I have lost my passport. Can you please tell me how can i apply for new passport?
I have my passport number, FIR and photocopy of my passport.

I have applied passport 6 months ago. I didn't get any update from the passport office. I went Police commissioner office to know the status of my police clearing certificate. They have told that, police clearing certificate dispatched to passport office about two months ago. I went to passport office to know the status, the security is not allowing inside to know the status of my passport. I am 60 years old lady, as a elder no respect when i go to passport office and they were very rude, when you ask for response. We dont know, what is going on inside the passport office. Will be greatful, if some one initiate and know the status inside.
I found the below details in passport.gov.in website to the status of your passport. I tried infinity times, they never lift the phone. Is this valid phone number?

I satya kumar konjarla(file ref noVSP X[protected] applied for change of name in my passport on June 21 2010 in visakhapatnam. I submitted all the certificates those are required for it but i have not received my passport yet, I dont think why this is taking lot of time for change completed 2 months But when i check the status, it is showing "Police report not received, actually i was doing job in hyderabad Please See this and send my latest updated passport as early as possible".
Please let me know, how to proceed further. This is very urgent to me.My application VSP X013613 in 2010

I zulfikar gooty mohammed applied passport on 12/07/10 ( file no E 007172)and My police verification is completed. and no is C 263.. i visited 3 times passport office at vizag.. none of them helped me.. but kept saying passport will come ine one week.. its 3 months now..
