[Resolved]  Postpaid Connection — Complain against Reliance Web World, Nehruplace, New Delhi, got connection 199 plan instead of 275 STD plan

This is regarding the complaint against Reliance Web World, Nehru Place, New Delhi.

I Sudhiranjan Biswal was having the Reliance Pre paid number [protected], which I wanted to convert into Reliance Post paid STD 275 plan. For this enquiry I went to the Reliance Web World, Nehru Place, New Delhi and enquired about to convert my pre paid connection to above mentioned post paid connection. I was confirmed that the pre paid connection of mine can be converted to post paid STD 275 plan.

I submitted all the relevant documents for which the verification and confirmation has already been done. But the number was not activated for which again I had to take leave from my office and I went to enquire the same. There after I got to know that the pre paid number I am using for past 1.5 years is showing terminated in their system which I failed to understand because I was receiving the calls on the same number.

After this confusion from their side the employees of Reliance Web World asked me to take a new connection. Still I agreed because I wanted the post paid connection that too the STD 275 plan and for this I had to pay Rs 680/-.

The number [protected] got activated on 28th May, 2009. After a week approximately I got a confirmation call form Reliance Customer Care wherein I was shocked to know that the Reliance Web World has given me the post paid connection of 199 plan instead of 275 plan.

After this I have visited Reliance Web World, Nehru Place, New Delhi thrice (taking leave from my office)to know why they have given me 199 plan instead of 275 plan that too when I clearly told them about it.

They told me again and again that my number will get activated into 275 plan till evening.

I am clueless now as I am suffering because of the mistake done by the employees of Reliance Web World, Nehru Place, New Delhi. I have also mailed this to customer care and have also called regarding the same on 03-June-09. the complaint number is 99594700. After this complaint I got a call from[protected] saying that the complaint I have done regarding the above mentioned matter will be solved and my number will be activated to 275 plan within 48 hours. I received this call on 04-June-09.

48 hours is already over and I have not received any call for the same. Infact I again called the customer care on 06-June-09 to know the status but the reply I got this time was that they cannot convert the 199 plan to 275 plan.

I cannot understand that why the employees of Reliance Web World, Nehru Place, New Delhi has given me 199 plan instead of 275 plan. I am suffering by paying high cost of STD in this plan, by 4 leaves taken from office because of the careless work by the Reliance employees, Nehru Place.

I am putting this matter in front of you with an expectation that you will take action against the Reliance Web World, Nehru Place, New Delhi and I will get the justice very soon.

I dont know how reliance is running his GSM buisness. I feel pity about the the employees of reliance GSM because they are so illiterate that they can’t even handle a simple enquiry. They are just completely lost and don’t have any idea about there own domain.

I will give you my example where I felt cheated. A month ago I bought up a reliance post paid connection because they had launched a new series which starts from 8010-. As it’s a new series I thought that I can get a new SIM according to my chosen number. But soon I realized that I have made a biggest mistake by taking this number. Both MTNL and BSNL users were not able to make a call on my new reliance post paid number as its says that number is invalid. I called up reliance customer care (thank god after trying 100 times I got connected to so called customer care!!) and reported the incident. incredibly they are not able to understand the problem and said that everything is fine, and there is no fault at there end.

Reliance telecommunication (I am laughing at them), it’s a widespread blunder that they hadn’t tested the connections (new series) before launching in the market. Only mobile to mobile communication is happening but landline users are not able to make a call on my number. I don’t have word to describe this blunder….

Now second problem, when I am trying to pay the bill online on reliance website, its saying me “please enter the valid mobile number” because it’s not programmed to take number which starts from numeric 8. It’s a big shame for reliance and for its technical team. They have demonstrated the biggest unprincipled example in front of the whole world.

hiiee i am Satish chauhan . i must complaint against the web world of reliance in noida sector 18. because i submitted my postpaid to prepaid conversion( my mobile no - [protected]) form on[protected]. so the executive told me that it will take five days to change . but till[protected] i got no result . i have visited web world 6-7 times for this concern.but nobody responded me there. and then i talked the manager he committed me false commitment .so now what can i do .my alternate contact no is [protected]. please take some action against them ..
