Mera 599 unlimited plan hai jo meine novmeber mein liya tha . is plan ke acc hame 0 to 2 Mb/sec ki speed batai gayi thi. ab MTNL Delhi ne plan change kar diya hai.1 Janurary se hame 256kb/sec . ke hisab se hame mil rahi hai. lekin hame purane plan se according spped milni chaiye...

mtnl broadband combo unlimited plan — broadband not working and no speed

The service is all time worse.
I have a using MTNL BROADBAND CONNECTION (TELEPHONE Number:[protected] with 256kbps combo unlimited plan at my residence with last two months the broad band is working most erratically. It comes one for a few minutes and goes off for many hours. Repeated complaints to 1504 have bore no results. I am really fed up of this connection. The download speed whenever the connection does work is never more than 10 to 25 KBPS. For the last few days the broad band has not been working at all. All the lights in the moded except the ADSL lights not work.

Those who are having problem with speed i would like to tell them that according to plan u will get 256kbps which is equivalent to 32kBps. where b=bits and B=bytes. 8 bits equals to 1 Byte. So i[censored] r getting 24-26 kBps then there is no problem with ur speed. i[censored] r getting lesser than this then contact customer care viz. 1503 for delhi. And if i have misinterpreted ur query then i m sorry.

MTNL Broadband — speed is not according my plan

my mtnl no is 27860281. i have a plan of 599 unlimited combo with 256 kbps speed. but we get only 50-120 kbps speed. we have complaint about it a lot of time but no action will be taken till yet.

As per my plan committed min. bandwidth is 512 but I am getting less than 90 kbps. I lives in West Delhi.

MTNL promise some thing and actually it is around 15% of that they committed. When I phone to complain cell atnumber 1504 it they put in hold for 30 minutes, then tired same story... no use.

I recommend people to switch to Airtel. there service is best. So switch to worst to Best.

My broad band is not properly connected &it is inoperative.Inspite of repeated complaints no one has even attended to my complaint.Besides other problems spilter needs to be replaced.MTNL has recovered monthly charges even though system was not working.Kindly improve customer services

I am having MTNL broadband plan 649. I am having problem with the internet connectivity. Some times it take very long to connect with the internet and some times it does not connect at all. Some times it goes off all of sudden and may never come back.

I have lodged a no. of complaint at 1504 and also at local exchange ( at Sect 6, Dwarka, New Delhi.) but of no result. The officers at exchange would promise to come and visit the house but never came!

when I inquire about the fate of my complaints at 1504 the gentleman told me that they forward the complaint to the concern area manager, but I have never received any call back from the area manager or any concerned officer on the basis of my complaints at 1504. I think there is no mechanism of getting feedback about the complaint at 1504.

The internet has become an essential part in life but the MTNL which promises to give best and responsible service is yet to understand it, that is why it is least bother about the complaints of its customers.

Broadband — change plan about unlimited downloading

i am new subscriber of internet of broadband. i aply the plan of 250/- per month one GB downloading but i found one GB is very short and in the 6 or 7 days the net covered one GB. After about 10 days i write an application to change my plan as UNLIMITED DOWNLOADING @750/- per month.I also submitted my GOVT. SERVENT CERTIFICATE in connection to reduce or conceesion to me in broadband bills. But yet not reply or respons given me by your hon'ble department, sir. I Dheeraj Saini is a Employee of Mirco Dynamics and currently using internet service of MTNL Plan : 256Kbps on phone no.27552209 for around 3 months on my Office Address, earlier the services were not satisfactory but since last 1 month they have become worse which has caused me and my company a lot of problems.

The speed as my plan should be 256 Kbps, but the net is not linked properly on a whole day.
The complaints regarding there matter the executive of the toll free no. 1504 many times by me but this problem is not resolved. Sometimes they ask me to contact the area manager who most of the times doesn't picks the phone.

mtnl broadband 599 combo offer — internet not working

hi my mtnl telephone number is 22130445 i am from new delhi i have complaint many times about my problem to customer care but i am getting no complaint so i kindly request the concerned autorities to look in to the matter .
I have been using airtel and MTNL broadband in delhi for the past few years. I far as i know on a 599 combo unlimited plan in MTNL the download speed does not exceed 33 KBPS. I too get around 29-33 Kbps. Same goes for an airtel 256 Kbps connection. People getting more than that are luck i guess..
If anyone knows a way to increase the speeds please let us know. Don't expect much from MTNL guys.

I have transfer my landline from kalkaji to khidhki village, malvi nagar. On that line broadband facility was available, but after a long await when line got activated there is no internet facility on it.

Hi to All,

This is the simple thing. Nothing is going in a wrong way..

For example when you purchase a broadband plan for 256kbps that is 256kilo bits per second not 256 kilo bytes per second.

