Dear Sir,

I am user of MTNL Broad band, I am facing problem form January 28, 2010, I log a complaint at 1504 MTNL number, the complaint number is 64800004, my request for internet not working since 28 january 2010. Person come to check for my internet and said take modem to recify the problem at the near sanchar hut.

My request is when MTNL charging for maintains charges every month. How can they ask to take modem to sanchar hut for repair. One important thing is engineer how come to attend the call he always say I don't have tools to repair it, check than why he came for ?

Site engineer only killing money and time of MTNL.

As a user of MTNL broad band. One thing I know every few people are working for MTNL.

I had word with my area manager of Mr. D.K.Singh from batra exchange on saturday. He said I don't have proper man power, you carry the modem as well as the adapter in my office I will do change it. Otherwise I would be done on Monday. Monday is over now. My problem is still Pending.

Now Same reply as an area manager given to me, I can go there and collect it somehow when I am paying for every month to MTNL for my on side service than how can i off site.

Please have look this and try to resolve these kind of issue, there are much more things to do have MTNL.

    Madam/Sir,
    I am holder of broadband connection on my telephone no. 22597709 as per plan Rs. 599/-p.m. The present speed of Net is in between 45-75 kbps which is too slow as result a lot of difficulties are being faced by me. I have already made four complaints no. 3173, 1704, 9903 & 5886 with your office but no action has been taken by your good office till date. It is once again requested that kindly check it and get the needful done at the earliest.

    MTnl Triband 599 unlimited is a 256Kbps Unlimited plan i.e. it provides download and upload speeds of 256Kbps which would provide you maximum of 32KBps downloads and uploads.

    Please note this is a misconception among many people.

    "Kbps" is different from "KBps".

    Kbps is Kilobitspersecond and

    KBps is Kilobytespersecond.

    To know ur speed in KBps divide the speed provided by MTNL(or any ISP) by 8.
    It seems that MTNL has reduced its speed to fetch more money as users will upgrade their connections to higher speed plans. You know business tactics.

    Hi, I just 2 days back got the Unlimited 599 plan, and even i am facing the same problen i.e. poor download speed. Speed is ranging from 17-19 kbps.. I have tried calling at the helpline but it always keeps faling on deaf ears. I am really stuck with a plan which I cannot do anything wth. I tried calling the 1504 helpline today in the eve. I was told that there is a server problem since 2-3 days.. and reading the earlier comments posted I fell that the problem of poor speed is an on going thing. Wot should I do now..? Please Help..     My ADSL and Dolphin both the connections are pain in the .
    The Officers are not concerned at all.

      dear sir
      i m user of mtnl broad band, my telephone no is[protected], i have problem with broad band since i have installed, some time working some time not. my telephone line and broadband will be out of order for completely one week instead of complaint, i was complaint about it in mtnl office and call centre many times.

      why the consumer will pay for that amount which they have not used.

        My mobile,Dolphin No.[protected] is not getting range when I am at my house,situated at Amrutvan near Yashodham High School,Goregaon (E),Mumbai 400063.
        I have approached the. I approached the sub.Div.Engineer,Mr.P.D.Solanki.He guided me to contact Mr.Mokal,Mob.No.[protected] and Mr.Dhuri,Mob.No.[protected].
        They told me that the problem will be sey right within one day.To day.21/01/2010,one week after the complaint the problem remains the same.
        I tried to contact Mr.Shrishankar,Chief of Networking,but he is not available in his Office.

          I also left a complaint earlier that Dolphin-MTNL recharge coupons are not available outside Delhi and NCR.If I am in Aligarh (U.P.) I feel very difficult to recharge my MTNL dolphin.Only BSNL is available there.I also received a feedback from your side in which you have mentioned that coupons are available in Ghaziabad,Faridabad,Noida and Gurgaon.But this I know.I want that coupons should be available all over INDIA like in M.P.,U.P. etc.Please take serious action.

          MTNL — Recharge Voucher Online

          Hi,

          MTNL Mumbai isn't providing re-charging of Prepaid mobile online. They should tie up with some banks like icici or hdfc to provide convenience to consumers for recharging pre-paid mobile.
          It would be very good to have recharge MTNL online so that people like us would use the facility instead of switching it to other operator due to this and some other things as wel. My experience with MTNL mumbai is of more than 5 years now. Most of the time I found that whenever I call, can hear voice from other end but other end can not hear my voice. Worst operator in Mumbai. Really concerned authority need to do something.

