Dear Sir,

I am subscriber of MTNL broadband service (Delhi) on 26310069, My broadband connection is not working from last 8-10 days.

i have lodged number of complaints on 1504, no solution is provided till now, every time i lodge a complain they give one compain number and next day, person will call and ask about it and thats it.

No body is giving positive response, i dont know where to go and do a compain.

Please provide some help to me, i am in bizarre after taking the Internet connection from MTNL delhi.

I have a MTNL Broad band connection at my residence with telephone No.26177607. For the last few months the broad band is working most erratically. It comes one for a few minutes and goes off for many hours. Repeated complaints to 1504 have bore no results. I am really fed up of this connection. The download speed whenever the connection does work is never more than 19 to 25 KBPS. For the last few days the broad band has not been working at all. All the lights in the moded except the ADSL lights work.
I WANT 2 REACHARGE MY ACCOUNT IN ROAMING WITH ANY BANK HDFC OR ICICI OR STATE BANK OF INDIA

We are a citizen of India and leaving in Delhi since birth are facing problem with MTNL services. It is 6 months and we have been struggling to get a problem rectified with our Broadband connection, however, no one at our regional office of MTNL – Sanchaar Haat has taken any action.

    Respected Sir,

    I am Trunal naik resident in (bhayander). in our socity b wing Mobile Tower installing process started at the terrace of our 4 storey building. I have heard that mobile towers emits harmful radiations effecting mainly children and senior citizens. Now the mobile company for that proposal b wing society is receiving a huge amount. Kindly guide us, as we are not sure about the ill effects of the mobile tower. Awaiting for quick response.

    Dear Sir,

    We had been associated with MTNL from 2009 and we had permitted the erection and installation of cell towers at our premises as mentioned above with all legal formalities to be completed by your company. From long time we have been questioned by the members about the radiation check which was requested to your representatives on phone and technicians who visit our site, we have been demanding the permission obtained by your company from BMC to erect and install the cell towers which we have not received till date.

    Legally on 2 towers can be erected and we have 4 towers so those who have obtained the permission from BMC will be allowed to stay and other towers will have to be terminated .

    We read newspapers were it seems our society will be in trouble for not obtaining the permission from the BMC. Apart from this there is service tax on rental which has not been taken care at the time of agreement and it has not been paid by your company. Now in this Service Tax and BMC permission if not addressed by your company in 7 days from the date of this letter, we will presume that the agreement entered is terminated and you are liable to remove your cell tower from the site.

    We hope this issues are serious and has financial and legal implications and we don't want to invite this trouble. Hope we get the positive response.

        My MTNL landline phone No.[protected] has been dead since more than a month. Regarding the same I have complained numerous times since then but to no avail. Because of the phone being dead the Broadband(with a monthly rental of Rs 750) is also not working. So effectively without any usage of the phone & broadband and after pathetic customer service I will still have to pay a sum of over 1000 Rs, which is not acceptable.

        My address is 1211, sector-8, R.K.puram, New Delhi - 110022 and the area falls under Bhikaji Cama Place MTNL office.

        MTNL — Phone Died and broadband internet connection is not working

        Hi,

        My number is 25332771.Ten days before I have register my complain for internet and telephone.MTNL people visited one time and told us this problem is from backend. we will correct that.

        Now I have tried every Helpline number of MTNL. Either they put on my call on hold. I have tried 20 times to register my call. In the end a lady pick the call and told me this is the technical problem. In this way once again I am loosing my interests on MTNL services.


        Please help.

        MTNL / Landline with broadband — Landline dead for near a month

        Hi All,

        I have already complained multiple times to the MTNL - Mira Road ( East ) branch but found no response from their side.

        The details of the complaints are as follows :

        Complaint no.1 : Date : 30/4/12, It was filled with the help of message for telephone no. 28107971 with Dkt. no "2421"

        Complaint no. 2 : Date : 9/5/15, It was filled in the MTNL office itself of Miraroad East branch having complaint no. 9787

        So I request you to please look into these issue and help us get the positive response from there side as this is hampering our work drastically.

          but the connection brokes very frequently they didnt told me this earlier

            MTNL GPRS ACTIVATION IS VERY SLOW.