You should get speed around 1/8th of the plan's speed. i.e., when using 256kbps plan then the speed would be around 25K-30K around.

So buddies please make your mind clear.. It could be only in that way if your plan is providing the speed upto 2mbps then you will get speed around 200-300kps.

It is a luck for many of the MTNL broadband user that they get 200-250kbps bandwith...
if some1 usingthe plan 256kbps unlimited 599 combo
then he should be getting maximum of 30kbps...
but i dnt know how people are getting so much bandwidth...i know no friend of mine who is geting 30kbps.all are enjoying 200kbps -250kbps (even if they live in my neighbor ) paying the same amount that i pay but am getting only 30kbps...and thats so unfair of MTNL..
Either every1 should get that speed or non...bcoz we all pay the same and desrve the same...

dear sirs: my broadband connection is not working for the last several days . this problem occurs whenever the weather is bad.in this country govt .companies do not bother to give rebate for the days service has not been provided. nothing can be done about this as the 'babus' consider themselves above law. .they are not answerable to common citizens. but they will crawl in front of their higher 'babus', leaders, etc.

I have upgraded my MTNL plan to TriB UL data-512 Combo, but i am still getting speed of my old plan. Also it was promised to the customers that as of 1st April 2010, we will be getting downloading speed upto 1 MBPS on TriB UL data-512.
Please can you escalate the issue because i feel i am being cheated since even after upgradation, i am still getting old speed.

At present we have the Broad band tariff plan DSL unlimited 1599. my number is 22036187 gives me a speed of 1.344Mbps. in the initial month the speed was good but after that it has drastically dropped. We have made several complaints and when ever, we call 1504 they say that speed issue they do not handle and give me other numbers to call which are as following : 26435000, 26432300, 26433000, 26451100,[protected] the incharge at each of the following numbers is not available at any time of the day and even after several complains to 198 the issue has not been solved. Time to Download: 67.107second(s) Your Bandwidth: 672.70Kbps (0.657Mbps) and its 6 Dec today and there is not much change in the speed.

We request you to do the needful at the latest.

I have gone through most of your complaints... I felt that most of you have miss-understood the concept of kbps. So, I would like to tell all of you that if your service provider MTNL is providing a speed of 512 KBPS (KILO-BITS PER SECOND), it means, that you are suppose to get a download speed of 64 kbps (kilobytes per second).

Please remember that 1 kilobyte is equal to 8 BITS. Hence, 64 kbps (kilobits per second) is equal to 512 KBPS (KILO-BITS PER SECOND). The service provider states the speed in term of KILOBITS, whereas, the PC/laptop shows you the speed in kilobytes.

    am using TriB_Combo_Unlimitedv2 plan . my broadband speed should be 256 kbps.
    my downloading speed become very slow reduced from 200 kbps to 20 kbps since 8th jan .i have done many complaints on 1504 and numerous e-mails, but my downloading speed is not increasing.Customer care only say watch in next 24 hour or wait till 3 clock or get your line checked by compklaining at 198 etc etc.

    Me also facing the same though i have opted for 1 mbps min.speed package. Dnt know wats wit the system. Thinks the server of mtnl is down now a days. V cant do really much except for wait n watch buddy. TC.

    um living in delhi and um using triband combo unlimited plan 256kbps from past one year ma download speed was like 256 230 kbps but from this jan the speed is declined to 30 kbps anyhow um paying the same amount for the connection i don't think these guys gonna fix it soon they just don't wanna work i wisited the mtnl exchange also they said 30 kbps is a good speed somebosy tell these 30kbps can u call that broadband one can use fixed line net service and get this kindaa speed i had complained thousand times but no action even their lineman are like bribesuckers everytime they visit i think nothing will be done
    well 256kbps = 32KBps ... so the speeds you guys are getting are pretty much according to what you should be getting.

      My name is Sandeep Singh Cheema putting up in G19/10 A Rajouri Garden New Delhi 27.

      I booked MTNL IP TV in the month of October 08, since then same has not been installed even after so many discussion with Aks Company Mr. Ankit and MTNL GM Mr. Chabbra Rajouri Garden Exchange Division.

      Even after continous followups no one is bother to turn around regarding the same.

      Every time got a commitment from Mr. Ankit from aks that same will me installed, nothing has even moved inch from its place.

      MTNL line is dropped at my residance in the month of Oct08 itself and i am receiving 0 amount bill every month but connection is still not installed.

      Please help me in resolving this issue ASAP.

