Ihave purcheased my nokia 5800 expreass music in july 2009 From kolkata Pantaloons ,Fool Bagan,and then due to my work Reasons i moved to Chennai,and then there were problems with my Handset ,cz it was restarting and there were viruses in the handset which i think was due to the memory card that i got when i purchased the hand set,then i took the hand set to the nokia showroom in raksha impex ,chennai and they said that they would repair it and then offered me the warranty of 565 bucks which i accepted and then they expalined the terms and conditions stating that even if there is a hardware fault they would replace the hand set and i was quite happy ,then again in november 2010 my hand set was troubling me and the key pad was not working,i took the hand set again to same nokia care shop and they told me that its a fault with the screen and that it is not covered in the warranty papers,i was shocked cz i did not expected this kind of serice from such a big and reputed company and im sure this would be my last phone from nokia, they charged me 2200rs.and did not even tell me what did they do to my phone to fix it,not even the job sheet copy is with me.i would like to claim compensation from them and i have all the warranty papers to prove that there is no where written on them that the warranty would not cover touch pad failure,Please revert back on this as im aware that it would take maximum of 30 days,and if i do not get any response from the consumer court i will have to take this further from here,looking forward to hearing from you.My number to contact me is [protected] and [protected]

Nokia / Nokia 2700 — inferior product/Inferior company

Dear Sir/Mam,

I purchased Nokia phone model no 2700 from Cariano Next shop no 8-E Kamla Nagar Delhi-7 this year on January 10th 2010.

As mentioned the model no of the phone and as stated in the original Bill is Nokia 2700 IMEI no mentioned is #[protected].

The phone worked well for some time and it went dead while charging last month. I called Nokia care at number mentioned on Nokia website i.e +[protected] and spoke with Himender singh who gave me the nearest available Nokia care address and informed me to submit my dead Nokia phone there.

I went and token no 03 was given mentioning following details :-

I was told that phone cannot be repaired since it's tampered. I was asked to pay for services and repair for Nokia phone which is still in warranty period.

I confronted the engineer that since the phone went dead I haven't given the same to anyone and therefore it's not been opened by anyone except Nokia care. It's still in warranty period and therefore should be repaired/replaced as per warranty provided which expires next year on 10th of Jan 2010.

The engineer insisted that Nokia care will not accept the phone and repair it.

The engineer insisted that I need to pay INR 950/- in order to get the phone repaired eventhough it's in warranty period.

This phone which I purchased cost me INR 4000/- as stated on the original bill.

Why would I show phone to a local person when it's still in warranty and can be repaired by Nokia care for no charges ?

I would like a refund of the said amount INR 4000/- if Nokia is not willing to take ownership of there inferior product.

Nokia Mobiles India Ltd — MODEL REPLACEMENT

In spite of our several reminders and mail to customer [protected]@nokia.com(more than 10 times) and personally I talked with toll free no [protected] and customer complaint no:1-[protected] more than 20 times and they are always talking scripted language that you will receive reply within 24 hours or 48 hours.

NOKIA is a very big company world wide and iam a very small consumer loyal to nokia in my family of 6 I have more than 10 instrument and all the pieces are nokia different model .BUT the co is not responding to my complaint seriously and sitting ideal in their office.

For your ref I have enclosed mail copy sent to nokia but till date they not replied my mail nore they have exchanged the model as assured by their technical team.
More than 45 days has elapsed and and my 15000/- piece is with the service center of nokia and I am not able to concentrate on other work.

So please help me out and instruct nokia co to exchange my mobile set .

Nokia — Keypad not working thrice within a span of 4 months

Hi, This is Sharad Sharma. I am using Nokia phone since 2005. With my first Nokia phone i was fully satisfied but since I've buy my 2nd Nokia phone (5310) it become a trouble using it. In Aug'10 the keypad stopped working for which I've rectified the problem by replacing the Keypad with a new one original paying Rs/- 1550 at MICRONAS, Noida (Ridiculous customer service). Just after 20 days of repairing, keypads again stopped working then I again submitted to MICRONAS. At last I am again facing the same problem. So within a span of 4 months my keypad stopped working thrice which I never expected from NOKIA.
Kindly make a strong action to resolve my problem or suggest me- Should I use any other phone brand except NOKIA ?