            I get recharge Rs14 Unlimited GPRS for 3 Days.
            Fist i got that message my balance is less.
            I called Customer Care They Inform me that minimum balance requried is Rs27.
            I get the Rs50 Recharge is Rs44 talk value.
            I done again Activation message which i got reply GPRS Setting And Activation will be done with in some hours.
            Night 8:00 PM message was send Morning 7:39 AM i got again message Minimum requirement is Rs50.
            I get again call to Customer Care they again Minimum Balance should be Rs27 not Rs50.
            And Asking me to wait again 12 to 24 Hrs.

            I had rechage Day before to use GPRS by Customer Care.I was inform to rechage
            and then wait for 12 Hrs. I waited for next day i am not getting the service that i had paid for.
            12Hrs pass when i request for ACTIVATION and 24Hrs pass when i get rechage Rs14 Unlimited plan coupan. waiting...for when the service. will get done activated

            Asking the question USER are paying to use the service not to wait for the service.
            The plan is started when is get rechaged and still not yet activated.
            The is not complaint it is the request to make service fast.
            All companies are asking to wait 1-2Hrs for activation and actication is done instanly.

            We are the user because of which the companies are running not companies running, so atlest give facility to us not demand time by us of the hole days.

            I Feels that Rs64 is Rs50 + Rs14 is wasted.

              I have been complaining about my telephone instrument not functioning properly since last several days and it is almost dead by now.

              In response to complaint, the maintenance staff who visited my residence guided me to lodge official written complaint, as after inspection he found the instrument to be faulty.

                I am a user of mtnl dolphin user, mobile no [protected]. Yesterday, I mistakenly subscribed some wap service from mtnl gprs services and I got a message from[protected] saying that "Thanks 4 subscribing to Unlimited Pack. Your total cost is Rs. 30/-" and Rs 30/- was deducted from my balance. As told by the Dolphin customer care executive I sent a SMS as "UNSUB Unlimited Pack" to[protected] but response received is Unknown Keyword and again a balance of Rs. 30/- was deducted. Please refund the second Rs. 30/- which got deducted for the Unsub message as per the instruction of Dolphin Customer care and deactivate this service from my no.

                I am a user of mtnl dolphin user, mobile no [protected]. I had cosed gprs since December 2009 However, my money cut Rs. 90/- every month since January 2010 Total deducted amount Rs.270/- and I got a message from[protected] saying that "Thanks 4 subscribing to Unlimited Pack. Your total cost is Rs. 270/- was deducted from my balance.                   Urgent!!! My complaint is regarding the payable amount of the Broadband Usage Charges on my landline bill dated 6/12/09.There is some or the other discrepancy. It can never be so much. We are shocked!We opted for TriB_200P which charges about Rs.250 per month but the charge is coming at Rs.4543.84 for the month of November only. We were not given any username and password by the MTNL during the installation. We guess that someone else is also using our number. We didn't download anything from the Internet, just visited some sites and listened to some music but the shocking thing is that the broadband charge is coming at Rs.4543.84 for only that. And even we were away for 10 days in the month of November(billing month). We have submitted complaints to MTNL online system. Hope everything goes well in time. Please suggest us some measures to be taken in this regard. Thank You Sir/Madam!

                    Hello Sir,

                    I am writing this mail in complete anguish and disgust. There is no care for the customer at MTNL.

                    There has been no reply to my queries from MTNL sent to you below and on top of that i saw today online that my bill has come close to 2500 Rupees.

                    I changed the plan to Unlimited from 31st of Oct 2009 and the work order was also released to that effect and i personally went to the Rajouri Garden office for that and they said that my plan is changed to the unlimited plan with 512 KBPS speed with 999 Rupees rental and now i see bill of 2500 rupees.

                    Pls reply immediately or pls disconnect my services with immediate effect as i wont be able to pay such exhorbitant amount everytime.

                          MTNL Broadband — Broadband connection not provided

                          I had booked a new combo plan connection about three weeks ago at Dwarka. Although the phone has been connected[protected], the Broadband has not been provided till date.

                          Sir,
                          I have applied a telephone connection with broad band service with new connection on 3rd April 2009 and telephone was installed on 5th April 2009, but internet is not installed. Moreover the phone was not working till 20.4.2009. After repeated complaints, now the phone is working after 20.4.2009. They cancelled my booking for internet on 12.4.2009 and kept me in the plan of Rs 250 with 60 calls free. I again booked for internet with Modem on 20.4.2009. Modem is installed, but the internet is not working till. Lineman came 3-4 times, but he is unable to do the same. My phone numbers is 26242578 Despite complained to customercare and in concerned telephone exchange no positive response received. Kindly help me to rectify the deault and ask mtnl to send the bill after sorting the problem.

