Handset Nokia - 6275 — Regarding Support Under Warranty Period

Dear Sir/Mam,
I was one of the NOKIA - 6275 user. I had encountered Handset Display problem from last few days. With reference to above mentioned subject, I vist to Vashi Telecom, Nokia Care Centre, based at C2/3/0:1, Sector - 2, Vashi, Navi Mumbai - 400703.
My Handset is steel under warranty Period but they denied to consider warranty criterion for my handset as they were cliaming to find water exposure on my cell phone.But My cell phone never encountered any water exposure.Now to resolve the problem they are asking for Service charge Rs. 335 & If they will find any parts ( related to diaplay function) not working propoerly during servicing, then I have to bear the cost of that parts.
I am extremely surprised that, yet they dnt know the real problem cause and they forcefully caliming about water exposure, denyed warranty & asking for money to repair the same.
My Handset Warranty got expired within month period.Pls do needfull ...

Dear Sirs,

Sub; Nokia handset Servicing- Job Sheet No.080808/8 Nokia Care Center, Gariahat, Kolkata

Yesterday I visited the above service center. After waiting for nearly one hour I was attended and my hand set was taken for servicing for an estimate of Rs. 169/-. I was informed to check on a telephone connection by 3 PM for the exact cost of service and reach the center before 4 PM for delivery. I could not get through to the connection in spite of several trials and hence I reached the center by 4 PM. I had to wait for a long time and when my turn came the set did not function for more than a few seconds and the screen went off. The person at the center remarked that the set requires cleaning of the key pad as water has gone inside and there is rust. I was then told that actual charges are Rs 450/-. I had around Rs. 350/- and hence I could not take delivery.

Today morning I went to the center and the set again failed. The person at the counter asked me to connect to the charger. The set again failed. However, after it was charged for some time, the set started working.

I was then given a bill (scanned copy enclosed). The service charges was Rs. 100/ and service tax at 12.36% was Rs 69/ and Rs 281/ was charged as “components”. On enquiry I was told it is not customary to list the components in the bill. Then I insisted that the list should be recorded in the job card or they have to show the service register. This was refused and the items were listed in the Bill. I was asked to give a confirmation that the set is working satisfactorily on the job card. I registered my observation about the failure of the set and put my signature,

On reaching home I observed that the bill furnished is not of Nokia but of an agency. I then recalled that there is no evidence of the existence of the Agency neither in the Name board outside the center nor a formal display of the arrangement between Nokia and the agency running the center.

I went to the center assuming that it is Nokia’s operation. It is now apparent that Nokia is allowing an agency to exploit the customers.

1. Will Nokia explain why such a set up is allowed to operate in their name?
2. Why the operations are not transparent? Why there is no display of the arrangement between Nokia and the agency and the Agency is allowed to operate in the name of Nokia. This becomes apparent only when someone scrutinizes the bill.
3. Why the agency refuses to show the records of the defects found, list of parts replaced etc which will ensure the interest of the customer.

During 21/2 to 3 hours I spent at the center there were at least one dozen customers who were bitterly complaining. One person was following up since April for free replacement of defective head set and had visited the center on number of occasions. The staff simply says that the parts are not in stock and no date is furnished for the possible delivery. They do not make an entry in the job sheet about the customers visit enquiring about their issues A lady was complaining that her set has not been serviced for 17 days and each time she has to wait for a long time to be told that the set is not ready. She made a scene bitterly complaining and after some time the security complained that the child accompanying the lady had broken something in the reception area. With that a number of office staff joined together and started to exchange harsh words. At one point one of them used derogatory words and then I intervened and told a senior looking staff that this is not acceptable at all. Under no provocation can an organization’s staff can behave badly with a customer.

I can go on but what is important is that you are allowing your goodwill to be misused. I also suspect that the customers are being short changed and if you make an enquiry very little is in record, It is a sad state that Nokia’s reputation and customers’ interest are at the hands of an agency who apparently seem not answerable to any one.

Coming back to the bill story the staff simply changed the service charges from Rs. 100 to Rs 150 and the tax from Rs 69 to Rs 19.

I retuned back home with a feeling of possibly having been taken for a ride.

This is not intended to be a complaint about the Agency but the state of affairs Nokia has allowed their customers to be exposed. What a shame???

I am also fed up with the services at NOKIA care.My cellphone was in good in condition and suddenly it got switched off, thus i have given my cellphone 5610 Xpress music on 28-07-08, near my home in vaishali ghaziabad at nokia care centre.I have purchased the phone on 17-04-08..thus it is in warranty which is been voided by nokia care and the reason was liquid damage, i am 100% sure no liquid has gone by me, on the other hand there contact number([protected]) always comes switch off the reason is that water has gone in there office.So, if water in my cellphone was found that is surely by there mistake.
On the other hand when i told the manager there(Mr Aditya) on his cellphone to give my cell back he always refuses and tell me to return it back after a day or two i dont know what`s going on?Even every time i call him up he not receive my call.
Can you please tell me when i will get my cell back, i hope you will take some steps reagarding the same and ill get my cell in on position.

5200-GSM — NOT GET PROPER RESPONSE

I have submit the my handset on dtd-23.07.08 after getting some fault in his reciving of the signal and I have submit the mobile in Benz iNDIA( Nokia care center ) Naraina Vihar and they provide me IMEI no-[protected] dtd 23.07.08 and he take the 7-8 days for completion the job but till date i have not recived the my handset and when i was enquiring about my phone they replied that they has sent the phone in his H.O and it will take 3-4 days more, Now but i am not getting the responsible response and a fiexd time period for completeion the jok, When i enquiry about the phone ther replied that it will take 2-3 days more & so on...

On 11th of August 2008, i got an SMS saying that i won 1, 85, 000.00 (GBP) and that for claim i should call [protected],
I had called them up and they told me to send them an mail stating my name and detailed address and mobile number.Then they sent me a verification form, were i had to fill it up and mail it back to them. Then they asked me for driving licence or passport for verification purpose along with the payment release form which they had sent it to me through mail. Nokia3500 — Often Mobile automatically switched off but not switched on and keeps on flickering

I have purchased Nokia 3500 model in January, 2008. More than (for the past) 3 months the mobils is having problem. Often the mobile automatically switched off but not switched on and flickering. I gave the mobile through Nokia Service Centre, Alwarpet, Chennai for 6 times. But, the defect has not yet been rectified. The mobile was given through my representative Mr. Rakesh. Even, I asked for the replacement of mobile. But, no response from your side. The Service Centre people returned the mobile only with the same complaint. They have not tested the mobile properly. Now, I am not in a postion to use the mobile which is only 7 months old and within the period of warranty. Hence, as I am not satisfied with the service I request you to replace the mobile with a new one.

Nokia / N - 76 GSM Cellphone — Keys and painting issues

Hi,

Its not over than an year, i purchased N-76 from nokia, but already i am facing so many issues in that. Its painting and keys are coming up already.

I have given the cell to nokia prioirity center more than a month, but still i have not received yet. I have given to capital electronics, Bidhan nagar, P-161, VIP ROAD, SCHEME VIIM, kolkata-54.

I am very disappointed with nokia care center and with their response. It may possible i will never purchase any nokia produce in near future.

Nokia, Airtel Connection — no signal

this is the mail regarding my cell phone which has a airtel connection. from yesterday that is 17 august, i'am unable to see the signal sticks on my mobile, and also not getting incoming calls, not able to make any calls. only few messages are keep coming such as ( CHECK INFO SERVICES, ERROR IN CONNECTION, NO NETWORK COVERAGE) these are the three typical messages i am getting.
i would appreciate if this is rectified as early as possible.