            Hi,

            I am using MTNL Broadband past 6 months. Previously, I was using Plan TriB_599. On 21/11/2009 I have applied for TriB Unlimited 384kbps, monthly rental 749/-. In the middle of december when I checked on Customer SelfCare portal it was still not updated with the new plan so I called to the customer care and they confirmed that my plan has changed effective from 1/12/2009 though it will take some time to update in portal.

            This month (1/12/2009 to 31/12/2009) bill I saw that Broad Band Monthly service charges is Rs. 1500/- which should be Rs. 749/-. Also I noticed that my plan name is mentioned in Bill is TriB MP4 384Kbps. I searched MTNL portal but there is no such plan with this name also there is no such unlimited plan with Monthly rental Rs. 1500/-.

            Please do the needful and correct the billing. I should hold TriB Unlimited 384kbps plan and monthly rental should be Rs. 749/-. I will be waiting for the corrected bill.

            P.S.:: I have submitted the application for same to S.D.E. on 11/01/2010 but still o action has been taken.

            Dear Reader,

            I also had very bad experience from MTNL. On 4/01/10 I booked WIRELESS MODEM, the Work Order No: 42 issued on 07/01/10. From 4th Jan. onward I tried to contect and ask the concerned officer but unable to to contact anybody as the MTNL OFFICER's LANDLIND and MOBILE numbers provided by call cerntres, nobody is available ffom 11.00 am to 6.00pm to attend or answer the customer's call which they receive for more then 10 days. With greate difficulty I found MR. KARALE and MR. ROHRA but no satisfactory reply received from them. This attitude of MTNL is extraordinarily bad, bad and very bad . They do not care to attend their customer . Customers are like cats and dogs for them. This is the high time for them to improwise themselves. All everyday they made me to sit with landline and my mobile to get them conntected. They should read this and look into the matter very seriously.

              hello,

              this is regarding mtnl broadband connection.i registered complaints so many times on 1504,but still no permanent solutions were implemented.the speed is slow and the link lights were blinking continuously.i felt very embarrasing when i am replying to any message,the connection was not there,it seems very pathetic and irritating.its almost one year ans still there is no improvement in any of the performance.kindly help me.my number is 26184264.
              Hi all,

              I too have been experiencing the similar issue with MTNL broadband. After activating the service, the internet was perfect upto 1 month but after that the problem has began. It's almost 1 month, I am experiencing connectivity issue. After switching ON the modem, it takes atleast 10 minutes to establish Internet connectivity, whereas after getting conected, the conectoion does not remains constant. It keeps on disconnecting.

              After taking online help (dialing 1504, and press-3) the issue does not resolves. The online executive says that your complaint have been forwarded and very soon our engineer will visit your place to resolve the issue, but no one has ever visited since then.

              The DNS server does not poing, while sometimes it pings the default GATEWAY instead of DNS servers.

              My MTNL number no. is 29656734.

                Respected sir,
                i am getting problem in my broadband connection from starting,when i take the internet connection .it doesnt work properly at any time and the speed is too slow that it takes about 1 min to open a site.,but according to my connection( i.e- Broadband plan-599 unlimited) my speed is upto 256 kbps,which is not delivered to me.I have regulary registered the complaint at 1504 but they only gave assistance that action should be taken from their side.in my modem there are 4 lan connections and i have two computers in my house i wanted to connect broadband in both of the computers but there is any problem in my modem or any i cant give the connection to my second pc i complaint about it many times but no action had been taken till now .

                I am writing this mail because no one is responding against my complaints.I request u to give your attention towards my problem and solved it out.

                  My Name is Anupam Sharma, I am a Prepaid User of MTNL.

                  A month back i Activated MTNL's DIY Caller tune Facility. it generally takes 12 - 24 hours to Activate that, but even after a month, they haven't Activated it.

                  Everyday i used to talk to CSEs But they are Not at all aware that what they need to do..Some of them are completly "mad"..they cut my call..they give silly reasons..some time they simply torture.

                  They dont transfer the call to concerned Department.

                  Sometime i could talk to Playtune Department as well , But all was in Vain as Even the did nothing.

                  For a month or so , i used to spend my hour or two daily talking to these .Genuienly they completly Mentally harressed me.

