MTNL — waiver of half month's subscription

please wave my half month's, monthly rental. for the month of may 2008, as my phono no.22374356 was out of order from 21 may 2008 to 31 may 2008.and the SDO told me that it will be deducted automatically but it was not as it is there in the bill I received it yesterday
