MTNL — Bad service

Hi, I am using MTNL telephone and internet services from past 10 months. But phone is almost in dead condition. And internet doesn't work most of the time. At present both services are closed from 5 days. I have given 5-10 complaints but no response. Please if you can do anything then do.

I've purchased a triband 512 kbps connection, and am really disappointed with the services that are been offered.
The connection was working superb only for the first two days, after which the connection was down for a day.
On lodging a complaint, a person from the telephone exchange called up to verify the complaint, after which the connection was working fine for about 2-3 hours.
Now, its been the 3rd day that the connection is down. Sometimes, intermittent connectivity is provided.
Upon lodging a complaint, I've been told that a complaint has already been placed, and that the issue would be resolved.

I dont understand how are we supposed to lodge a complaint, if the IVR does not allow us to lodge one.
Secondly, I dont understand why do I have to disconnect my main telephone line for connecting to the internet (whenever it's available)... I'm paying for a broadband connection, and not for a dial up. I do expect my phone to work, when I'm on the internet.

This seems to be a fraudulent publicity for Broadband.. when actually the meaning of Broadband is not understood by their own technicians....

I would really expect some action on this...
If no action is taken, then I would really appreciate if my internet connection is restored, and works as expected...

I have MTNL landline as well as TRI Band subscriber. My phone no. 27459393 & customer no. is [protected]. My consistant problem since many months is that the internet trips again & again. Moreover whenever I receive a call on my land line & if the internet is on, the net trips. I request you to kindly fix the problem at your earliest.

MTNL — Bad Internet Service

PATHETIC NET SERVICE BY MTNL
I had made my first complaint about net not working on 8th August 2010 by MTNL brodband service(1504) my docket no. was 2771. On which is was figured out that the probelem is in the line as the ADSL LED was not on. But the next day it was found out that the modem is not working properly. Till Wednesday 11th August 2010 nothing was done.Finaly I called Mr Raina , but I was connected to Mr Gaware and told him that the modem is faulty and to change it. Till Friday the modem was not changed and the MTNL would just call up asking whether the line is working or not....On Friday the modem was changed which was faulty again. I was told that the new modem is not available and that this would be on temparary basis. Since then I have made many new compalints regarding the same but I get the message that the complaint is alraedy registered with docket no. 8800. I am paying 1000/- per month for this net service. And I am getting a pathetic service.Why should I pay MTNL the amount if I am not getting my Net service?
my phone is dead since 10 june 2011 and complaint was raised on 11 june 2011 complaint 1087 and my telephone no is 27040664.Called all the officers in ecchange and they are saying that it will be fixed but no one called and came to fix the issue and my internet was not working properly for a month.Most corrupted and unprofessional people work there.
please shut down mtnl.
My name is Pulkit & I stay in B-107, Jhilmil Colony. I have subscribed to MTNL Broadband service since last 3 years. The service has been good & if some problem is received, on reporting to MTNL, help is received.
But since last 3 months, there has been a lot of problem in MTNL service. The internet line is full of disturbance. Though there have been a number of compalints done (more than 15 times) to MTNL customer care, not much support is provided. I guess as MTNL is a government organisation, its is hardly careful about a troubled customer.
I am very dissapointed with the MTNL people as they are not even trying to correct the problem. I have even called MTNL SHO many times but I have never received any response.
Please help me put this complaint to MTNL senior officers that there is a problem which can be resolved but MTNL officers in east delhi (office is at AGCR) are unwillling to do that.
Dear visitors of this site pls pay attention as I m going to tell u about "MTNL 3G jadoo DATA CARD" 3.5 Mb/s ... Now pls dont believe in them because of following reasons

1) 3.5 Mb/s is the modem's CAPACITY . ( not the speed that u get )
2) gets DISCONNECTED frequently
3) No support from MTNL staff ( if it is pre-paid then very bad )
4)Speed u get ( as per what i got till now 300Kb/s Dwn speed )
5) HSDPA signal ( means 3 g signal ) which is not always available . ( in this case u will be using normal 2 g INTERNET )
6) 3 g NETWORK NOT AVAILABLE EVERYWHERE .

I HAVE THIS AND I M USING THIS JUST BCOZ OF THEIR RATES !!!!!!!


BE CAREFULL EVERY ONE WHILE CHOOSING UR " I S P " . especially with MTNL / BSNL u r playing with FIRE .

MTNL REALLY SUCKS, I HAVE 1000RS PLAN AND MY NET HAS NOT BEEN COMING FROM 5 DEC AND I COMPLAINT REGULAR BUT NO ONE COME TO REPAIR IT. AND WHENEVER I COMPLAINT THEY SAY THEY WILL COME IN 24HR

i Vijay Gupta[protected] would like to tell you my Internet is working properly since when i have installed that, there is some problem always there with it. when we complain then a wire man comes and he is illiterate person don't know anything he only cuts there wire and joins again that the only solution he knows. i am fed up of doing complains. i have went so many time to your vakola, Santacruz (E) office but the Head Mr. Mishra just give me assurance of things will done quickly. so sir my request is to you please fix the problem otherwise i have only option left with me to switch to other service provider.
My broadband is not working properly from last 2 months.I registered my complaints many times through telephonic services of MTNL but none of the complains got resolved. i want rebate in my bill because of not getting the services as promised by the aforementioned company.