      Yes...we too have had bad experience in Delhi.Inspite of being told that it will take 21 days when we booked in December, it is now over a month and they are dilly-dallying...if you ring them up, you get to talk to a different customer care executive everytime who can do nothing to help except give you assurance.Actually this is typical Beauraucracy...a good Idea can be Killed by the inefficient workmen of MTNL who will not let the implementation take place nor will they allow a private player to walk away with laurels...so internal bickering will doom this project.Instead go for Airtel's similiar offer and dump MTNL in the garbage coz that's where it belongs.
      the connection of IPTV was disconnected before it started. it was installed and disconnected and disconnected in September-2008. Due to examination of my son i never asked iptv to restart. whenever their phonecalls come we brought it in the notice to the iptv that we have no conncection. it is disconnected in Sept-2008.

      in the start of April-09 i got a phone call from iptv i told him all the story. he assured me that we will all the instrument provided to you and refund of security will be made within a week

      But instead of refund of security they slapped a rent of two months (feb and march-09).

      I have no iptv connection.

      Kindly help me to get back rent of two month.

      She maid tall promises but with no result. Ask her to keep her word to public befoe going to Consumer court.
      icontrol and trident sol (thr outsourced BPO) brought a bad name for Aksh Optifibre, a fine and listed company on Indian Stock exchanges. And If you are a AKS stock holder, write to the GM of the company about the same.

        I am MTNL broadband subscriber in delhi, my No is[protected].
        the problem is with MTNL's internet services, some times it stops responding and you need to restart the modem several times and it works fine for 3-5 minutes and same problem again...
        also it has blocked several sites, these sites fails to open and it show "page can not be found" or it simply takes URL to search page.

        because of this i am unable to use my official mails, portals. that really hampers my job.
        i can access the same in cybercafe & office LAN and through data card. but it doesn't works on my MTNL connection.
        i have tried reinstalling windows XP and other softwares, but it doesn't helps.

        few days earlier these sites were working fine on MTNL.

        This is to inform you that I am very old customer of MTNL. I have taken net connection in residents hostel AIIMS Delhi. Its been few months I have realised that MTNL has deteriorated Badly in providing customer services. we keep trying on phone and que will always be full. For instance now when I urgently need internet, there is some problem and its not working. I m trying but landing up in que since yesterday inspite of continously calling. I urgently need it. I was really taken back by this customer service. As I always debated that this company provide a good connection that we dont face any problem but now since few months when my net again and again stops working and I complain about it. I seriously feel that company should improve on customer service else you will start losing customers. though I have been your loyal customer since so many years but now i have to think hundred times before asking my friends to take this connection.
        I request you to pay attention on my complaint and please look into my matter as soon as possible.

          I have been experience trouble connecting to the internet since this new year 2009 because my telephone line is faulty. I have lost count of the number of times I called MTNL and broadband complaint dept and all I got was "call them not us" they gave some number where no body picked and that was the end of the story. I have a unlimited broadband plan and I pay Rs.1000 every month and I get this kind of pathetic service. The system sucks and no body bloody cares about the customer and the service they should be doing for which they draw their pay cheques every single month.
          My area is Bindapur, Uttam Nagar and my number is[protected]. It has been over a week that I have been constantly calling them but no answer from their side.

          I am MTNL TRI BAND Subscriber No. [protected] telephone number 26982810. For the last 5-6 days, I am regularly pursuing matter concerning with Digital Signature Certificate class 2 from your department, but I could not get till date. I have contacted on telephones 20075566, 20222526 and others but invain. I have tried many times to get the same online as per instructions laid down, but failure due to faulty server. Today, I made a request to Mr Yadav on telephone No.20222526, he told me that server will be rectified only from Mumbai Office, I will ask them to rectify the same. But it was not o.k. till late night
          today. More surprisingly the email provided as [protected]@mtnltrustline.com is also not responding always shows failed. I am completely not satisfied with customer service provided by your department.

          In the light of above, you are requested to kindly take necessary action in the matter at the earliest please. I am awaiting response in the matter please.

            I am using MTNL Triband installed with my phone no.[protected]. It became disconnected just after logged on frequently. I have tried to complaint the same at Phone No.22221504 mentioned in the monthly bill, but we have not received any reponse. Kindly sort out my problem immediately failing which i would be constrant to approch to consumer court.
            What you have written holds true in my case as well. Triband connection these days has become pathetic.I have complained twice but with out any response from the mtnl people.
            your triband internet service is not good better to stop the service.I have installed the connection since last month with in a month i face lot of problem till date.sometime internet is not connecting when internet is connected searching is not there.After that when we call on 1504 so many time there will be not reply at all.in such situation what can i do.should i stop the payment or disconnect the said connection.please, suggest

              Subject- msg service dysfunctional from the past 20 days

              My mobile no is [protected] and i have been constantly calling 1503 to lodge complaints and even after the complaints have been lodged no action have been taken for the same. I have not been able to text and MTNL has not taken any sort of action. The first complaint was lodged on 19th November 2011 and the second on the preceding day. No action has been taken.
              My sms service has not been responding for the last 20 days and everytime i send a msg it shows SENDING FAILED.

                  mtnl website claims a minimum of 256kbps in its triband unlimited 256 kbps. on joining i was provided with about 150 kbps and i had no problem with that. But then the speed reduced to pathetic 25kbps. i complained to mtnl customer care & they said the complaint has been forwarded and would soon be looked after but since a month the speed is still 25 kbps.