                  I WOULD LIKE TO COMPLAIN AGAINST ALL THE Concerned Individuals and Against MTNL as well. if you can't Solve the Problems, Why the hell you are Operating.

                    i sucked by problem of not proper functioning of mtnl broaband service from last one year always connection under the curtain of problem.
                    from december 2009 till now dated of complaint it doesn't connected in proper manner for a single minute...lot of complaint logged by me on the 1504 mtnl complaint portal but they dosen't take any specific action and even manger mr.sharma our area manger of badarpur dosen't take any specific action and also dosen't picked phone if he picked then putted that on hold.. if my connection is not in sound manner for more than 15 days then why i get paid the mtnl bill .

                    no one go throgh my problem what i do i can't understand and without internet connection my work get paralysed. you pepole help me what i do.only one option comes to my vision i withdarw the mtnl connection..every sarkari babu juss busy in taking sip of coffe and always blame to server. what this going on, is server also strucked by cold ?
                    if there is consistently problem going why not they change the lan wire i don't no why even any lan man come to my house to take any specific action on my problem... i so much sucked and screwed by mtnl service i like to spit on.
                    any body give me good suggestion how i get rid from this problem pl.

                    MTNL Broadband Service — Broadband service is not proper.

                    To concerned staff,

                    Hereby i want to bring into your notice that i am fed up with the MTNL Broadband service, all the time i have to suffer from the problems like :

                    1. Many times there is no continuous connection, while sending or receiving files, as well as while surfing on net or any websites the connection get disconnected several times after a 5 - 10 minutes break. so my urgent work gets held up but still i have to pay the bill regularly as well as whatever it is mentioned in the bill.

                    2. Many times there is no connections for 24 - 48 hours also just because there is always one common problem i.e. Server problem.

                    3. Whenever we try to book our complaint on 1504 they take longer time to book the complaint and many times call is kept on hold and in that if we try the option 3, there we get response i.e. 'Our engineers are busy at this moment, please try again later.' And then we keep on trying and trying for longer time.

                    Please do the needful as early as possible.

                    MTNL Broadband service — For excessive charging of the bill without that much of usage....

                    Respected Sir/ Madam,
                    I would like to inform you that from the last 3-4 months i have been receiving the broadband usage charges somewhat between Rs.[protected]. I would like to tell you that our usage of the net is not this much that we are getting in our bill. We cannot afford so much high bill instead of which our usage is not there.
                    I would request you to please recheck the broadband meter board and please inform us as soon as possible. Otherwise the need will arise to take some kind of action. Please inform us as soon as possible either by email or telephone. Our telephone no. is 24014548.

                    I am Satya Vinayan and staying in Delhi. I have been using MTNL broadband services for last 6 month. Since beginning there in a big problem in internet connectivity. The link in the modem which shows the established connection which disappears after every 10 mins and I become unable to use the internet. I have complained it many times to MTNL customer care but nobody responds it on this issue and rectifies the problem and hence I am facing this problem since beginning. My MTNL number is[protected].

                    Every month I pay the amount Rs 716 for this service and cannot take advantage of this. Could you please do me this favour and help me to get rid of this issue.

                    i had got my broadband connection from MTNL this march.
                    in the first month,i got very good service with fantastic speed,but this changed the very next month.
                    it has been two months now that i simply cant connect online.i had made online complaint,telephone complaint and also paid a visit to the telephone exchange.
                    initially my speed was reduced to less than half which i used to get,but now i dont have any connection since almost a month now.

                    There has been an unwanted billing for the calls made in 20 days. I opted for the internet connection on[protected] and got 2 bills one of Rs 1211 and the other one of Rs 5,034.00... it says i made calls worth Rs 4,376.00 which has never been made from my landline...                     I have MTNL broadband service[protected] installed on my home. But, it is not working since 7th April. I have launched many complaints but no action has been taken so far.                       Dear Sir,

                      I am Prakash C Yadav, my matter is as below:

                      I had a connection for mtnl landline no: 28704862, since 1979 in OYT General Scheme. For that my father (C.K.Yadav) had paid Rs. 5,000/- as a Deposit amount. When we surrendered our above connection for mtnl landline no: 28704862 at Magathane MTNL Exchange - Borivali - East, in the month of June, 2009 we come to know our Landline Deposit Rs. 5,000/- is Nil.

                      After that we cross confirmed with Kandivali MTNL Exchange, they are also not ready to give me proper Answer & also said my Landline Deposit Rs. 5,000/- is Nil.

                      Regarding my Landline Deposit Rs. 5,000/- is Nil: I am requested them to furnish me:
                      1. Item wise Bills (from & to) detailed to adjusting my deposit amount of Rs. 5,000/-
                      2. A copy of bills or other records showing the amount of deposit adjusted.
                      3. Balance amount of deposit as on date.

                      Till today awited proper reply from them.

                      Pls. do the needful for above matter.

