I have Onida Microwave oven. It is one of the worst quality product I have ever seen. When it failed, I raised a support request on onida customer care.
A day after technician visited the house. He did not seem confident. When I told him, convection is not working, he showed me that water is getting heated on microwave heating!
I told him that magnetron controls microwave heating and that’s fine. What is not working is Convection. Most likely coil is faulty.
After sometime, he confirmed my speculation that coil is faulty. However when the product is out of warranty, he took out the coil and took it with him. That’s unacceptable. Moreover the working solo oven part of it was now crippled and the entire unit was out of service.
Every time I called him later, he said, he is yet to check the availability of part. 3 days wasted. Then he said part is not available. Then he said, he will get it from elsewhere.
Now the part is also not available and they are not coming to reinstate the device to previous working state.
Escalations did not help. No one called me despite repeated follow-ups with customer care.
This is last time I am buying Onida product.
I pray for loss of business, bankruptcy and debacle of Onida as a company.
They are going to go down the drain. This is my curse to Onida.
