This is regarded as highly unprofessional and unethical behaviour of MTNL that it charges excess billing. Iam using Dolphin Post Paid connection for quite some time and to my surprise - last month the bill was huge.
Total outstanding bill amount is Rs 1853/- which is huge.
Firstly, The excess amount charged is towards GPRS (Internet usage).
When I called customer care and enquired - they told me that GPRS is not activated ob your phone but data usage is showing. Also, I have never requested for GPRS activation.
Secondaly, my credit limit is Rs 1500/- per month maximum - how come the bill is generated beyond the limit.
Thirdly, STD is not activated on my but still STD numbers are billed on my number.
I have sent several email and also one fax to MTNL but still no response.
Please advise what to do next???

When I called customer care and enquired - they told me that GPRS is activated of your phone but data usage is showing. But, I have no usages of GPRS in November month. Only GPRS amount is above to Rs 700/-
Secondly, STD is not activated on my phone
I want to disconnect GPRS in Customer care but still no response. Done by me request of 11/12/09 1.30PM in Customer care afternoon day.
Please advise what to do next???
