I applied for the reissue of passport as i wanted to change my surname after marriage.when i see my reissued passport my surname was changed but it was a ECR passport. My old passport which was valid, was a ECNR passport, even i have submitted my postgraduate degree with original verification at the time of submitting the application.
I think this is the mistake by passprt office side, so what should i do for ECNR stamp of this passport.
My application no. is BOM-E[protected].
