[Resolved]  MTNL IPTV — Pathetic services of MTNL/AKSH Optifibre

I ordered MTNL IPTV on Dec 26th 2008.and it was installed on a separate phone No. 28532915 in January 2009. . However since since then I have been facing the problem with the same. The screen freezes after every 20 seconds and I am not able to watch any programme.I even informed the same to the customer care on 17th Jan 09 vide Complaint No. [protected]. Please note that since installation of IPTV we have not used the same on account of this problem. Also please note that I am making daily complaints to all your senior executives and till today nobody has turned up to rectify the same.

This is really frustrating and hence I would like to discontinue the service of MTNL IPTV through AKSH Optifibre Ltd, with immediate effect.

I have given the security deposit check of Rs 999, fvg AKSH Optifibre Ltd. which I would like to refund me immediately due to inefficient and pathetic services.Also i do not want any bill to be sent to me.

Aksh's complaint redressal system is non-existent. Repeated complaints to their call-centre are an exercise in futility. It seems the MD/Chairman or whoever is managing Aksh optifibre is either a sarkari employee who does not bother about anything except his salary or an ex-clerk of a municipality of a small town.
I ordered MTNL IPTV on 03rd Feb. 2009 and till date it is not been installed on a phone No. 28361005. I tried to make several call on the customer care no. i.e. on 126555 & 126777 but nobody is replying.

I have given the security deposit cheque of Rs. 999/- which I would like to be refunded to me immediately or send my cheque back to me.

My Telephone No is 22241396 and one of the paid Subscriber of IP TV controlled by Aksh TV. While free IP TV was being offerred in our Society, i did not opt for the connection. I am one of the few ie 1 or two unfortunate persons who had subscribed for the IP TV in my society ie PHARMA APOPARTMENTS 88 IP EXTENTION DELHI-110092.. I have been makinng almost daily complaints to Aksh since[protected] but till date no body has bothered to attend to my complaint. Every time I am assured that my complaint would be attended in 48 Hours. The same p[roblem has been faced by me about a month back and for almost 10 days there was no response. I am now fed up with your services and request that the connection should be disconnected as you are unable to provide service as promised.
My family cannot afford to miss the continuity of the Searials and if you can not provide un interupted please disconnect my connection and I would like to switch over to Cable TV which is much better and has unintereupted service.and also return my security.

My Telephone No is 29567716 and one of the paid Subscriber of IP TV controlled by Aksh TV. i have asked for broadband connection which, i have giving a written complain againt the non fullfilment of the verbal complaint made to yours customer care call center. i have complaint againt the disconnection of my IPTV since Saturday(4th April 09), i made around 20 - 30 calls in the customer care about the problem a recieved a good number of Reference number to call and complain about the issue and also recieved a lot of complaint number till date, but the actual matter is not yet resolved my IPTV is still Deactivated.

Secondly i have also applied for broadband connection which from your server service deparment said they have activated the broadband from 27th March 09, but till date i din't got the connection activated in my home from your side.

I have made a lot of complain till date ie 16th April 09, but happly recieved our apolozy we will get your matter excalated to the higher management, i hope for them the higher management means (BAGWAN BORASA).

People out there planning to opt for MTNL IPTV beware its like opting for mental harressment, irritation free of cost.

THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE GROUND STAFF ARE NON PROFESSIONAL. THEY ONLY KNOW TO PUT THE BLAME TO OTHERS HEAD.
We are also facing the same problem, we have registered many complains but no action has been taken even the person who was sitting in the MTNL office was saying to go to consumer court, it cant do any anything or harmful against us . We want ur suggestion what should we do, we are not able to see any program since 11th of April and they are saying that they would provide their service with in 48 HRS.

You need to inform this to "Namrata Sengupta, Deputy General Manager of Aksh Optifibre".
She maid tall promises but with no result. Ask her to keep her word to public befoe going to Consumer court.
icontrol and trident sol (thr outsourced BPO) brought a bad name for Aksh Optifibre, a fine and listed company on Indian Stock exchanges. And If you are a AKS stock holder, write to the GM of the company about the same.

It is ironical to say that i booked IPTV of MTNL in collaboration with AKS TV on 21/05/2009 which was installed by Mr kapil ([protected]) on 04/06/09 vide no. DL[protected]STB with MAC ID A00663FC). It was activated after a few days but with fringing problem & waiting signal. The same was brought to the notice of Me Kapil & Mr Praveen who could not rectify the problem. Later on complaint no D/090615/55 was filed but AKS TV did not respond. Again second complaint was filed vide D/[protected] dated 10/07/09 but all in vain. A third complaint was filed vide complained no D/090818/28 which was attended by Mr Kapil on 22/08/09 who changed the STB- A00E4F12 VIDE NO DL 00015264 but changing STB could not check the fringing, which Mr Kapil assured to remove from exchange, which was not done. In the mean time Mr Manoj was contacted who asked to file the complain and assured to get rid off the problem. The fourth complaint was filed vide no /09017/20 dated 17/09/09 through Ms Santosh, who assured solution within 24 hours, which was attended one day after by Mr. Amit, who went without solution of the problem. A reminder no 15621 dated 22/09/09 9.00AM as mentioned by Ms Jyoti was filed, in response to that Mr Vinod came on 23/09/09, who could not remove the problem in the lack of coordination with attendants in the exchange. On 24/09/09 1.00 PM, Ms Jyoti Bhatia gave line to Ms Archana Arora who gave the complaint no reminder 15788 dated 24/09/09 and promised to rectify but it is unfortunate that till date the problem is as it was at the time of installation.
Now it is mentioned that believing & feeling good reputation of MTNL, I opted for IPTV but AKS TV has not only ruined the reputation of MTNL, it could not prove it self a good service provider. Being a sincere customer, I always deposited the bills well in time believing AKSTV will give proper service but they proved me wrong.

Aksh Optifibre — Discontinuing Services

I had taken IPTV connection in April 2010, during the vacation period for my children after the school reopened we had requested the company (Aksh Optifibre) to suspend the services, again during the month of November we had recharged, and again deactivated the IPTV as the school reopened after Diwali vacation, we again tried to activate for the month of Jan 2011 but the company did not send their representative for activation. We called up their call center not less than 15 times but they always made the excuse as there was no staff available finally their representative came during the month of Feb 2011 but could not start the transmission and told that u will have to surrender the STB as u have not recharged for 6 months during the year and have not intimated the company that the services is to be suspend for those months, I had taken utmost care to notify them each month for not requiring the IPTV transmission by sending e-mails every month, but is it necessary to notify them in advance?? because in TataSky or in any other operator they would simply discontinue the services unless whenever u recharge for that month u would want to, here i am told that u will have to pay for all your past months and then only u can activate the transmission. Can anybody pls help as this is absolutely against the rule to force the consumer to utilize the service even when he does not want to.
