My net connection of MTNL has not been working since 6th March, 2011. I have made serval call to MTNL officials but nobody tried to solve my problem. Finally I lodged Online Complaint Docket No.7254 dt.[protected]. From 6th March, 2011 onwards, I have been calling MTNL Officials but they continue to give some excuses. Left with no alternative, I had sent SMS to two Officials of MTNL (whom i have been speaking) on 11th March, 2011 stating my Internet problem have still not been resolved. If this is the attitude shown by MTNL towards its Consumer, then its high time the Customer's is left to choose their own Pvt. Operators, who give value for their money. In fact, I strongly suggest there should be MNP in these field also, so that the Consumers can choose the correct Internet Service Provider as is in the Case of Mobile Phones. Further, I wish to state that my Children are fully depended on Net as they to require to get lot of information with regard to their various Education courses and their exam schedules, etc. etc. My only request is that MTNL, Mumbai should immediately look into my genuine problem and try to resolve the same at the earliest. MTNL — non functioning of internet
Dear Sir/MadamOur internet connection was installed on 13/6/09. At the time of installation the modem provided by mtnl was not a new one and looking faulty as appeared on the box of the modem provided by the mtnl. The same was brought to the notice of the lineman but he installed the faulty modem. Our internet is not working since 17/6/09. This complaint was lodged to the mtnl on 19/6/09 which can be seen from their record o[censored]rgent complaint. After that 5 days have been elapsed and despite several reminders no action is being taken by the mtnl authorities. If the same complaint is not rectified within 24 hours, I will surrender my internet connection.