There is a regular follow up from your call centre on phone ...only and assured it will be done within 24 Hrs, but we wonder after how many months or years will those 24 Hrs come.

                    Despite many complaints nobody gas bothered to come over and check the problem. We are unnecessarily paying for the service which we are not provided with so same same should be refunded to us for the period it is unused due to the fault and restore the broadband urgently .

                      I have received bill of MTNL dolphin mobile No.[protected] for the month of Oct., 2008, which last date was 24th November, 2008 on 25/11/2008 and for the month of Nov 2008, which last date is 24th December, 2008 on 25/12/2008. Due to non payment in time late chagres Rs.20/- has charged. When I do not get the bill. How could I pay the payment in time. So late chages of Rs.20/- may be drop from my bill. In future please post the bill on net in time.

In the connection it is point out that rs. 585/- has been shown against Short Message Usage and Rs 43/- against Outgoing Airtime charges. The total amount of rs. 628/- has been shown for SMS & SENDINGpictures etc. In this connection, I have to information you that nither I have done any SMS to any body nor sent any picture to any body. Infect, I have Nokia set 2600 in which there is no Camera, Bluetooth facilities etc. which is required to send picture from mobile.

                      It is therefore requested that bill should be rectified and a revised Bill may please be sent to me, so that I can make payment. Further my connection of Mobile may please be disconnected immediately. I am not satisfied with the services provided by Dolphin MTNL.

                      Non-receipt of telephone bills in Najafgarh and surrounding areas. I, being a consumer of MTNL and also as President of Sarvanchal Sewa Sanstha (NGO) had taken up the matter with the MTNL authorities but none bothered to pay heed to. Vide my letter No. SSS/Pub.aff/2009-14 dated 6.3.2009 Regd.Post No. 7088 dt. 7.3.09), I brought the matter to the notice of MTNL's CMD. Unfortunately the CMD's office has also slept on the paper, resultantly, again the bill has not been received and penalty for late payment had to be paid. Shouldn't we congratulate the MTNL functionaries for HoD's support in their defective style of function ? I think such matters should be brought to the notice of the Ministry concerned by the public. After all it is the responsibilities of the service provider to make the bills of service reach the customer/subscriber.
                      Yes I do agree with the complainants especially regaring dolphin users. The company is simply earnig surcharge for its own fault as the delivery is never in time.Why don't they send the bill on our e- mail like they do for landline. We can pay in time if the bill comes to us through mail

I am one of the old customers of this service and holding this account from last three to four years .I am facing a very typical problem my mobile stopped working at my place i.e. in the area of Ram nagar(Pahar ganj) and in this matter I have lodged nearly 4750 written complaints, 320 complaints through phone and 1825 complaints through e-mail but till date nobody has responded to that .I have approached all the levels of MTNL even up to executive director level and CGM level but nobody responded as yet as people are changing loyalties from government to private subscribers but I have not changed my loyalty rather I also worked as brand ambassador of MTNL and suggested all my friends to have MTNL only and helped nearly 200 customers to buy MTNL card only but still proper service are not provided to me that may be some kind of conspiracy on part of someone that someone is trying to damage the image of MTNL after so much time yesterday dated 06 NOV 2006 your CGM Mr.Pachuari showed his inability to rectify the problem so all I request is to look into my complaint as I am forced to approach to this highest level and seek justice and some answer to my problem as this the case of a subscriber in Delhi then you can better understand what is the condition of a poor small town customer so sir please look into this matter and oblige.

                      Dear Sir/ Madam

                      I am new subscriber to MTNL Post paid Dolphin Service. I received my First Bill for Rs. 346/= and paid the same on 24.11.2012 at Sanchar Hut located at Chankyapuri. I received subsequent Bill showing that I had not paid the previous bill and levied surcharge. Sanchr Hut official told me to deposit the actual amount of the bill i.e. Rs. 174.00 s such I paid the same on 21.12.20012. However my current Bill i.e. Third Bill since I opted for a Post Paid again showed that I had not paid my previous balances and levied surcharges. I again went to the Sanchar Hut Chanakyapuri . They against instructed me to deposit the actual amount of Rs. 170/= . I paid the same on 19.01.2013. Since I have been paying the bills before the due date, why I am being charge late fees and why amount deposited at the Sanchar Huts are not showing up in my account details. Sanchar Hut official further advised me to contact Higher formation to get the Account corrected, as it is going to be repeated in the next billing also.