                          I had applied for Broadbank Internet connectivity. Telephone has been installed but till now they have not provided me with the Internect Connectivity. One day they came and installed the phone and told me to get the Computer upgraded (also provided their own contact), thereafter they said the modem is not receiving or holding the connection and replaced it, but till today no internet connection has been provided. I tried to submit complaint also through 197/198 but that number is not at all responding and is very unclear.

                          I request that the same may be rectified at the earliest, else I do not have any option but to claim damages.

                              Wake up guys before it is too late. It is so sorry to see the only public mobile service network has been working so lethargically when so many competitor are in the market which are offering various offers to its customers. I the user of mobile No.[protected] since the last 6/7 years in the Economy 300 plan have been forced to stick to you’ll even though as much I want to move out because of my number. It’s not that I cannot still change but I am happy for the number I got but overall everything else on your part is disgusting.
                              You’ll have been these days promoting 3G services but when you’ll actual 2G or GSM network is so horrible. Network goes for a toss especially areas like Mindspace in Malad and other parts of Link road up till Dahisar. I have faced issue with the network even in Churchgate. I see other network holder nicely chatting in elevators whereas your network goes for toss. Each time I have to go for manual network selection to fetch it back. Great going guys. Had I been other networks by now I would have been automatically upgraded based on the long relationship for STD/ISD services just to delight being a customer. But you’ll working in snail pace where do you’ll value customers whether customers comes or goes you’ll are least interested. You’ll want customers to beg before you’ll for basic things. You’ll have been offering these services to Trump customers at peanut rates but for us we have to pay deposit but for what when STD rates have fallen to as low as local call rates and some service providers have gone much lower to it . I am not a person who needs STD or ISD calling but out of sheer respect or value for customer being so long with you’ll I would have felt happy if it was extended to me. Even though when call rates are falling so low when some providers are offering calls on second basis these days.
                              The rates which I have been having is still high. Infact you’ll don’t come with any schemes unlike other service providers offering based on customer requirements and usage with freebies even attached likefree sms or free local calls to home network or local networks etc etc. When would you’ll change your outdated plans. Or is it that you’ll don’t have a good marketing department or team who could promote or make MTNL services more efficient or is it that marketing dept works only for prepaid customers on Trump network. Wake them up before it is too late coz once number portability arrives I foresee things would be disastrous to you’ll. The government or the TRAI is trying so hard to help public sectors like you’ll to withstand competition but looks like only BSNL is working towards it and you’ll have taken things for granted. Great going guys.
                              If I have an issue for anything other service providers have given centre’s across to walkin almost working 12 hrs a day. But it is sickening on your part where I have to only go during morning hours leaving work behind at your exchanges to meet up with old or inefficient duds in shanty cabins provided by you’ll and out of which only few are good enough to talk and rest are with arrogance and least of customer service etiquettes. As much did I try to have the number changed in my name as it was ideally bought for me from my father’s name as he doesnot use it but your so called service as informed by me by your guys at an exchange doesnot have the option to have the name change option once it is registered. Why when other service providers do it in a jiffy with whatever documentation required. You’ll would give this same number to somebody else even though registered in my name after few months once it is cancelled but not now. Isn’t it sickening.
                              Even the MTNL land line rates are so high without and good plans when mobile rates have become so low when things would change. I am sure there might bee thousands of disconnection happening these days when people are preferring to have mobile at home rather than keeping landlines at home because of the call rates or no good plan options.
                              All I can conclude by saying is come up with a change before it is too very late. Revamp before the time passes by.

                              I had taken a mobile connection with MTNL Dolphine Service 1 year before. I am residing nerul sec-48 area their they dont have network. I had complainte hundred times as writen comp. and also called hundred times to their customer care but no positive response. So many MTNL subscribers turned to private players. But still i am contiue with MTNL because the no. portability not allowed yet. Very modestly requesting them to improve their netwok service effectively.

                                my mobile no [protected] and on an average i pay monthly bill around rs. 900 pm , last 15 days whenever i want connect to gprs message coming out gprs not subscribed, but my gprs service was activated since last 2 years, when today around 5.30 pm i call on 1503 the call attended position no 15, 21 everytime thay are sending configure but it is not activiating, then i stop calling but at about 6.00 pm i call 1503 message is coming press 1 for hindi then 0 for customer care executive then immediately they cut the line intentationally to avoid a bonafide customer. what funny matter



                                sir will you please ask the chairma of mtnl whether he will be able to activate my gprs service my set is nokia 3250

                                i am holding a telephone connection bearing no 23360042, service provider is mtnl, last 2 days i have contacted with Mr. tajinder may be sdo bearing tel no.20590007 and requested him that the above mentioned telephone no, has been cross connected with some one whenever i made call to some one every time some other voice is coming out. everytime he said i will do. Sir, will please ask the chairman of mtnl is it the role of a service provider towards his paid customer.

