[Resolved] Onida Xaria — TV Set has problem | |
I bought a new Onida Xaria from Vijay sales (Ghatkopar, Mumbai) on 6 May 08. From the 1st Month itself the TV started to give problem. In the Warranty period I made 3 Complains 1. Voice Problem 2. Remote sensor problem 3. Remote Problem. All the 3 time the person came and rectified the problem. After the Warranty got over in the month of May 09, My TV Power sensor went bad. They had to replace the same. And after 2 months of replacement of sensor my TV Has become a radio, Initially for the 1st 5 Minutes one can hear only voice and then the screen starts working. When complained the Technician said its the cable Settop box problem. But he was not able to answer the question, when I try to increase the TV Volume the Bar does not appear. Please can someone replace this set and give me a new one. Cause for me 48 Thousand is a big amount and to loose this amount will be a big thing for me. Good service when it comes to technical support. But when you tell them for replacement, They will make you run from Pillar to Post. I have registered the complain No: [protected]. The technical person did come the next day. But this time I did not allowed him to touch the TV as it is the 9th Problem in 14 Months of I buying the TV. I Spoke to a lady on the following No: 28764605/ 28791499 and she told me to Speak to Rajeev Bhatt or Mr. Ashok on 30881795/96/97. I been trying to call them for almost 2 week now. But they never answer the call. I regret for the decision of buying Onida products and I would strongly recommend Everyone not to buy it cause I leaving in Mumbai is finding it really difficult to get a replacement of a defected Product.
I am the customer of ONIDA Company. I have purchased a L C D, Onida Xaria 32 Inch
from Megatronix Kolar Karnataka . In the month of Nov 2009, This LCD was not in service
since last month and we have placed a complaint to Onida customer care dept .and they have register our complaint & they have given us a complaint no [protected]& your person has also came on 12 of December 2009. Service Engineer (Mr. Ganesh)
& he checked & went away but he did do nothing again we registered a compliant to costumer Care and complain no is [protected] on 26/12/2009 with same problem
. Again Service engineer came(Mr. Ganesh) is said that it is not possible to repair hence same has to be re placed in this regard he provided Mr Acharaya No [protected], and I requested this gentle men but I don’t get any response and I called several times to customer care but they simply say that with in 48 hours Engineer come over and i called MR Sreedhar No [protected] and I will not get any response (I recorded all the talks with Customer Care and other Onida officials the phone charges is around R.S;2000.00
Hence iam planning to file a complainant u/s 12 of the Consumer Protection Act against the opponents i.e. Onida company

Onida Xaria — NOT WORKING
We had bought ONIDA XARIA 32" TV during December '08. The TV remote stopped working at the early stage itself... now the channels are changing by itself.... the volume gets increased to its maximum.... and also turns to auto tune mode.... all by itself....Please send any of your technicians for a solution please solve the problems