                      I shall appreciate if my account is corrected accordingly at the earliest My Account No. is [protected].

                      I shifted from Aircel to MTNL thinking it would be more transparent and prompt, but I was proved wrong as from the first Billing itself MTNL is creating problem for me. Due to this I m using Dolphin for the minimum, and I am again thinking of moving out to another company.

                        I took a mtna broadband connection
                        my plan is " briv combo unlimited plan " ... My phone is working but internet ... NO sign ... U just click and then wait wait ... MY work wants me to be on internet all the time .. I was staying in the office for 24hrs to surf the net ...
                        i SPEND 599 rs so that I can stay at my home and use this facility ...
                        mY internet broadband connnection working for one day in week ... its a weekly service ... I think that's why it works only once ina week ...                           My internet connection speed has become very slow form 1/december/2008.Earlier speed is 200kB/s, now it is only 20kB/s.I have talked to customer care, e-mail and register complaint on 1504.They call me and ask "What is the problem.".When i told them that speed is not coming.He said "Bas speed ki problem haina jee aur koi problem to nahi hai na.". That is what i am doing from one month.I don't know waht else to do, what happpen suddenly to speed of mtnl.I have talked to all of my freinds, same thing has happened to all of them.

                          No facility is being provided to check the remaining free MB allowed to download
                          Have you guys realised that with this callous attitude toward customer compalint your childrens are not going to get service in mtnl as there wont be anyone to have this connection, though you may save your service as you are still thinking in sarkari way that your salary shall be yours.
                          I have complaint for my broadband many times many places but no one care to attend it as all dumb are sitting there in call centre and chit chatting without bothering to register the complaints.
                          1504 helpline number remain purposely busy so that no one can send the complaint.
                          I you guys have little shame then attend to my net complaint.

                          my broadband connection provided with telephone 22711503 is not working since 04.04.09. I lodged a complaint with Mayur Vihar (Pocket IV) office on 04.04.09 but till date complaint has not been attended to.
                          I lodged a complaint on line also on 11.04.09 vide Docket No. 37784 but received only one phone call per day but fault not rectified tilldate.
                          I would request concerned officials to look into it and get fault rectified otherwise my purpose of having broadband connection is being defeated.

                              2. As seen above, three of our members are self- employed and also do have their own Cell phones. As we are either in business/ employment, we are continuously at the clients place providing them service. Hence the usage of the landline telephone at the above residential address would be NIL.

                              3. We are using the Service of MTNL only for receiving calls (Incoming facility)

                              4. For all our outgoing calls, we are using the services of the Reliance Communications, (copies of the Bill amount is attached below)

                              5. We have been continuously trying to minimize our bills.


                              6. Now, we are receiving bills from MTNL for the calls that were not made by us. If the same is analysed in detailed, then it comes to 30 calls per day only for MTNL leaving aside calls made from Reliance Communications.

                              7. We even communicated this matter with the MTNL Officers at Borivali (W) Branch and Poinsur Branch, requesting them to supply us the list of calls, which have fallen on deaf ears. We have been told to contact the Malad Branch, Santacruz Branch for the further queries. The officials have not accepted even our letters & have forced us to run from one office to another.

                              8. Also we have been informed that you have to pay the bills or the telephone connection would be disconnected.

                              9. We are attaching here-with all our previous bills. Hence considering the above circumstances, we request your guidance & necessary directions to your concerned department for providing us with the details of phone calls made.

                              10. All our bills have been paid in time & within one week of receipt.

                              11. We would reinstate that our timely payment even in protest & SILENCE should not be taken for granted. We have complete right to know our charges & failure to provide the same would result in legal consequence including complaint to consumer forum/ TRAI/DOT etc.

                              Self employed — excess billing

                              I am using bsnl broadband since january 2008 and have been receiving the monthly bill of rs.250/- only for broadband usage and the bill being of the minimum charges. I have paid all the bills on time since . Suddenly in Aug 2008 I got a bill of 19000/- for broadband usage which according to any imagination is very exorbitant.                               Kindly refer to your statement dated 6th Feb of 26th Feb 2009. I wish to point out some discrepancy in the debit columns and the actual reflection as debits.

                              The total debits as reflected in the statement is 3598.36. However, in the statement under the purchase column and debit balance it reflects an amount of Rs. 3848.36. The total excess payment of Rs. 250/- is being debited to me.

