Pharmacy — Buying extra medicines

Dear Sir/Madam,

Before filing complain i would want to know if it is legal if chemist/Pharmacies provides full leaf of the medicine when you require only two or three tablets.

I have visited almost every chemist shop in Andheri East along with Apolo Pharmacy in Andheri. Whenever we ask for any medicine it has been strictly told that they will not give us on1 or two tablets and hence we have to buy the whole pack of 10-12 tabelts. At my home i have good collection of all type medicines and i am not sure what shall i do with that.

I am well paid service woman and hence can afford this but what about the other poor people. Also why shall i wasre my money which hard earned money.

Pharmacy — rules to be followed

I am pharmacist in Indore ; is their any rules in which its compulsory to replace/redeem or buy back the remaning pharma products hal[censored]sed by patients as they found to b not effective or missdosed by doctor or dosed half by doctor.

hello I m also a pharmacist last 25 years. my experience is that when u buy a whole strip you can b aware of its contents its mfg date and exp.date plus its lot. no and manufacturers name with its factory location etc
buying loose pills can be fake duplicate in seeing might expired or seems to be of other use and potency which you may purchase
while in loose strips and pills sold loose out of packed bottle's it may be very old dont have all the details on it and it lies for months in the pharmacy unsold finally expires leading national loss.
these remaining pills and used pills are then disposed out can b reused by roadside person which is life taking
taking 1 2 3 tabs its not a proper dosing required for human body
so its should be compulsion to buy a whole pack not to worry about cash
it should be also watched by medical authorities that producers should make strips contaning lesser pills those pills are expensive

I had same incident as you had, my husband taken a medicion which was not written in the prescription, but was given by that chemist. I want to lodge a complaint against him, can u please provide me a channel where i can?

Same thing is going on everywhere in delhi, where's the delhi govt.?

is been operated without holding any license and also been noticed that they sell medicine which are already expired which can be dangerous for anyone who buy medicines from the store named above.The shop keeper doesn't give receipt for the medicines which is very dangerous.

My wife is suffering from piles. On 17/11/2014 we had purchase cefum 250 mg tablet four strip along with other medicine from Chemist Shop - Gupta Medico, Near IPH, Mahipalpur. We have not seen the manufacture date and expiry of medicine. After taking 7 tablets we realise that something is wrong. By taking this medicine her period started once again and stomach pain was their. When we check the medicine it was expire on July, 2014. Kindly take action against him how he is selling expiry date medicine. This is very serious issue. I have kept that medicine strip as proof along with doctor precription.Thanks Anjan

Recently i went to maharastra medical &general stores, 7/A East st i reoneet, DR Coyaji Road, camp, Pune-411001.

They gave me the face wash which they mixed half with some liquid(As it is very diluted when compared with the original ).And i am not sure about medicines which i brough from them.

I have receipts and medicines with me what to do, I dont want to let them to do all these illegal things and to play with the health of people for money

there is a big stock of expire medicine and .they never give a bill.2 days back i bought a medicine which was expired 2 months back .
There is no person with B pharm in that medical shop and a child below 18 year deals with customers.no certificate is displayed.. if doctor prescribed one medicine, they are giving some other medicine. I have cross checked with Apollo pharmacy and they said it is not an alternative medicine and u should not have this medicine for this disease. They have some B pharm person to sign the medical shop but actually they don’t have any B pharm guys working there.

I Pappu lodge complaint against a Medical Store Shri Vrindavan Medical Store in front of TV hospital Mathura road Vrindavan.
There is 1 fraud doctor sitting in his medical store & told that i am vrindavan hospital govt doctor and above medical store sale heavy bill medicine and not provide bills and give us very very dirty words.
I had return my medicine of Rs. 3000.00 but he provide me only Rs. 1700.00 and give me unauthorized warning.

Request you to please do the needful for my rest money & fraud medical store.

I have found same problem that i need 2 pils but i must need to buy all strips and rest for us is west.

in bangalore also, it is rising trend that pharmacy is being run by unqualified people. also they force us to buy full strips and refuse to take unused medicines back. RxDx hospitals, itpl rd, sakra hospitals, outer ring rd, Ritecure, brigade arcade, whitefield rd. i would like to register complaint against the above 3 pharmacy.

I am reliably informed that a Medical Shop (Vasant Medical & General Store, Jogithana Peth, Itwari Main Road, Umred, p.o:-umred, Nagpur distric(MH[protected] is selling huge quantity of clear kit medicine to the young guys of the Locality without any prescription. Most of the young boys/girls in our locality are bought to the above mention medicine from Mr. Pravin who is working there.
I will be highly obliged if you Please look after the matter and take actions good for the society.

Sharma Medical Store — complaint against Sharma Medical Store

I would like to lodge complaint against Sharma Medical Store who is running a Medical Store – Sharma Medical Store 33 Feet Road Near Shiv Mandir Oppt. Dr. Rajive Sharma Delhi -110094

There is no person with B pharm in that medical shop and if doctor prescribed one medicine, they are giving some other medicine. I have cross checked with other pharmacy and they said it is not an alternative medicine and u should not have this medicine for this disease. My neighbour purchased a strip of painkillers from that Medical Store for her brother, taking which caused him acute poisoning in the stomach. The doctor clearly reported that the poisoning had been caused by the painkiller, which was not past its expiry date, but it was some sort of severe drug under the brand name of the painkiller. We complained to Sharma Medical Store, he instead of listening to us misbehaved and threatened us if we complained about him to higher authorities. Most of the peoples residing there are facing the same problem.
please take needful action against this store as he is plyaing with the life of people for sake of money