                                worst service ever, the service is superly bad.today is 27jan 2010 and the conection is like no network available.it is more better to buy airtel, vodafone, idea, aircel.dolphin is worst.the service vainish away anytime bwtween important conversation too.facilities are very slow too.and no response from customer care.they do not inform before hand.i personally suggest dont buy this service at all.untill they are responsible enough to gain faith of custormer back.today i am really anoid with network as i was stucked in very lonely placer in delhi and was unable to contact anyone.this is really bad network.my number is [protected].

                                  2. PH: 28012345 GM’SOFFICE, P.A.TO GM MRS NIAR WAS NOT CONTACTABLE SO THE OPERATOR GAVE ME THE NUMBER OF OTHER DGM MR. SHARMA PH 28616600 BUT COULD NOT BE CONTACTED AS THE TIME WAS 5:30P.M.+, BUT GMS OPEARTOR GAVE ME OTHER NO MF. MR. CHAWAN – TRIBAND INCHARGE, PH 28662400 AND FORTUNATELY I COULD TALK TO HIM BUT HE ALSO TOLD ME THAT SIR 5:30 IS ALREADY PASED NOBODY IS AVAILABLE NOW – I TOLD MR CHAWAN THAT IT IS NOT MY LOOKOUT, IT IS YOUR MATTER.

I MADE CALL AGAIN TO DGM’S OFFICE BUT THE SAME REPLY THE DGM IS ON LEAVE AND THE OTHER DGM SIR SHRI SHARMA HAS NOT YET COME TO OFFICE, SO I CALLED UP THE GM’S OFFICE WHERE I HAD A WORD WITH MRS.NIAR, BUT SHE WAS ALSO NOT PRESENT TODAY AS SHE IS NOT KEEPING WELL SO I HAD BEEN DIRECTED TO MR. CHAWAN – TRIBAND INCHARGE & MR YADAV D.E. PH 28012000 / 28082000, UP ON HAVING WORD WITH THE D.E.

                                  HE REPLIOED THAT THERE IS SOM RACK PROBLEM SINCE LAST ONE WEEK & WE ARE TRYING TO SORT OUT THE SAME,

                                  SO I CHECKED WITH HIM ABOUT ANY ALTERNATE SOLUTIONS IN SUCH A BREAK OR PROLOMNGED REPAIR WORK,

                                  HE COULD NOT REPLY TO THE QUERRY.

                                  4. NOW AT LAST THE TECHNO MAN FOR TRI BAND (BADGE NO. 57923) MR.I.R.YADAV CAME TO MY PLACE @ 2.45P.M. AND WITH IN NO TIME HE SORTED OUT THE PROBLEM AS DESCRIBED AS DNP – I HAVE NO CLUE ABOUT THE DNP.

                                  NOW AS A MATTER OF THE I HAVE BEEN MENTALLY HARESSED BY MTNL DEPT AND DUE TO WHICH MY BLOOD PRESURE SHOOT-OP TOO SO WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE HEALTH & MENTAL AGONY AND I HEREBY PUT A CLAIM FORWARD OF RS.1,50,0000/- AS ACOMPENSATION OF LOSS TOWARDS THE HEALTH & MENTAL HARESSMENT OTHER LOS OF PROFIT IN MY BUSINES TOO.

                                  PLEASE TAKETHIS MATER TO YOUR UTMOST SERIOUSNES AND REVERT BACK WITH SOME SOLUTION AT YOUR EARLIEST.

                                    Hi, I am using MTNL telephone and internet services from past 10 months. But phone is almost in dead condition. And internet doesn't work most of the time. At present both services are closed from 5 days. I have given 5-10 complaints but no response. Please if you can do anything then do.

                                    I've purchased a triband 512 kbps connection, and am really disappointed with the services that are been offered.
                                    The connection was working superb only for the first two days, after which the connection was down for a day.
                                    On lodging a complaint, a person from the telephone exchange called up to verify the complaint, after which the connection was working fine for about 2-3 hours.
                                    Now, its been the 3rd day that the connection is down. Sometimes, intermittent connectivity is provided.
                                    Upon lodging a complaint, I've been told that a complaint has already been placed, and that the issue would be resolved.

