[Resolved] New Delhi Passport Office — did not receive Passport even after three months | |
Hi, I applied for the Passport on 19Nov,07.But i did not get my passport till now. The file Ref no. is H[protected]. Upto 22nd Jan the status was : " Police report has not been received." After that i mailed to the passport office , then after two days the status changed to :'Passport was ready on 23-01-08.'But i did not get the passport till today[protected]. I used to do the mail to passport office regulary but no response was there from their side.Also No body is picking up the phone there. Once i got a call from passport office and told that the police report has not been received. Then i contacted the local police station as well as the Distt Police station. Ijust confirmed from them about the verification. Local police stations sent the request on 24 Dec,07 and the Distt Police station sent the report on 04jan,08. Now i am not getting what to do ???? The present status is : 'Passport was ready on 23-01-08' But i did not get the passport till now..... Please help... I had applied for the passport file No A023640 dated 27.04.2010. but after 3 month got the status that police report is clear my file is under process, but i want know that how much time you will take to deliver the passport and why getting late to deliver the passport? or this is rule to get late discribe me fast.

I applied for passport 1 month back under normal scheme, but was not available in my town at the time of police verification.Police send the feedback applicant not available in town.
Now I have urgent requirement of passport within 10 days. Can I apply for passport again under Tatkal scheme or I can upgrade my prior request of passport to talkal scheme by paying the required fee for passport.
I will be thankful if you could suggest me the correct path.

Despite our repeated complaints no actions has been taken. Its been more than 3 months now and the status is showing that it is pending for police request. I have to go abroad for my further studies and i am not able to do anything because i don't have a passport. You are requested to take some urgent steps as i need my passport very urgently. Hope you will do the needful.

But my daughter is still studing in 10th class so she does not has any 10th/12th certificate. We have already submited date of birth certificate(MCD) and school i-card of 10th class for date of birth clarification. I have also submited same application regarding the issue of passport of my daughter swati malhotra on 27/11/2010. And there is no response from your office side.

Hence your enquiry is not valid. Please issue my daughter's passport immediately without further delay.