                                India's Telecom space in Public Sector is handled by MTNL (Mumbai & Delhi) and BSNL(rest of the country)

                                I am amazed the pricing differentials between BSNL and MTNL - BSNL Broadband is far cheaper than MTNL Broadband

                                Secondly, another amazing part is MTNL Delhi Broadband is far cheaper than Mumbai Broadband.

                                Mumbai MTNL guys are paying atleast 50% higher than their counterparts

                                I JUST DONOT KNOW WHY

                                WILL SOMEONE TELL ME ABOUT THIS OR EVEN THE TELECOM MINISTER

                                  I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO REACH MTNLCE THE LAST ONE MONTH BUT THE SERVICE HAS BEEN VERY DEROGATORY. THE CUSTOMER CARE IS NOT UPTO THE MARK AND NO COMPLAINTS ARE DEALT WITH IN STIPULATED TIME. THE INTERNET PLAN WHICH I HAVE TAKEN SAYS THAT THE SPEED AT WHICH IT SHOULD RUN IS 1 GBPS BUT IT DOES NOT CATCH MORE THAN 10 MBPS.
                                  PLEASE LOOK INTO THE MAATER AT YOUR EARLIEST.

Every time I was told by the customer care executive that my complaint will be resolved in next 24 hours and nothing will happen till now.I have also contacted the local Exchange and I called them 6-7 times and every time they said we are just sending a person and your problem will be resolved in 2-3 hours.I am now fed up of this MTNL ans their so called fake assurances.I want some legal action against MTNL.So I think some Legal Authority should see into this matter.I WANT ACTION NO ASSURANCES PLEASE.

                                    I had been complaining MTNL about the frequent disconnection of my internet connection from last 2 years. I am having a broadband and UT-300R2U ADSL Modem provided by MTNL with the connection. I am paying a rent of Rs. 80/- per month as a rent for using this modem. I had also complained them that the ethernet port of the modem is faulty & not working. I want them to take care of this problem or either replace the unit. But even after assuring no one turns to have a look at it. This is the worst kind of service by MTNL.

                                    MTNL Triband Connection — No connection made available after 8 months of payment

                                    Dear Sir/Madam,

                                    I had subscribed for MTNL Triband Connection on 9th August 2007 at the Samta Nagar Telephone Exchange bearing Work Order number 7882. Despite of innumerous followups I have not received any help in having the connection setup at my residence in 1-A-904, Whispering Palms, Lokhandwala Complex, Kandivali (E), Mumbai.

                                    They have charged me for installation and commissioning and also by bills have the monthly charge for Triband. The connection is not up and there is no help available to sort this out.

                                    Please suggest further course of action.

                                    From 3rd of April My Internet Connection ADSL - Triband connection by MTNL Mumbai is been down. Despite of trying several times to connect to their so called phone online support, the issue couldn't be resolved. I complaint on their 1504 Number for the same on 3rd April' 09 (Complaint No - 6748).
                                    There have been no response yet. It's almost a week now. I simply don't understand if the response rate is so quick ...i think it's really time to move on.

                                    As i reside at Navi- Mumbai, I called up at the local MTNL office and gave them several reminders of the complaint, Yet it's MTNL the great' No response. I just feel like suein them and i am writing a direct letter and going to visit the Chief Enginner and several others who might be the so called HOD of MTNL and notify them that from 3rd April ' 09 till the time my issue is not resolved, dare they charge me the rental or else i would take them to court.

                                    I have a MTNL Broadband Connection which i want to discontinue. We had checked with the Call Centre(1500) the details & proceedings that need to be carried out to discontinue services. We were told that we need to submit an application on the name of the Commercial Officer at the Hauz Khaz Office Delhi (As we stay at Saket) with the copy of the previous bill. On going there we were told that they can't accept the same as we need to submit the Modem as well for disconnection. Now the third time we had gone with the Modem now they need wires & clips as well. This too much of harrasment. Why can't we be told once for all that what all has to be submitted. It to much hassle with such poor services delievered. Please help us.

                                    MTNL Triband Internet connection provider says that in 599 combo plan he will give download speed up 200kbps.For half of month i got the speed but now the speed is 30kbps please take a sutable action as soon as possible.

                                    Internet Gets Disconnected frequently and it takes long time to come back. when ever a telephone call comes internet goes off some time led lights goes off and only power lights up. when we register a complaint MTNL personals just call only at 5 pm and say I am coming but my problem remains same. they are so lazy to work. If this goes on like this MTNL will loose all customers and run into loss.