                                    I dont understand how are we supposed to lodge a complaint, if the IVR does not allow us to lodge one.
                                    Secondly, I dont understand why do I have to disconnect my main telephone line for connecting to the internet (whenever it's available)... I'm paying for a broadband connection, and not for a dial up. I do expect my phone to work, when I'm on the internet.

                                    This seems to be a fraudulent publicity for Broadband.. when actually the meaning of Broadband is not understood by their own technicians....

                                    I would really expect some action on this...
                                    If no action is taken, then I would really appreciate if my internet connection is restored, and works as expected...

                                    I had made my first complaint about net not working on 8th August 2010 by MTNL brodband service(1504) my docket no. was 2771. On which is was figured out that the probelem is in the line as the ADSL LED was not on. But the next day it was found out that the modem is not working properly. Till Wednesday 11th August 2010 nothing was done.Finaly I called Mr Raina , but I was connected to Mr Gaware and told him that the modem is faulty and to change it. Till Friday the modem was not changed and the MTNL would just call up asking whether the line is working or not....On Friday the modem was changed which was faulty again. I was told that the new modem is not available and that this would be on temparary basis. Since then I have made many new compalints regarding the same but I get the message that the complaint is alraedy registered with docket no. 8800. I am paying 1000/- per month for this net service. And I am getting a pathetic service.Why should I pay MTNL the amount if I am not getting my Net service?
                                    my phone is dead since 10 june 2011 and complaint was raised on 11 june 2011 complaint 1087 and my telephone no is 27040664.Called all the officers in ecchange and they are saying that it will be fixed but no one called and came to fix the issue and my internet was not working properly for a month.Most corrupted and unprofessional people work there.

                                    My name is Pulkit & I stay in B-107, Jhilmil Colony. I have subscribed to MTNL Broadband service since last 3 years. The service has been good & if some problem is received, on reporting to MTNL, help is received.
                                    But since last 3 months, there has been a lot of problem in MTNL service. The internet line is full of disturbance. Though there have been a number of compalints done (more than 15 times) to MTNL customer care, not much support is provided. I guess as MTNL is a government organisation, its is hardly careful about a troubled customer.
                                    I am very dissapointed with the MTNL people as they are not even trying to correct the problem. I have even called MTNL SHO many times but I have never received any response.
                                    Please help me put this complaint to MTNL senior officers that there is a problem which can be resolved but MTNL officers in east delhi (office is at AGCR) are unwillling to do that.
                                    Dear visitors of this site pls pay attention as I m going to tell u about "MTNL 3G jadoo DATA CARD" 3.5 Mb/s ... Now pls dont believe in them because of following reasons

                                    1) 3.5 Mb/s is the modem's CAPACITY . ( not the speed that u get )
                                    2) gets DISCONNECTED frequently
                                    3) No support from MTNL staff ( if it is pre-paid then very bad )
                                    4)Speed u get ( as per what i got till now 300Kb/s Dwn speed )
                                    5) HSDPA signal ( means 3 g signal ) which is not always available . ( in this case u will be using normal 2 g INTERNET )
                                    6) 3 g NETWORK NOT AVAILABLE EVERYWHERE .

                                    I HAVE THIS AND I M USING THIS JUST BCOZ OF THEIR RATES !!!!!!!

                                      No Network for Dolphin subscribers in IC Colony Borivli (W) since the 11th of Nov '09. Numerous complaints to 1503 said that my instrument is faulty, have refused to give complaint no by disconnecting line. With difficulty i was able to register No.CC 9120958 finally visited QSS centre Borivli 24/11 who confirmed no network, spoke to DGM Mr. Ghoel and in turn asked to contact GM Shrishankar. Mobile Services Provider. who is not available for last 24 hrs. His secretary said that she will pass the message, as he is busy at meetings. I have been given to understand that MTNL will not be able to provide the said service for for another 15 days, so how are they going to compensate us not only for defincies in services but also for not informing subscribers thru their help line who are not informed what to tell the subscriber.
                                      There is no response from MTNL . All subscribers like mysel[censored]sing the service throught the day baring officegoers have been affected. I am the head of the ICCRWA organisation in IC Colony having to communicate with the BMC. Police NGO's and residents in the area what is MTNL's response. This needs to be solved immediatly and compensated for Are the Concerned personnel not aware of the problem?