                        MTNL Service is not Bad, it's worst.
                        My Landline with Broadband was not working from 31/01/2020, Landline stared from 15/02/2020, Broadband still not working, no response on 1500/1504/198. No one is picking up the calls at phone numbers provided online.
                        When I surrendered my landline (no.[protected] on April 30, 2019 (MTNL acknowledgement attached), I was assured that I would receive refund within 6 months. Despite follow up, although 2.5 years have now elapsed, I have still mot received. Please expedite.

First of all my plan have been transferred from plan500 to plan 250 without any request for the bill dated 13/12/09, bill no [protected] and secondly there is a monthly service charge error.                           MTNL has the worst costumer care service and if this continues i will have to dissconnect myself from MTNL.Every person in MTNL doesnt know anything when asked and if certain problem arises they just wont help.MTNL IS NOT A GOOD COMPANY PLEASE DONT BUY ANY OF ITS SERVICE I AM NEGLECTINGMY DESICION

                            Telephone & Broadband Not working from 10 days

                            I am using Mumbai's MTNL's Landline and Broad Band service from last 4 years and paying regular bills without fail for Both Landline and Broad band service provided by MTNL. I stay in Thane ( Maharashtra) and my telephone no is 25883792. From last 2 weeks i.e from 20th December 2009 till date( 3rd January 2010) our telephone is not working. I called several times to MTNL complaint centre and in last last week i called every day...

                            Since last 15 days I am getting only 180kbps download speed.
                            As per DSL NU 849 I should get min 256kbps and max 2Mbps speed.
                            So on average I should get 1.5Mpbs download speed.

                            I have modem provided by MTNL only.

                            I have complained on MTNL number 198 with docket#262 before 2 days.
                            Even before that I had complained over triband helpline 1504 as well.
                            But nobody has replied back or resolved my problem yet.

                            There customer service says MTNL is having 4 days holiday, thats why there is nobody available to support. My question is will MTNL reduce the charges for the period for which I am getting low speed?
                            and why there website mentions 24/7 support then?

                            Thanks Kapil.. I will definitely do it as next step.. Its really time consuming to followup with these guys.. I am planning to change to some local cable internet provider, since its no use to just waste my time and money with MTNL customer care.
                            Finally after one week, this problem is resolved by MTNL.

                            But it required me to take following steps before I got this problem resolved.
                            1.I went to my regional MTNL office to find out the exact problem.
                            2. I got three different answers
                            a. Line is faulty ( So they again tested line from my home. But they couldn't find any problem with line.)
                            b. Problem with plan.( So I changed my plan to DSL 399. Still I was not getting the correct speed.)
                            c. Problem in server room. (This I think was the most probable reason.)
                            3. Again I logged complaint with MTNL with docket# T[protected] and wrote email to triband helpdesk.
                            4. I got calls on Saturday from MTNL saying they resolved the problem.

                            Finally when I tested speed on yesterday night, I am getting around 1.6Mpbs download speed.
                            Which means they have certainly resolved this problem now.

                            Now I will continue with MTNL broadband only. But they need to address such issues very quickly in future.

                            I agree that MTNL offers the best stable internet connection.

                              i am not good experience during the roaming in MP, UP, there are bsnl but i cant call or recieved call anyone other side caller every time massege that phone is busy or not reachable i have delhi mtnl 3g connection

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  I am the subscriber of MTNL using broadband connection commercial. My Telephone No. is 26668651. On 5th December 2009 my Broadband connection was disconnected. After waiting for connection, I booked my complaint through 198 vide their complaint No. 288 on 6th Dec. 2009. Uptill 23rd Dec. 2009 my broadband was not connected and complaint was in pending. On 23rd Dec. 2009, I was booked my complaint to MOC vide their complaint No.3407 and to GM Office Nehru Place also. Thenafter on 23.12.09 in the evening my broadband got connected. In the mean time I was talked to the local officers (JTOs & SDOs) regarding this complaint they give me simple answer “SERVER DOWN HAI” or “UPAR SE PROBLEM HAI” and all the connections working properly in my area. Why only my server is down. This problem looses my business because “e-payment” is my main business. So how can I pay the department’s bill and how can I fulfill the loss of my image in market.

                                  Why should I pay the bill for this 19 days period because I have not got service in the said period. So please give the deduction in my current bill for this 19 days period.

                                      We live in Sector-9, Ghansoli area. We are living in this area since last 4 year but we are not provided Land line facility from our govt phone provider MTNL. When ever we contact Vashi or Koparkhairane MTNL office, we are not getting any proper reply.