                                    Personal — MTNL broadband disconnects

                                    Since 1 Month i am using MTNL Broadband at home....i took a plan which has a speed of 512 kpbs...... i got the speed and worked fine for me but from last15 days I was not able to use my internet as it frequently disconnects while using, my download speed reduced to 12Kbps only adn at times i dont even get the internet facility.....i made many complaint. Even their customer care guys dont have any resolution they just hang up the phone when i asked about my complaint and speed problem....In the initial days i was downloading on 50 Kbps which should be 512 atleast or not less that 150 kbps and suddenly what happen....i want to complaint this to the higher ranked officer....coz MTNL guys dont know here how to maintain their systems.my complaint no. is 64100224
                                    Please do the needful as from the past 15 days i am tired of complaining.

                                    My Internet connection was not working since 7/3/2010, during this period so many times i complaint on customer care no.1504/[protected]/1509 and 198 also.On each no. some one attended the call and when i tried to say my problem, the other person disconnected the call, then i wrote complain letter to the General Manager, MTNL, Dahisar(E) Mumbai-68 and contacted J.E.Mr.Tripathi personally several times and on his mob.no.[protected] and letter was also accepted by Mr.Saligram J.T.O on 17/3/2010 but my internet connection is not updated. Again i personally met D.G.M of Dahisar Mr.S.C.Upadhyay and contacted so many times on his mob.no.[protected], soon after he contacted Mr.Goyal D.G.M Network Section, Borivali on his mob.no.[protected], several times, after that J.E.Mr.Shaikh whose mob.no.is [protected] and J.E.Mr.Tiwari but both said it was MDF problem and updated my internet connection on 1/4/2010 and said that i'll get REBATE ON RENTAL CHARGES OF THE MONTH MARCH, also i given an application on 24/4/2010, reminder1 on 19/5/2010 and another complain letter to Mr.Tripathi and Mr.Rao on 27/5/10 but i have not got any rebate and D.E.Internal 5ESS AHISAR TELEPHONE EXCHANGE had on 12/6/10 that they cannot give any rebate to me because my triband was used during that period.
                                    I want to know who has used, my complain letter was in your office and your engineer was not able to make any correction to my internet problem.There is such type of corruption that your department is not able to satisfy the customer for my problem and i approached D.G.M, then my internet problem is solved.
                                    So please look the matter and oblige me as soon as possible and justify the matter.Such type of problem also was created two years before and your department didn't responded to my problem and every month i had paid more than Rs.1500/- per month upto one year and after that i disconnected my internet and after getting an assurance i took the connection again with different plan of Rs.495/- but this time again your department is harrasing.

                                    PATHETIC SERVICE OF MTNL

                                    I had made my first complaint about net not working on 8th August 2010 by MTNL brodband service(1504) my docket no. was 2771. On which is was figured out that the probelem is in the line as the ADSL LED was not on. But the next day it was found out that the modem is not working properly. Till Wednesday 11th August 2010 nothing was done.Finaly I called Mr Raina, but I was connected to Mr Gaware and told him that the modem is faulty and to change it. Till Friday the modem was not changed and the MTNL would just call up asking whether the line is working or not...On Friday the modem was changed which was faulty again. I was told that the new modem is not available and that this would be on temparary basis. Since then I have made many new compalints regarding the same but I get the message that the complaint is alraedy registered with docket no. 8800. I am paying 1000/- per month for this net service. And I am getting a pathetic service.Why should I pay MTNL the amount if I am not getting my Net service?

                                    MTNL Broadband — Broadband not working/Faulty modem

                                    My broadband is not working since the last one month. Spoke to Mr. Upadhyay but the response is that 'we are not charging you for the modem and we do not have a spare now. If you are in a hurry, go to Navrang and buy a new one at your own cost!!' What Mr. Upadhyay seems ignorant about is that we are still paying internet usage monthly charges.
                                    Everytime I complain, I recieve a message on my phone that the complaint has been attended to. I wonder what do they mean. Nothing has changed.
                                    The service is lousy and so is their officers attitude!!
                                    Internet on my desktop is not working since last 3 months. I have made several compliants through 27562198 but the same were not attended. Later on 2nd March 2011 I personally went and registered my compliant with the Officer on the Table Mr. Yadav who assured me send the attendent by evening on same however the person has till day not come. I had called Mr. Yadav on Thursday and asked him why my complaint has not been attended despite 6 days of compliant in writing. He said that he will send the person today but again there is no visits from the mechanic or line man. Today again we have called Mr. Yadav and he so rudely said that he does not have person hence our complaint can not be attended. If any of the senior officials of MTNL are seeing please help us getting the issue resolved. Though I am paying rent the service is not available.
                                    first i was told before 3 months when i visited mtnl office that you will get 256 speed for both download as well as upload but now you are giving only 50k/b upload speed...i and my friend are now going for other connection in few days this is very bad...service

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      I have been repeatedly complaining to the MTNL Broadband department (1504) for the past month that my broadband is not working.

