MTNL — Broadband connection not Installed

I have applied for a broadband connection on 26th March 2011 with Distance Telecom (84-A, Ground Floor, DDA Bldg., Mata Sunderi Road, New Delhi-110002) and the cheque of Rs. 650 has been cleared on 5th April 2011.
They have given me 7 days time to install the connection but till now i have not received anything. I am trying their enquiry numbers[protected]/7890 and Gagan (Area Manager) contact no. is [protected] but these all are out of service and the mobile no. is switched off from yesterday 18th April 2011.
I hope you will take some action against this above mentioned and my connection will be installed as early as possible.

MTNL — TRI B COMBO 250

I had applied for the triB 250 combo plan on 14/08/2007. They gave me the connection of telephone but the internet services were not provided. I have been paying the combo charges since then.Till today i am not getting the internet service. I have reminded the concerned helpline no.(1500) many times but no action is taken.

MTNL — REGARDING SERVICE OF PLAY TUNE

I am a subscriber of MTNL Dolphin post paid service of Mahanagar Telephone Nigam. I activated my play tune ( caller tune recently ) .You must be aware that most of the mobile network producers play a casette before the play tune is heard. It goes like this ''Is gane ko copy karne ke liye star dabaye.. monthly 30 rupaye rental.......". I forwarded my complaint several times to MTNL objecting to the casette played prior to my caller tune as I pay for the downloading of the song and the monthly rent for the said tune. Inspite of this the company advertises to different callers who call on my phone by using this casette before my play tune which takes about half a minute. This is highly objectionable and all the mobile service providers should be compelled to stop the same .

MTNL — broadband speed

I am having a MTNL Broadband Connection No. 27343302; I am facing too many problems like slow Browsing, DNS not pinging, cannot use phone and Broadband simultaneously. I talked many time on their customer care but still the problem is same, even I send a mail to MTNL people and the subject was If you have any shame then kindly rectify the problem which I am facing from last 4-5 months...

i was complaint about it in mtnl office and call centre many times but problem is not solved till now.

MTNL — less speed than subscribe

We have MTNL broadband in which we have plan that MTNL will give 2MBPS, my telephone number on which broadband is 22011933. But since last so many days my speed is only 500 to 600 kbps. Please take action as they are missguiding customers & taking money more than promise services. Waiting for your action. Thank you.

I think MTNL is the ONLY telephone operator in INDIA whose customer care work round the clock i.e.
10 a.m. to 11 a.m. - Morning Breakfast
11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. - Chat with Peon and Babu log
12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. - Lunch break
2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. - Chat with Mishra ji
4 p.m. to 5 p.m. - Tea break
5 p.m. - We are leaving for the day, please come tomorrow.

MTNL — Mitti Ke Rang

Dear Sir,
I want to bring to your notice that MTNL is charging for unauthorized services on pre-paid mobile services at Delhi. Today, June 6, 2011. I received a SMS on my mobile [protected] containg the message "your monthly Subscription of Mitti Ke Rang has been updated" and rupees 30 were deducted from by balance. I received similar message earlier also and ignored every time. I have never subcribed to this kind of any services of MTNL.

I request you that the MTNL's charging for this kind o[censored]nauthrized services are unfair and must be stopped. MTNL must be punished for the same. The money charged from the subscriber unauthorized must be returned to the subcriber.

MTNL — Non availability of battery for replacement

MTNL is allotted me a HUWEI make phone for my conection No 22920301 in 2006,, but I cannot use this phone while electricity is disconnected due to the re charging battery is not working, this matter is reported to the concerned authorities but they told us that the batey is not available for replacement

CA number is unique per connection and one can find it with the MTNL bill. Incase you have lost your bills but remember your tel number ;) please see someone from MTNL customer support desk to help you get a duplicate bill/CA number.

My name is akash gidwani its bieng 10 days i applied for mtnl broadband connection but they came to my place on 12th Aug to install the phone and they told me that the bb will get install in nxt two days but nobody turned to my place after that day . The customer service is really horrible when ever im calling them they are not responding me in an appropriate manner .
This is something which is really making me crazy there customer service reps are saying that who asked you to apply for the connection we can,t do anything So, please make sure that some serious steps should be taken against them otherwise i need to file a case against MTNL because this was my first experience with them and which was really pathetic.

MTNL — creeping speed-MTNL -unresponsive attitude

Respected Sir,
I am using this MTNL pre paid 3G sim through a data card since last two months or so....my number is [protected]. I got unlimited connection for Rs.1650 last month but the speed i am receiving since last 10 days is like it is creepingband and not broadband. I have told at least three times to customer care and finally lodged a complaint on 21st of August vide no 297905. The authorities i have contacted here are also not responsive.
Please do justice.
