                          I received a call from Idea about Rs.299 plan. They provided me information, and activated the plan without asking. I gave many complains, but my amount was not refunded. I request you to take necessary action.

                            I have MTNL Broadband Services & IPTV Cable Services which are not working from 5th Feb, 2009. We have Lodged serveral compliants on the customer care numbers of both MTNL & IPTV but are not getting any response. Finally we discontinued with IPTV services but have not yet recieved the refund & for broadband servires the engineer once came to check the connection & went back assuring to return with solution but never came back.

                            Hope you will look into the matter soon.

                              My internet has not working for the past 3 weeks.Despite numerous calls and desperate complaints to various departments and officials of mtnl delhi i have got no response from them.I am very sorry to say but their service has been disappointing to say the least.My address is 1944 Laxmi Bai Nagar and phone no 24104781.
                              My tel no, 27932640, broadband connection is not working from last one week, , tel.com. no, 1669 . generally connection missing for 10-15 min. after 1-2 hrs of continuous running of internet.

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  I own a Garuda FW Landline phone number[protected]. I have been using the Garuda internet services under the plan 299 unlimited since more than 6 months now.

                                  I have several areas to complain and want to know information as below.

                                  From the beginning of the service till date, the internet service has remained unreliable and has never given proper speeds of even a dialup connection of 56 KBPS. Generally I am not getting the bill at my place in time & although I am paying the bill, still I am not able to connect to the internet most of the times.

                                  Whenever I am calling the call centrer in Churchgate they always have a reply that the server is down and for any further information contact Bandra Kurla Exchange. Sadly, no one ever picks up the phone at Bandra Kurla Exchange, hence, I would like to know why you are maintaining such a USELESS call center where they have no answers to any questions related to Internet service. Moreover the call center is manned only from 7 am to 8 pm and not round the clock

                                  After calling again & again & insisting they are giving some numbers for the Managers which no one is picking up. I hope mostly they are SLEEPING ON DUTY. Also the answers from the call center are sometimes rude. MAY be this is MTNL CULTURE & they are following the MTNL motto MERA TELEPHONE NAHI LAGTA.

                                      Discontinuation of mtnl broadband connection wef: 10-9-09 due to various reasons.
                                      1) Mtnl has failed to provide services to the customers in time.
                                      2) There is a constant server and connectivity problems.
                                      3) Mtnl have no competent technical staff to solve the problem of the customers. Mtnl is sending lineman one who does not know the abcd of broadband connection and dial up connection.
                                      4) If you lodge the complaint about broadband connection, they will convert it into dialup connection and charged heavily.
                                      5) The exchange staff is not cooperative with the customers. They always blame customers.
                                      6) No software and hardware engineers are attending the complaints. The telephone operators are directing the customers to contact such and such person. Even that person is not available.
                                      7) When i have submitted my application for discontinuation of the broadband connection wef 10-09-09
                                      i was asked to to return DSL modem box and accessories. On the same day I have returned the same and obtained the receipt. but no response for discontinuation and refund of my deposite.
                                      8) Another problem is that i have given option to deduct my monthly charges through my bank.Instead of deducting the monthly amount. The mtnl concerned staff told me that due to the internal problem of the exchange, they have not deducted the same and i will have to pay late fee.
                                      9) My question is that why the customers will have to pay late fee whereas this is the fault of the mtnl.
                                      I therefore request to the higher authorities of the mtnl to discontinue my broadband connection wef 10-09-09 and also charged broadband connection as per my plan 849 and immediate action for discontinuation of broadband services immediately and inform me accordingly.

                                      mtnl broadband connection — complaint about broadband

                                      dear sir
                                      I wanted to inform you that i am the user of mtnl broad band, my telephone no is[protected], i have problem with the broad band more than a month, some time it work's and some time not. The link also break down oftenly, but now it is completely not working from last week, i was complaint about it in call centre and to the area manager many times but situation is still the same.
                                      Please take some action immediately.

                                      MTNL Connection and Broadband Service — No Connection

                                      Sir,

                                      I wish to bring to your kind attention that I have two MTNL connections in my name i.e.[protected] &[protected]. I also have a broadband connection on phone numberf[protected]. Both the phone connections are not working for the last about 25 days. All the bills are properly paid by me well on time to your department and there is no default. I had complained about this many times on your customer support number also but nobody turned up for the resolution of the problem so far.

                                      You are requested to take an immediate action in regard to my above request for which I will be highly obliged.

                                        I have an MTNL triband connection since October and i was having well and fine speed of transfer rate of about 100 Kb/sec but it just came till my first bill took to generate and after that i have got my internet speed of just about 10 kbs/sec so it dropped about 10 times and i am suffering from it a lot i have got mental tension of it i am not able to surf my net properly i am not able to complete my work in time i have talked about it to the area had there Mr.Yadav he didn't solved it i have talked to Line head in AKL-4 Mr.Yadav he also haven't solved they gave that responsibility to Mr.bhau taking care of net but he said me that i will check it and reply to you but its 4 months since my follow ups not sort of reply from them and sort of issues being solved they are just moving me from here to there.i just want to know if will get my speed what i was getting in first month or not i have lost of about 10000 rs in 4 months at speed of just 10 kb while could have got any other connection of this speed a 4 times less.I need the proper speed of what i am paying i have having bill plan of 2500 monthly and my MTNL no. is 28083256 in kandivali west Mumbai. and my contact number is[protected].

                                        Hello,

                                        I had registered a lot of complains of my Garuda Internet & phone connection in customer care. But there is no result, they are very loose & neutral towards their duty/work. My Internet is too slow that i can't open a simple and a single website like yahoo, google homepages. But still I pay a bill of large amount in every month on time. Because I have a unlimited plane of internet whose bill is fixed. Why I'm not getting the proper service, my money is going to waste.

                                        Also I can't get the plane of Broadband connection, that is a second option. Because the wiring service in our locality is very poor. Their is no "DP connection" in area.

                                        ...this is the service of MTNL.

                                        MTNL has suddenly become very slow, They have started providing just as much speed as the plan one takes. I am on the 999 plan (256 kbps unlimited) 3 months back when i got the connectionm y download speed was 200kbps but now its only 29kbps. That is the maxx it goes to. After complaining and following up continuously i found out that the internet head at my cumballa hill branch says this is what u will get i[censored] want more then change ur plan,

                                        MTNL sucks, any better options in south mumba??????????????