                                      Their response has repeatedly been to contact the Area Manger beause my line does not have sufficient voltage. The Area Manager is impossable to contact. Even reaching the General Manager has been futile. all I've been doing is running around in circles calling up virtual mtnl offices, running up a real bill and reaching nowhere.

                                      It's like purchasing a branded home appliance and the Company tells me that the motor that was oputsourced is faulty and I should take my complaint to the outsourced vendor.

                                      I have recently been connected with a broadband connection[protected] about 2 weeks ago. The email address of mtnl allocated to me seems not active. I must have called different officers from MTNL including the 1504 service but till date i am not able send my outgoing emails ( VSNL ID ) from my Microsoft Outlook. I have even taken a Static IP which was alloted on 29/12/2008.

                                      The persons at 1504 are not aware how such a problem can be solved.

                                      Can you please have someone competent to speak to me on 24021407 to please guide how this problem can be permanently solved.

                                      You can appreciate the anxiety faced by me as I am unable to send outgoing emails since inception of connection.

                                      Most of the times the persons do not answer the phone number 24329434 which is considered as helpdesk number.

                                        This is to inform you that I have an MTNL broadband connection, tel no[protected]. My broadband is not working for the last one month., for that I had lodged the complaints many times, but still its not working... Last complaint no is 41601052 .

                                        The broadband connections is not working continously, its keeps on disconnected automatlcly for 10-15 minutes.. and this ON - OFF keeps on going . I have made many complaints but the internet connection has not been repaired.

                                        The funnest part of logging the complaint at the 1504 is they tell you to dial 197 and take the number of the Gerneral Manager / Area manager to log your compalint . Once a complaint is logged it the the duty of the concern dept to get it rectified . I don't understand why don't they publish the GM / AM numbers instead of 1504 .

                                        And even if some body come to see the problem then they don't solve the problem . They say it is not my problem, this is line man problem and when lineman comes he says it is not their problem . It is internet people problem .

                                        And this ways not only days but months passes aways, keeping you on the great trouble .

                                        My experience with MTNL, it is good as long as it is working .But once you have the problem they have the worst service support people with them .


                                        Please look into the matter and arrange to get the internet problem solved at the earliest.

                                        i had recently got installed internet connection on my phone no. 25286720 about 15 days back. Since last 15 days there is not connectivity for approx 12 out of these 15 days. Repeated complaints at phone no. 25252111at MTNL Paschim Vihar office are of no avail. Last complaint was made on 4.3.2009. it is informed that matter has been alloted to line man who has not reached so far. subsequently i was advised to contact their officer at phone no. 20047677, which no. has not taker.i request to either provide the connectivity or to disconenct the internet and refund installation charges as disconnection is requested due to offering of no facility.

                                        Due to your extreme service .I got lots of mentally harassment and I have'nt, left any energy
                                        to tolerate this .I have made a big mistake by having your internet connection. I have
                                        took internet connection on 27/02/09 it works good only for a month.After that problem got
                                        start it doesn’t work from 6/04/09. I made lots of Complains but I got nothing instead of
                                        a complain number .It is a great way to made fool of customers. I also attached few

                                        If this continues then I am sorry to say that I dont have another option to go to Consumer Court against MTNL Delhi... which is making fool of broadband subscribers. MTNL DELHI should suspend their staff which is not efficient in their work rather than suspending the broadband connection...

                                        My telephone number is 26026569 and consumer no. [protected]. Since past 3 weeks internet is not functioning at all. I am trying to speak to the service person Balram singh ([protected]/[protected] he is not receiving my call. Last Saurday I waited for the entire day, he was supposed to visit but did not turn up.

                                        For the past 7-8 months the net connection is giving me trouble. Every time I call the customer care executive at 1504. It takes 20 mnts to 50 minutes to get the line.

                                        After telling my problem, I get the connection but again after 7-8 days it gives the same problem- the ADSL light of my modem MT 882 blinks and net gets disconnected. Complain details:

                                        The Broadband connection is not working continusously, it keeps on disconnected automatically for 7-10 minutes and this OFF-ON keeps on going.

                                        It is very unfortunate that after lodging so many complaints till date my internet connection has not been repaired. The funniest part of lodging complaint at 1504 is they will ask to dial 197 and contact the number of GM/Area Manager to log on the complaint. Once the complaint is logged it is the duty of the concerned department to get it rectified. Moreover, instead of sending an Engineer who can take up the matter a MTNL Lineman is sent to see the problem who has ZERO knowledge about the internet. And this way not only days but months are passed away keeping the customer on great trouble. I must mention that my experience with MTNL, it is good as long as it works but once the problem occurs, MTNL renders worst service support with the customers.

                                        I humbly request you to kindly look into the matter and arrange to get the internet problem solved at the earliest.
