I have applied for a passport for my minorchild under Tatkal scheme on[protected] and passport is expected to revice on[protected].
It is told and also written on the receipt that the passport will be despatched by 12 -6-09 and the file numbe given is c009540 and c009541.
When I check the status online with the file number the status is as " Passport is expected to be despatched by[protected] Subject to all documents being in order." I am surpirsed ???????
Should I care for the status online or not.
Can any one help me on this issue. I was continuously trying to contact the passport office through phone but all the phone are always busy. I had even written a email.
Can any one form passport office repond to my query.

my passport No.Abb53529 was expired last year ie on[protected].I had given it for renewal even though the police enquiry was compleated on dec '08 itself the online status of my passport is saying "Police Report has not been received" (file no.HYDL[protected].so i reqest you to go thru the concerned procedures and speed up the reneval process.

RPO Hyderabad — indefinite delay in despatch of passport

i had applied for reissue of my passport on nov.12,2010. on jan.20 2011 the status was police varification is done and is clear and the passport will be dispatched on jan.24,2011however subsiquent status updates for last 8 weeks state that due to unavoidable circumstances the passport will be despatched in weeks time.i want to visit USA to see my grandchildren during june/july. before that i have to renew my USvisa.
